For the OUAT fans: I have many MANY more OUAT theories coming, don't worry. Try sharing these with the OUAT online community, I'm trying to keep this show alive, and maybe I'll post monthly or 2-monthly videos on OUAT theories I have, so people don't let this extremely detailed show fade into obscurity in the coming years.
Can we please acknowledge the fact that the Blue Fairy is officially the worst character on the show? There was nothing saying that she had to share Rumple's destiny with Fiona when he was born. And it is likely she would've been able to predict the outcome. The Blue Fairy created who knows how many villains for what purpose? To save one kingdom from ONE Evil Queen? Can someone help me out? Does anyone agree that she didn't have to share this with Fiona? If it's a prophecy/destiny for a character, it will happen regardless of what people do. So why share it?
Yes thank you so much I miss this show! While I know season 8 might have their difficulties, I would love to see one! (I know that 7 was the last but...)
Jessica Rishel that’s not true, there was a scene when rumple was born and you could see that they were basically a perfect family until fiona found out that rumple was the savior, that’s when everything went downhill
@@olicityfan1150 Cora was a Miller's daughter . She met Prince Jonathan & thought he was a prince .. then soon met Prince Leopold & got engaged . Then got kicked out of Leopold's castle after Eva snitched .. so she went back to being a miller & met Rumple . He taught her how to spin gold & her reward was to be married to Prince Henry .. she left Rumple , took her heart out & became queen & had Regina ... Then she got banished from Regina's castle to Wonderland & become the queen of hearts .. then she left wonderland , came to Storybrooke to get Regina back on her side.... Then Snow killed her.. she went to the underworld & was the queen of the underworld I guess .. but Hades got mad at her & turned her back into a milling slave .. then Hook set her free & she did what she had to do to help her daughter's & moved on 😂
@@Queenhaylihill which Cinderella because like no to both Cinderella’s but I’m pretty sure she is closer in age to S7 Ella and like 10ish years older than S1 Ella
Emma is not the same age as belle at all? What?! Belle is at least 30 or 40 years older than Emma. Remember Emma wasn't born until 1983. Belle was around. She was already established.
I love that someone is still talking about OUAT beacuse it's one of my favourite series EVER, the characters, the story, the plots, everything about it is just amazing.
Only I who thought that Nyx was pretty creepy but extremely cool also ? So top 3 oldest beings in OUAT was if I understood it correctly 1. Nyx 2. The Greek gods 3. Gothel ? Loved this video ❤️🙌
Yeah ik😂 Ngl I thought Merlin was gonna be the oldest🤣🤣 I just completely forgot about the Greek gods Also the part about mother gothel confused the heck out of me😂
I think the writers intended for the blue fairy to BE the main villain She is so shady!!! I remember There was a promotional poster with her and it Said "believe that evil can BE sneaky" make a theory on how She could be the main antagonist!!!
I just rewatched the entire series and you are sooooo right! She really does some questionable things. I'll have to watch it again with this in mind, see if I can come up with my own theory 😏
@@jazmatik1 Thank you! That's really awesome! Yeah, Blue is a shady one, I have 100% no doubt that the writers wanted to follow a much different path for the show, with Blue being the "darkest" villain in the end. But, alas, enter captain swan and all that idiotic teen drama that killed the dark vibe this show once had. Don't get me wrong, I kept being a loyal fan to Once, it's delightful.
Water. He said the one magical thing would be water something to the effect that all cultures view it as the source of and sustainer of all life. It's when he took Emma to the well for the "drink" he promised her in exchange for what was in his bag/case 😉
The New enchanted forest didn't make Henry age. Henry traveled for years while in storybrooke not much time has passed. Prince Neal is the only one that bugs me with the time line.
Henry did age when he went back to the enchanted forest .. the time flow in the enchanted Forest is faster than the time Storybrooke .... But if you meant that Henry didn't age (from the wish realm) then it's because Gothel's curse went back in time (back to Henry's teen years) . So in the other realm , Henry was still a teen .
You know I really really loved it first but it felt like in the later seasons that they didn't respect the characters and continually had characters make choices just for the sake of plot that the character clearly wouldn't make. Had to stop watching around the Peter Pan era
@lucid nope. Short answer: The gods. He (Theorizer) have also already answered that question in this video: Nyx. Nyx is a primordial goddess in Greek myth
Have you heard of the Chronological Once project? Someone edited most of the series into one big chronological project that starts off with Merlin and ends at the season 6 finale. Might be useful to you although it’s not "complete" (no mention of Ouat in Wonderland or Season 7, sadly)
Thank you for making the effort of keeping this amazing show alive. I loved it from start to finnish and even hooked some people into it along the way.
Neal was born before Rumple became to Dark One. Therefore, his age is closer to Rumple. If Rumple is 300 years old, then I would place Bae's between 250 and 270.
@@janemarie270 That would about right it was the early , 1800 , when bae met Wendy and brother ; remember they spend a lot in never land , where never age.
