Given it's commonplace for fairies to go out of their way to punish people who talk shit about fairies, it's strangely fitting for them to apply that logic to fairy tales, too. These movies are batshit insane and I love them dearly.

I'm not sure how many times I watched this movie and Sleepover Adventure. The movies where the Bratz are babies and kids are always so bizarre. 😭

As a french girly, I can say that the french accents they had were horrendous and totally inacurrate 😭

The Tweevils and Burdine were Yasmine’s/Cinderella’s step-family in the cartoon series when the Bratz was talking about the Cinderella book they read as toddlers

To be fair, the liberties this movie took with Cinderella really haven't been done by many other versions apparently..... I have to give credit where it's due.

Last year the wolf became a inside joke between my group at school because some of them were at my birthday party (including 2 younger siblings of mine) and while we were eating i wanted us to watch something so i threw this on my phone and the whole table was making jokes about how the wolf sounded like a child predator it was so fucking funny, and it ended spreading with everyone else at school and my bf woudnt let it die for the longest time since it disturbed our oldest friend, i think imma bring it back up😂 What makes it better is that half of the group didnt even know bratz until then💀💀

The step-sisters actually look like they came from the Goat Story films. Like it’s very funny how similar they look, and GS is really gross and adult, despite being PG-13.

this was the only bratz movie my sister and i watched religiously when we were kids. i didn’t realize how gross the wolf’s voice was until i watched it again not long ago, like it makes me so uncomfortable.

Have you considered watching the Bratz go to Paris? It’s not really a movie (it’s a compilation of 3 of the series episodes) but it’s honestly a good watch 😅

I love that the onion was comfortable enough to tell the evil stepmother that he was in a relationship with the prince. Very progressive of the writers to tackle toxic gay relationships all the way back in 2008

Nah, this one was tame compared to other bratz movies. I remember there was this slumberparty/sleep over one where they took turns telling scary stories and this super babies one where they (surprise surprise) are babies and get super powers, those felt like fever dreams

Rapunzel only sounds like a cool name to Americans who don't know what it means. It's a kind of cabbage, her name may as well be Broccoli. You might wonder why she has a name in common with a kind of cabbage, it actually makes sense in the original version of the story that most Americans don't know because we got the revised and censored versions. Short version, Rapunzel wasn't a princess, her parents were poor farmers, the dad stole cabbage from his neighbor to feed his pregnant wife, neighbor turned out to be a witch who found out he stole from her, gave him the choice between facing her wrath for stealing or giving up his daughter to her, he chose giving up daughter (tried to weasel out of it to no avail), then witch went to the tower she owned on the 2nd property she apparently had to raise the daughter she legal guardianship over.

Although I guess it’s because they already did it in the Cinderella episode of the main series. They could’ve even used Ciara and Diona from the Princess collection. Heck they could’ve used them in the ‘Cinderella’ episode of the main series, just to keep things fresh. Actually now that I think about it, even though the episode was cool, it was kind of pointless, some wet had this movie. They could’ve used the ‘Cinderella’ episode to promote the Princess line

I don’t know about you, but I still use the term wimp and wimpy. Also, Jade made good points on Snow White, but to be fair she might not be getting a paycheck but she’s getting shelter and protection so I guess it’s kind of a fair trade. Still don’t like the way they treat her though they’re so sexist! I let it slide a little bit because they know not what they do, because of the time period they live in. It doesn’t make it OK but they’re uneducated so it’s a little bit more understandable.
