16:27-16:36 That’s what I was thinking, this could’ve been the first time they made an appearance as kids. Although I guess it’s because they already did it in the Cinderella episode of the main series. They could’ve even used Ciara and Diona from the Princess collection. Heck they could’ve used them in the ‘Cinderella’ episode of the main series, just to keep things fresh. Actually now that I think about it, even though the episode was cool, it was kind of pointless, some wet had this movie. They could’ve used the ‘Cinderella’ episode to promote the Princess line
This movie set my brain chemistry as a kid. I watched it on repeat for years on vhs... today i find my work has influence behind it and it was completely unintentional, but its absolutely there. Also I am so gay for Eric... The Nutcracker Eric, not the human one. And high agree. Captain Candy and Major Mint are just funny lil husbands to me. I adore this movie 😭
The amount of wwe and and wrestlers talked about BY NAME always lead me to believe this was "the first step" in a relationship between Nick and wwe and it didnt work out and therefore got "forgotten about".
I was watching Battingtons new video “Horror Attraction” and it reminded me of Megan and Jades story but less gory and cursing. This got me nostalgic about the movie I watched as a kid.
If this aired on any other channel it would have been fine. But I feel like "rip your throat out" on Nick (at least then, haven't wated TV in years) at that time was a bit much. The sawing thing happening in the beginning? Proably made for some quickly "appalled" mothers. And it had some straight punches (even if they miss) It just seems like angry moms struck early on this one.
I am proud to say I remember seeing this back when it aired . I always wondered why I never saw it again. I mean Nickelodeon had a ton of spooky content. Do remember Are You Afraid of the Dark? Hey Arnold had some creepy episodes. Some of the other shows were kind of creepy. Not sure why this movie is an outlier. Remember Goosebumps.
My favourite part from this movie exactly was that the Nutcracker was ready to fight the Mouse King. "Sugar Plum Princess or no Sugar Plum Princess, that rat has got to be stopped!" And the way that he jumped on the balcony, he was ready to stand for him. "Is this anyway to run a kingdom, Mouse?" I think that was actually funny!😄🙂
I remember being a kid in the 2000s an episode of extreme makeovers where there was a family with a son who liked speed stacks, so the ENTIRE room was speed stack themed. I mean it. They went all out, down to every detail. The furniture looked like they were made out of speed stacks. I remember the desk and nightstand having legs that looked like stacked up cups. Even window blinds made out of cups where if you opened the blinds, the cups would stack up by getting pulled up with strings. It was unhinged, and I remember cringing so much as a kid when I saw it. It's one of those weirdly specific things you see as a child once in your life that stays in your mind forever because of how unhinged and weird it is. 😂 Having an entire room with the theme being one VERY specific thing like that is just...I don't know, unnerving to me. You know? That's like having an entire room that is completely rubik's cube or fidget spinner themed, down to every detail. Adding some speed stacks elements to your room is fine though, but this was just too far. I mean, it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but I don't know...I just don't like rooms like that for some reason.
If you ever want to do another bratz video there are two different Bratz movies that revolve around the girls finding a Genie. I remember watching them growing up and I think it was the only time Bratz ever made a direct sequel to one of their films.
