My how you have grown even since 2016. It is educational for me to see how you have progressed so much in your work, and your videos. I especially enjoyed watching how this project wasn't a cookie cutter project and you were making changes and decisions on the fly.
cutting out projects on a band saw are not cookie cutter projects ...you still have to create the figure and the out look ...if you do a figure out of a block of wood ,,you just have to remove the wood the band saw takes off ..same thing
@@whittler0507 Sorry if I struck a nerve. I was only commenting on the fact that this was more of a picked up a piece of wood, and this is how I carved it.
@@seniorchief48 No you didnt strike a nerve ..It didnt up set me ..I was just saying that band saw cut outs are a great way to remove in necessary wood ..sorry if it seemed I was upset
First time watcher here. Found your channel via Doug Linker. I think I will enjoy your videos for some time to come. If I could make a suggestion; you might consider organizing your videos into more navigable sections. Not sure how many you have, but it looks to be several hundred. Scrolling through them all takes a very long time now. Organizing them into sections such as 'scenes', 'animals', 'biblical matter', etc would be much more user friendly.
Buddy. I love these carving videos, but do you get high first? Cuz you hardly finish your sentences and then you start talking about something else! All in all though, I love it.
Never used the stuff..when you are carving ..you are concentrating on the piece all the time and watching your cuts ..your thoughts can be interrupted when you see something you need to do to the piece
