THE VOICE LIVES ON!!! so happy I got to see her 3 times in 2010... She had her ups and downs but nothing will ever change the fact she is the most influencial female singer of all time... There will never be another...
This performance was amazing! It proves that she had still retained the ability to reach some of her high notes. If she hadn't rushed her tour, her voice would have made a remarkable recovery. (Later for the naysayers that believe that her whole entire career begins and ends with I Will Always Love You.)

this really saddened me revisiting it, she was just such a beautiful woman with a kind warm energy and heart, and so funny... i remember watching this in 2009... when he says "please don't take another 10 years to come back".. who'd of thought 2 years later she'd be dead.. It's just mad, Whitney we miss you!!!
She was forced back by the industry. I agree she needed more time. They over worked her until the very end-then decided she would be worth more in death. She did not deserve such a tragic ending. Nor her daughter. Praying for justice on her behalf. 🙏
💖I love how she always made a point of acknowledging God & Jesus in her presentation, since the beginning of her career. From the cross charms on her earrings, to her interviews, to her thank you speeches on winning award nights...and she taught her daughter to do the same, as she demonstrated in many of her online posts. 💖

I have to admit I thought there were studio enhancements made to the recording of this song. But I was wrong because this live version sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the recording. Her voice is strong and her pitch rises higher than on the recording effortlessly. Only Whitney can do that as she always have.
now i feel bad to think her voice was gone because this video proved she still had it. sure, she couldn't belt it out like she could back in the early 90s but her voice is pretty strong here. when she was on point, the woman was on point. so sad to realize that her comeback was cut short :( who would've thought she'd be gone so soon. we love ya whitney!
She was a middle aged woman here and not going to sound like she did at 25 . Changes come with getting older and some great voices don`t last as long as others for whatever reasons. I`m sure smoking didn`t help but she does not sound horrible here .

Ok so after watching the many vids here from 2009 on...I have to go on record as saying that, drunk or sober, this was the most touching performance of Whitney's since her "comeback" began. She could have done all the hard living as she wanted to before this, but there is no mistaking that her essence is still there. Whitney, thank you for being here, and thank you for singing right on up til the end of your time here. There must be pop music in heaven, because that's where Whitney is :) XOXOXO

She "lifted" her "head" beautifully against so much opposition from the public, in spite of of fail attempts, and disappointments. She never gave up. What courage, and strength she found in herself! I am a massive Whitney fan I think her no#1 and I've struggled to watch her later videos after shes passed it makes me too sad to see her struggling to keep it together. I saw her final ever tour and it was a night I will never forget as much as her addictions caught up with her in the end she still left us with a beautifully produced positive album and performed it for us the best she could. She looked to him and shes with him now RIP Whitney I will always love you.

@canelle09 dude give her a break!!..she was very aware her voice wasnt the same...but the woman still got on that stage a sung LIVE becuz thats who whitney houston was!!...can you imagine the pressure of being called "THE VOICE" by the entire world for 2 decades and then to not have it anymore is a devastating Blow not only to her ego but confidence...but i will tell you like i told her when i met her...she proved herself yrs ago, her work is done...let the music she left speak for itself...

I wish people would get it into their heads, Whitney was a party girl way before she met Bobby. He had nothing to do with her bad habits, she made those decisions for herself. EVERYBODY makes MISTAKES. You either learn from them or repeat them. Obviously she has learned from them and matured from them. Judge people not by their mistakes, but by their triumphs. The past is the past. Let it stay behind, forget about what the media is saying, she is the voice and always will be, she put GOD first

All the people saying her voice sounds cranky cuz of drugs I don't doubt you but really I think age has something to do with it to. As you get older so does your voice box and she obviously can't hit the notes she hit when she was a teenager or in her twenties its completely normal.

I wish she|d only go for being an actress and sing short rehearsals within the movie only, she had serious vocalchord issues, but I know that singing gave her strength.
