Josh Allen is dramatically better than Lamar Jackson. Let’s keep it all the way 100, idc care about MVP’s, Lamar has more turnovers than td’s in the playoffs and has a losing record in the playoffs

Burrow and Allen have shown they can go toe to toe with Mahomes in the playoffs. Whether it's fair or not Lamar has not. He has consistently underachieved in the postseason.

Lamar is 1-1 against Allen in the regular season and 0-1 in the playoffs. Joe Flacco was the QB in 2018 when they are recording Lamar for a win. So Lamar is 1-2 against Allen

Excluding Mahomes, Josh Allen has the most TDs, most yards and most wins of any QB since 2020. He leads every category. You can mention the turnovers but they’re effectively irrelevant considering he has the most wins of any QB not named Mahomes. The turnovers haven’t been a real detriment to his team’s success.

Burrow was about to go to back to back super bowls lol. Ravens have had super teams with Lamar and he can’t do it. He’s a great qb but his mind is elsewhere during the playoffs where it matters most.

Lamar is 2-2 against Josh Allen including a playoff game. He is 2-1 regular season and 0-1 post season. Allen has far more pass and rush TDs and 7,000 more passing yards and has more post season wins, including one against Lamar.

It’s Allen, Burrow, Lamar in that order. If Burrow stays healthy and goes back to the playoffs and wins, that changes things.

last year's MVP was week af. you look at Jackson's numbers and it's nothing that would look like a normal MVP season. he wasn't even in the MVP conversation until like, week 10 and then he had two good games and somehow one MVP off of that. and the caller said that Jackson has a better win percentage over Allen and Burro but neglects the fact that he has a much better team than the bills. without Allen, the bills have nothing. The Ravens could still win with Tyler hutley behind center

Now, I’m a die-hard Bengals fan, and at this moment in time I do think that Lamar Jackson is the 2nd best QB in the NFL. I’m impress with Lamar’s overall talent and greatness. But just as there are questions about Burrow’s durability (which is fine), there are questions about Jackson’s clutchness in a game’s critical moments (which is fine, too). Burrow won the same amount of playoff games in the season AFTER his "Linsanity" run than Lamar has in his entire career, including wins against both the ravens and bills. Calling that a Linsanity run is just a pants on fire, smoking hot, bad take.

Brock Purdy has done everything that he's been asked to do except beat the best QB in the league.

One thing that people forget is when these QBs were drafted. Being the number 1 pick means you’re literally going to the worst team the year before. Imagine if Burrow was drafted to a team starting with a winning record with an established winning head coach? What Burrow has done for the Bengals I don’t think any of these QBs could have done.

We’re not talking about team accomplishments. We’re talking about individuals that play the QB position. While Mahomes is a great QB, Josh Allen is a great QB and a unicorn. When he’s on fire, defenses don’t have an answer. The postseason games in which Allen set fire, his performances were negated by other football departments. How Josh Allen hasn’t won an MVP with the kind of numbers he puts up blows my mind. The dude is incredible. History in the making.

Between Lamar, Josh, Burrow & Mahomes in the playoffs: Lamar is the only one to lose to all of them. The other three have between 1, 2 or all of them in the playoffs.

If all 5 of those QB's retired today, Pat Mahomes & Lamar Jackson both go to the HOF.

Saying Lamar has a winning record over Allen is just wrong. 1) Winning is not a quarterback stat, there are another 52 players on the roster as well as coaches who all need to perform to win. QB is the most important player but isn't solely responsible for all wins or losses. 2) Lamar doesn't even have a winning record against Allen. The Bills and Ravens are 2-2 since they were drafted, but Allen and Lamar didn't start the first game. Since then the Bills are 2-1 and have a playoff win over the Ravens. By every metric except INTs Allen is a much better passer than Lamar, and is overall more valuable for his offense. Allen has 4 straight seasons with over 4000 yards and 40 total TDs. Lamar has gone over 4000 total yards twice, never gone over 3700 yards passing, and had only 1 season with 40 total TDs. If you are a QB wins and playoff wins guy, you should prefer Allen. If you are a stats guy, you should prefer Allen. Lamar's MVPs are impressive. He deserved the first, but last season would have been considered Allen's 3rd worst. Idk how Lamar actually won it.

