🤣🤣🤣 Oh Luke, the Baguette MP... 'Til anyone challenges this title, you Shall forever remain - at least in my mind, the Baguette King 🤴 👑 #Ilredellebaguette
Rockbros has low prices, sure, but the amazing creativity in design is the star feature. They consistently make products that are innovative and well designed.
@@ChinaCycling I think they've been under the radar for being "China" or "Amazon" brands. But the reviews have all been positive. Im glad you're working with them.
I've had a bunch of bags from various companies and I've ended up with Rockbros top tube bags on all my bikes. The quality is as good as bags that cost 3x or 4x the price and the design is honestly better.
I love rockbro’s their frontlight that has a gopro mount, my bike roofrack for my car, the mini handlebar bag, their ultra compact saddlebag i have used for gravelracing. They have some killer products. Im defo going to be making some reviews of those after some good use.
The 6L bikepacking bag they have is awesome. I lashed it with zip ties below the seat/between the rear rack on my e-bike. Perfectly fits my “always on the bike kit” (Fenttek inflator, multitool, kryptonite 912) and the buckle is fast to open so I can easily lock up and get on with my business.
I’ve used a bunch of RockBros stuff. That hidden cable lock has been sitting on my Amazon list for a while, along with some of their bags but I’ve got a Rhinowalk top tube bag right now that I really like.
i have used multiple Rockbros stuffs (bottle cage, toptube bag, snowboard glove, some mounting adapters), i trust that brand for the money to quality bang for the buck. besides bicycle stuff, they make outdoor stuffs too. Another outboor brand i have use and trust is Aonijie (my trail run gears)
I've got so much rockbros stuff. The only thing I want them to change is to add more colors for their bags. Hope to see rockbros sponsor a team or a gravel event someday.
I've bought rockbros stuff for years and I have to say it's pretty decent. Only one caveat...buy the dearer products not the cheaper version because they do make different grades.
The lock looks really clever and useful on solo rides to go in to buy a quick snack or take a pee, but my worry is it will rattle a great deal during rides.
I have a rock bros frame bag. It's the gray waterproof material one. I think I paid $20 for it a few years ago. It is literally the best quality piece of gear I own. It blows Blackburn bags out of the water. I wish they made a really small/sleek top tube bento bag to match it. I had to buy the Rhinowalk one and it's good but not as good quality as the rock bros frame bag
I think I know what ypu are talking about. User of black smaller bag here and I always wonder if those $80-150 bags are like 5 times better or buyers are just more generous.
Sipping on my Rockbros insulated water bottle while watching this video. It’s still has ice cubes after a 2 hour ride. Purchased it on JD (China’s Amazon).
A buddy of mine has this exact (green) top tube bag. It sits on the frame like its welded. It's sturdy and the webbing on the side is an excellent feature. A dealbraker for me, however, is lack of cable port in the front of the bag - almost all of the competitors have this feature and it's a must-have for me on the longer rides.
@@jamieokane989 I've not heard it, the cable is quite long so it goes quite a way in, over the other side of the bar - you've got to Alan key the secure black thing that you cant see (when it's screwed in) then insert the cable then screw in the lock section 👍
Brought a Rockbros light was fine for a year, then instantly combusted one evening burning my room and could of been quite easily my house. They paid for the damage just about, although not sure I would trust anything battery powered they make
Crazy. Batteries are pretty scary. The fact that even brands as big as Samsung can have phones exploding on airplanes is mind blowing. Can't live without them tho.
@@ChinaCyclingthat is true. You know what you're getting into with cheap batteries I guess now. The only thing I would say is they admitted to me it could happen. With knowing this would they not recall it?
I bought a Rockbros winter fleece jacket/jersey years ago and love the quality and materials. The only thing I didn't like was the logo "Rockbros", so I'm hoping they can implement their minimalist symbol logo vs Rockbros logo 😅 Keep up the good work in innovating Rockbros
I'm always about a good deal, but want some semblence of quality. Can never go wrong with RockBros. If there's a RockBros option among the value priced items I always go with them. Sometimes I just choose them because I know I'll be happy anyway.
