In my opinion there's a lot of food stereotypes. They think that every dish must be overloaded with condiments or sauces. They also like the taste of processed food. For example, someone will tend to add a lot of mayo in a simple lettuce, tomato and tuna salad instead of appreciating the taste of the main ingredients. I use a simple vinaigrette which enhances the taste of the main ingredients.
also big greasy overly loaded sandwiches are more social media...but then you are not showing sandwiches that people can have every day. I'd rather focus on less "cinematic" dishes but try to give people different ideas and something one can try at home
My favorite kind of sandwich is a soft roll, salami, a slice of cheese, and lettuce. I enjoy nothing more than a "dry" sandwich and "dry" pasta. It is a texture and taste thing for me.. I do not want something dripping in mayo, sauce, cheese, etc. 99.9% of the time! I love "dry" everything and have defended you and others in the comments section! I am only 25% italian but was born and raised in america and the way people treat their food disgusts me! I loved your message so much. Thank you for addressing this!
