Whitstable's Hidden River 

This film was made as part of Our Stour's Rivers in Focus programme. The Gorrell Stream flows from its source near Duncan Down to Whitstable Harbour, but does so largely unseen. As Whitstable grew during the 20th century, this once open waterway was closed over and imprisoned beneath the concrete of Stream Walk and other footpaths and streets. This film documents a guided walk in April 2018 that followed the original course of the stream and explored its history.
