Ppl whove actually met mariah have said shes VERY down to earth and funny, the “diva” personality she portrays is literally for jokes, shes said so many times yet ppl still like believing its her true personality😭. If she WAS an actual diva and petty then her background singers from 30+ years ago when she debuted wouldnt be still working with her, shes VERY close to them and her crew. Also in that whitney clip talking abt mariah, they didnt know eachother, so it wasnt rlly shade, 8 years after that clip tho, when they collabed on a song, they became INCREDIBLY close friends and always talked good abt eachother and on the phone, so it amazes me how ppl think mariah is such a horrible person and whitney is an angel when they were literally the best of friends😭.

In interviews shes been shady to people who come for her but I think she's diva-ish. Shes an amazing artist and singer. Shes been in the industry for a long time. If anything, I think her being married to Tommy Mottola probably made her stronger because he was controlling and abusive towards her.