You forget about Captain Hook in your recall off old characters. The show doesn't say how long he had been traveling to Neverland before he met Mila. Clearly not the oldest character of the show but one of the older full time cast members
since the gods exist in all realms than they could have easily remade humanity in a much shorter amount of time than evolution would normally allow, and they have their own source of magic that is unaffected by whatever land there in, so it makes sense it would only take a few thousand years for humanity to bounce back, if the gods made the first batch why wouldn't they make a second one.
Yes! Finally! I have been waiting for you to make new videos of OUAT, and it’s also nice to hear that you didn’t give up on the timeline situation after not saying anything about it for a while😁😄
I didn't like that after barely 200 or so years of being the Dark One, Rumple's heart gave out because it could no longer handle the darkness. Becoming the Dark One is supposed to immortalize you, so long as nobody kills you with the dagger and becomes the next Dark One, but apparently, after barely a few centuries the darkness gets sick of one host and just...leaves. That annoyed me a lot. But it also begs the question: was Fiona more powerful than Rumple, given that her power allowed her to exist easily a thousand times longer than he was able to?
I think you should do a Mad Hatter video since that’s one character that didn’t get enough love on the show and I would be very interested to find out what happened to his wife
Once Upon a Time was the show for me that drew my interest because I love the fantasy genre and the old Disney cartoons and the classic Grimm fairytales, so having a series that brings all that together while also doing it's own thing was perfect. The twist and turns were everywhere and all very intruiging. Only with season 7 I felt that they missed a few good things they could've done to make things more intense and I think that that has all to do with the fact that halfway through, the series decided to build up to it's ending, rather than continuing with the original plans it probably had for season 7. I definitely love to offer my ideas for what they could've done differently, in case you're interested.
Have you considered making a theory about Person of Interest? It was a show that ended in 2016 and right now it's my favorite. (Maybe something about the Machine or Samaritan)
It's funny you say that. I just finished Breaking Bad, and I've been looking for a new show, but I've been looking for something that includes the perfect intersection of: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Supernatural, Drama, and Mystery. "LOST" was the epitome of this, but the shows "Once Upon a Time", "Resurrection", "Supernatural", "Stranger Things", and to some extent even "The 100", all near-excellently filled this gap as well. Just yesterday I started "Fringe", and on my list was also "Person of Interest" and "Alias". I'll probably get around to them :D
Yes, Tartarus does imbody the hole Tartarus, so Tartarus is older. There is also Gia, literal earth and the chunk of land that is earth. Chaos (the literal sky and space) and Gia fell in love, producing off spring. There was titans, and the Cyclopes. Chaos throws the Cyclopes into Tartarus, so Tartarus is either, older than Gia, or the first son Chaos and Gia had. A little knowledge for ya from a Greek geek.
Gaia fell in love with Ouranos not Chaos, Chaos created both Gaia and Ouranos, and it just sort of went from there... I know, I'm a greek mythology nerd.
Michelle Stargaryen planning to rewatch it this august as I do every year and I did it for every new season too 😫 this is gonna be my first year rewatching with it being over
But isn't Gaia (Nyx' older sister) renamed "Mother Flora/Mother Earth" in season 7? She's Mother Earth, the personification of nature, and the mother of Gothel, Yarrow and about ten other nymphs.
"Nyx the personification of night" This sentence somehow triggered memories I didnt know I had from that weird book series "House of Night" (at least I think thats what it was called, it was abt like vampires and they had magical face tattos and power over elements or something?) Anyway the author used that phrase so damn often😂
It's a fantasy/mystery/drama/borderline-scifi/supernatural. If you've seen LOST, OUAT is the natural viewing progression, it has an almost identical episode style and pattern.
I've literally only seen on clip from Once Upon A Time (when I was maybe 9), but ya boi needs his support and views. I watched the video in full and was confused, but it was 365,000,000 years well spent.
I wonder what the people behind this show will do next?I wonder if they’re going to make a fairy tale thing like this because I heard a rumor that the people behind the show we’re going to do a Disney villain TV series is going to be called the book of prophecy’s which will have a Once upon a time feel to it but it’s going to be about the Disney villains. To be honest I was really hoping that ABC would do a incredible and a Skyhigh TV series No that Once upon a time is over. But I like the Disney villain to maybe they can do a solo TV series for maleficent and the queen of hearts.
Whilst I didn't dislike season 7, it mildly annoys me because the timeline is such a mess that you can't realistically ever make any more seasons or content for once upon a time that occur after this season. That and with the merging of realms you can't have the whole dual story telling component either. It was a good concept for a fresh start but I think the concept broke somewhere down the line XD
Thank you so much for that, this is sooo interesting! I really cannot wait to see new ouat videos! This show will always live in my life so it truly makes me happy to see other people enjoying it as much :) ! I will share it for sure ;)
Ik you’re probably totally done with coraline but I am watching it and thought of a question, how did the Beldam know Coraline had moved into the pink palace in the first place? Can she tell the future? And when does the opening scene of her making Coraline’s doll take place? Before or after Coraline moves in? As well as this, how does the beldam see through the button eyes?