I’m almost positive Lamar does not have a winning record against Allen. They played during their rookie seasons but Allen came in relief of Nathan Peterman and threw like 6 passes in the 4th when the Ravens were up by several scores so that doesn’t count. The Ravens won in 2019 but the Bills won in the 2020 divisional round and in 2022. Might be missing one in there but Lamar most certainly doesn’t have a winning record against Allen.

None of the rest out-moxies Burrow. As far as win/loss record, football is a team sport. All of the great quarterbacks with high winning percentages played for great teams. This is my problem with guys like this, if you have to lie (which he did when he said Lamar has a winning record against Allen, which he doesn't, plus the .500 record they share deserves context. Such as Allen has beaten Lamar twice in a row, and in 1st 2 games in which Allen lost, the Bills were a bad team, yet Lamar team was jacked) to make your point, then your point probably isn't actually valid. If this guy wanted to argue about Lame over Stroud, that's cool. But Lamar isn't a better QUARTERBACK than Burrow or Allen, he just isn't. Lamar has NEVER even come close to having a 4,000 yard season, and had a single season of throwing for 30 or more TDs. All the other guys, except Stroud, have multiple. Oh and Lamar is a playoff choke artist. Lamar has been horrible in the playoffs, while every other QB, including Stroud has played very well in the playoffs. Lamar is a good QB, honestly 6 sounds about right. This guy doesn't actually have the argument he thinks he does. The argument around Lamar is absolutely stupid, it's either people ranking him to low or way too high. And both arguments are garbage. Well depends on what metric we are using. Numbers it’s Josh Allen Success its Joe Burrow Accolades it’s Lamar Jackson So depending on what metric you want to use it has to be one of these three guys no one else. Maybe we can throw Matthew Stafford in there because he literally just won a Super Bowl a couple years ago against Joe Burrow so he definitely fits the success argument.

In terms of pelts on the wall/on their resume, Lamar has the best career of the 3 so far. 2 time 1st team All Pro, 2 time MVP, 3 or 4 time Pro Bowler (which doesn't mean much anymore, but whatever). Lamar is the only as close to guaranteed HOFer of the 3 so far. All three do have injury concerns to me. Overall, Burrow has had the worst injury history with the ACL tear and the wrist injury, which apparently is an injury that one doctor said has never happened to any other QB in NFL history. But, of the three, Allen's play style most scares me as a possible cause for a shortening of his career. He runs like Cam, trying to truck and jump over guys. Lamar's better at getting out of bounds and getting down to avoid big hits. I wouldn't be surprised if Allen suffers a shoulder injury or two due to his running style. People will say Lamar's running is why he got hurt but both times, he was tackled inside the box while trying to throw the ball, where the majority of QB injuries happen. Has Lamar had shortcomings in the playoffs? Yes, but he's also gotten better every year. 2019, people wondered whether that offense could last over an entire season, he goes 14-2 with it. 2021, it was, could he come back when down by 7 points or more? Double digit comeback wins over the Chiefs, Colts and Vikings showed he can. 2023, can he win while passing more consistently in a new offense, answer is yes. The only question remaining is can he win in the playoffs? Obviously remains to be seen but he's gonna have the Ravens in a position to try and answer that question by the end of this season.

People still giving Burrow too much cred for that one playoff win against Mahomes. He lost the SB and lost the AFCCG rematch, yet folks tend to dismiss those because he beat Mahomes in one playoff game.

If you worry about pre-season power rankings you got too much time on your hands. The only ranking I care about happens after all the games are played and there is one eventual winner. Theses rankiings are a way to keep people engaged during the dull off-season that is it, they mean nothing.

Lamar hasn't done well in the playoffs. The greats are measured by championship and beating the champs.