I feel Rockbros is like a xiaomi, they sell almost anything, a good quality and affordable, until anything in the market named Rockbros and you kind a lost and start questioning "is this real Rockbros?" 😅
Have a Rockbros pannier for 3 years. They're bomb proof and I regularly load it with tools when I have a job in the city. Looking for pannier bag that converts to back pack (Laptop and tools 27 litre)
lol had a Rockbros Saddlebag which guaranteed being waterproof, but it constantly was drained wet…switched to conventional alternatives which has been 100% secure and even cheaper… so take care and test your stuff before usage in real world
Always have mixed feelings about RockBros. They do have some innovative and affordable bags. But so many of their other products seem to be rip off designs of others, or just a rebrand of the exact same item used by a variety of noname Chinese brands. That seems especially prevalent in their pedal, saddle and grip "deigns". Again, worth noting, probably around half of my bike bags are Rockbros and they have held up well enough for the money compared with my Ortlib and REI Co-Op bags. In bike bags, RockBros is definetly a goto for me, but other items no so much. Going to need to snag some of these new Fitgo secured bags. That locking method seems especially useful for handlebar and toptube bags. Snagging those asap. Undecided on framebag.
Unless foam bumpers are added on the front of the top tube bag, the bolt flanges for the stem will knock the bag to the side….annoyingly angled and hitting your knees when standing. Tubeless needs rapid access to plug kit whip holding the bike with one finger over the spurting hole….thats needed before tire levers. Cool lock, but is that key the old Kyoto design that could be hacked with the barrel of a Bic pen? Should try a simple cutting pliers on that cable.
I like their exclusive products. There are very innovative products among them. However many things that they sell are just white label overpriced products. If you search on a famous store, you can find the same thing costing half the price (or less) without their logo. The cable lock is an example. 60usd with their logo and 10usd without it.
Would love to get the two bottle cages, grey / orange tyre levers, however cannot find them anywhere in the UK.. i actually cannot find thoes specific cages anywhere online, can you link me?? They go perfect with my Black/Grey/Orange build. Thanks JOE!
Interesting background on the founder. I like their products, but they are not the cheapest these days. THey do have some quality assurance vs the cheapest generics.
You have to wait until the MTX a MIK patents to expire. Before manufacturers like Rockbros can make bags for it. Similar to how the DT Swiss ratchet hubs patents have now expired. Now you see many cheap ratchet style hubs from Chinese brands in the market. Since it’s now free to copy.
@@Randombourg wow ok that is a great deal if its good quality zip etc, i really like the vecro one but i put a piece of laminate on the top tube to stop it scratching the paint, i think paid about $20aud from what i assume is the rockbros store on AEx
i have (had) 4 rockbros bags - toptube bag: okish quality (ofc more money buys you better quality, its quite plasticy) - good enough to constantly live on my bike. framebag is the same quality. then i had 2 rear panniers - one of them broke after 2, 3 days of use. sent both back, got refund for one....
Its another bike brand that re-brand from the original maker. Try to make confusing brands like ZTTO, MEROCA, SAGMIT, RACEWORK, WEST BIKING, ROCKBROS, HASSNS, WEAPON, RAGUSA, SPEEDONE, MAXZONE, GUB, BOONDOCKS, etc. etc. correct me if im wrong please. Since they are all or most /some of them from the same factory or so you can expect the same quality and freedom to choose your prefered Logo design/colors etc.
...in the end, I never bought them, cause I don't like prominent logos on my stuff, especially on accessories. Often they use to many different materials and add too many extras, even on a small handlebar roll, for example, so they are too cluttered for my exquisite German taste. 🙄
Trying to buy from countries and companies that are not saying they want to oppose the west and that are not supporting war in Ukraine or threatening war with their neighbours. Rather buy a western product even if it costs a little more.
I like the philosophy, but I’m not sure I could unravel what every company supports. Nothing magical about ‘western’ companies - many of them espouse and support philosophies I’m opposed to. If it’s obvious, obnoxious and in-your-face, I’ll definitely take my money elsewhere, but…🤷♂️
Fair enough. But the guy owns a bicycle product store... is he really pretending to be a neutral reviewer? If so, how stupid would we have to be to believe it?
@@Xukaiwen2 I don't mind his own product placement, but draw the lin on a full on infomercial on behalf of someone else while pretending to talk about things he likes and thinks is cool.
This content is why I watch China Cycling. Joe has earned my trust, separating the good from the not so good Chinese products. He discloses his relationships with suppliers so I can apply as many grains of salt as I wish.
Ruin everything with the big logo on everything could increase sales by 80% taking that off. Everyone at that company thinks thats a good look? Seriously? Unbelievable....
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) There is nothing more important then getting right with the Creator, Jesus Christ. Those that refuse to come before him and repent with godly sorrow for sinning against him will stand before him in judgment and be cast into the lake of fire. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Heb 9:27) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