The first three seasons of OUAT were about my favorite on TV ever, and then it went way down hill. I really liked the season finale of the main storyline, but when the retcon season came out, I lost interest.
Yeah, I thought season one was good, season two and three were phenomenal, and seasons four and five were slightly less so, though it ended great. Season seven was a weird epilogue, and the spinoff was a whole different story entirely.
The firey pit in hades underworld has to be an opening to the phlegethon river. Not the river acheron. This river is one of the few ways into and out of tarterus in the Greek underworld
We need a show about those old characters!!! We need more answers and info about Nyx and Gothel and how Pan and Fiona met cause she was a fairy and he was a normal man when they did..
Honestly, I never got into the OUAT in Wonderland, even though Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite Disney movies xD I can agree with your theory of course, It became confirmed when you watch I believe season 2 or 3 that the well has magical water in it which is what powers up Story Brook Main in the first place (or so Rumple and Regina say) So it became a bit obvious after season 6 what was really going on. Wasnt huge on that last season, didnt make much sense to me that they felt the need to make that last season but hey, some people actually liked it xD
I’m not sure I would say the Pantheon is older than Gothel, but Nyx makes sense. Side note: I, myself, consider Ursula to be OUaT’s analogue to Primordial sea goddess Thalassa. Also, using WL music in the intro? Not fair.
Thank you so much for the new ouat cuz I’m rewatching for the 10th time (im not even joking(i have a problem)) and I feel that no one really talks about ouat anymore
I just rewatched for the the 3rd and my daughter thought it was a bit much 😂 Looks like I have some catching up to do because you have me beat 😉 It really is a great show 💙
You know, I realized that technically Rumple is older than Pan. Time doesn't progress the same in The Echanted Forest and Neverland. Rumple spent 300 years looking for Baelfire, yet for Baelfire it only has been 100 years since he was separated from his father. Baelfire mentioned that if he hadn't went to Neverland, he would be 100 years old by now (physically of course, basically he'd be dead). The Darlings mentions that Pan has been keeping their sister prisoner and them alive for over 100 years. Also you said he was about 200 to 300 years old when the show ended, but you are wrong. It was officially said in an interview that Rumple was 300 by the time of the First Curse, therefore if we count his time with Belle in the Edge Of Realms, We can safely assume that he is about 350-370 by the end of the show.
You're right, Rumple is much older, but you forgot a few years. How old was Rumple when he lost Bae? Maybe 40 (he hadn't been The Dark One that long then)? Okay, 300 years of finding Baelfire. Then 28 years of the dark curse. Will Belle get pregnant right away? I think a few more years will pass...😉then, when Gideon is 18, Rumple and Belle go to the Edge of Realms. At this point Rumple is almost 400 years old. How many more years did he live there with Belle? How much time passed before the curse brought him and the others to Seattle? I can't answer those questions, but by the end of the show, he's significantly older than 400 years. I think I heard somewhere that he was even 500 years old, but I could be wrong.
I love OUAT so much. But I have never seen season 7 because they rebooted the characters and killed off characters that I loved. Season 6 ending with the feast, will be my favorite ending. But many people have liked season 7, so I don’t know if I should watch.
you SHOULD, but maybe think of it as more like a spin-off rather than the actual show. it's definitely different from s1-6, but i loved it anyway. kinda like the next generation with some old characters.
Great video! My first guess was Merlin or the blue fairy seeing she was already the head fairy when the black fairy gave birth but I totally forgot about Greek mythology. I haven’t see ouat in wonderland either so it’s nice to see I ca n still learn a lot about the show
This is to The Theorizer when you mentioned Magic you caught my attention. I would LOVE to know more than I need to know about magic. I am more specifically interested in Black magic and darker Magic.
That's my next theory :) The "New Enchanted Forest" from S7 has time that goes very fast, it's not the same rate as the main worlds. As for the Wish Realm's past with the "New Enchanted Forest" (like Alice/Wish Hook), that's where it gets confusing. I try explaining it in the upcoming video, but the most likely explanation, is that the INSTANT the Wish Realm was created, the entire fabric of the OUAT multiverse was ripped apart and all of the other universes changed to accommodate for this alternate timeline. Alice, and all other things in the New EF that were CAUSED by the Wish Realm, probably didn't even exist before 2016 when the Wish Realm was created. It's like a universe that suddenly woke up and butterflied into all realities slightly. The other question, is how Alice is so old if she was born in the New EF, which has weird time? Well, it's because her age is used in relation to Wish Hook, who was hopping between universes and time rates. Confusing, I know, but everything else, like the "time travel curse" at the end of season seven, THAT'S what I explain in my next theory :D
The Acheron river is mostly just a passage to the underworld, the one you’re probably thinking of is Phlegethon and I’m assuming that the river of lost souls is Cocytus and I know the yellow river is Lethe
