Fat joe is so right, I'm a 39 year old woman and i love Em. I have 2 boys that listen to Em because they heard me playing Em in the house and they got to love him too.
@@iimpctmediaisabytch that's not any of your business what other rappers i play around my kids, but I'll explain i love Em as a story teller, so thats what i play around the house. Thanks for worrieg about my kids but they have a dad, so we are good.
Jay Z wasn’t bad on Renegade I actually thought it was one of his best verses but Eminem lyrically, cadence and delivery is on another level. One of the best songs of all time 💯🐐👌
One of the greatest things was his rhyme Eminem songs has very good rhymes and rhymes always catch attention that's one of the reason of Eminem's big fanbase
@@theindianking1099 Yeah definitely but it’s more than that it’s the structure of his verse his delivery his cadence and if you connect with some of the things he says and relate to him as a man
Yeah.... BUSTED 😂 But (for a moment excluding other genres) I'm exposing my boys to the biggest hits of LL cool J, Beasty boys, Run DMC, Dutch old school, Ice Cube, Body-count, de La Soul, Naughty by Nature, Tribe called quest, KRS and many more... Their favourites? Oldest son: Eminem NaughtybyNature Run-DMC Youngest: Body-count Osdorp losse (Dutch) Fat-Joe (lean back 😁)
@@Lekkah666 we expose ours to a wide variety of music and artist. But when you get to some, like Em or 2pac, run dmc you also got to explain their relevance, contribution and their story. It's great bonding time. Wu tang too, wow just so much.
At least we teaching them some facts though, the only lies we telling them is related to the Tooth Fairy, Santa etc. But Em being the GOAT now that’s real.
Found em when i was 13 I'm 35 now💪🏾💪🏾 still listening.. I'm not a 45yr old white male that teachers his kids about em.. Imma 35yr old black man teaching his kids about em 😂🤣 (@fat joe)
50 year old here and been listening to Em since his first album. My kids know him and my daughters 2 year old sings to him. I’m STILL to this day appreciating him more and more with each new album. This man is the epitome of rap despite his color, or that Hood folks don’t listen.
Because they are clueless to hip hop except for anything eminem puts out. The term Stan alone is a diss . They see he is white and feel like they can relate to him more. I am a huge eminem fan. One of my favorites but never call myself a fucking stan. Stan's worship anything he puts out even if it sucks
@@je6237 so if i hate basketball but watch only for lebron or michael jordan, that means they actually suck? weird logic you got there. If some people only check out Em, that is just a pro for Em, not a con. that means he can do something that even people who care nothing for the genre can find something to relate. how in the world is that a bad thing? and if you think its just Eminem skin color, he already addressed it: "20 million other white rappers emerge, but no matter how many fish in the sea, it'll be so empty without me!" And just to be clear, most Em fans also listen to other rapper and hip hop, they just think Em is better.
The fact Pun and Joe was waiting in line at tower records, at the midnight release of The Slim Shady LP after Pun had gone platinum and nominated for a grammy, speaks volumes for how much he likes Eminem, and has done even before the Dre deal. Theres a few interviews were he mentions that.
"since I'm in the position to talk to these kids and they listen I ain't no politician but I kick it with them a minute" come on man that was just the beginning🤨🤫
I love your reactions man, but pls stop saying that Eminem can’t lose bcoz his fans won’t let it happen, this fan base didn’t appear out of nowhere, it’s bcoz he has done something huge in HipHop and still doing so.
@@jmadz9054 bruh i been saying this!!! 😂 i think some actually like him but they know they have to exaggerate for these dumb fans to give them views and likes lol
If we can take the fans out of the equation and just have real lyricists judging we would still see Em hand raised. Nobody comes close to him technically
It's been kind of proven before. By a virtual simulation of a rap tournament. And there have been real rap tournaments between high profile artists. In both it ended with Em and Jay and Em and the Game respectively (mid 2000s). Em won both. Just like....how you gonna beat a guy who statistically is just going to beat everyone else
Dont be a sheep nd stop spreading non sense . I dont see those 'crazy ass stans' u talkin abt...? All I see is people appreciating Eminem givin him the love and respect he deserves especially when they see some bullshit being said and all the hate. So, if someone loves u, shldnt be provoked by some bullshit coming at u? For u its abt bars, for others its his legacy.
@@greymeg3064 Funny that I was about to make this exact type of comment. People talk about Stans too much. I don’t know anyone who is a giant Eminem fan who isn’t a fan of hip hop in general. At some point people just need to accept that Eminem has so many supporters because he’s just that good. It’s fine to appreciate and like other rappers more than him, but if you say he’s trash, knowledgeable people are going to defend him and get called Stans just for speaking the truth.
@@greymeg3064 bro im a stan, I know em gets pointless hate. Em is the🐐 AND ALSO we do have to accept that there are people that say some outlandish stuff
Em is dope and he does have a lot of fans who just love hip hop. But he does have a lot of cornballs in his stan army. And he knows that. In his song believe he says something something "Fake Fans that you're too two faceded to show or something like that
"I don't remember a single line Em said" Yea and I listened to that song on my way to uni for a whole year. I don't remember a single Jay Z line on it. Bitch please 🤣
@@RavyToor Also said something about "making music that thugs relate to, not you". That's the point. The dude in this video connects with Jay's verse. I connect with Em. Does that mean Jay was better? Hell No! Was he bodied? Hell to the No! But did Em do better? Yea! Yea he did.
I love how rappers come out on behalf of Em and make the distracks for the puny clout chasers now. He's the King who literally doesn't have to lift a finger. 🤣🤣🤣
Right, like look at the clout this dude has, he has all these reactions channels of him, and all these dudes are getting paid just by talking bout Em. Bruh who else can do that.
There’s something about that white boy! Yes! His use of the English language and use of vocabulary, rhyme, syllables, symbolism🔥 Eminem my Detroit home boy master writer-rapper extraordinaire!
Honestly tho listening to grown men say “I can’t relate to it therefore it’s not good” is so stupid like imagine being that limited like a child only watching something if it’s cartoons
I cant relate to oliver twist book, im not an orphan. I cant relate to the matrix movie, im not in a simulation. I cant relate to a song since its not about "specifically me". People who use this argument against Em have the maturity of a 3 year old. you don't have to be in a devestative relationship to know that 'love you more' is an emotional song, you don't have to have a daughter to relate to 'haley's song' is, you don't have to be a rapper to relate to 'till i collapse'. You should be able to listen to a song, and still relate to the emotions behind it.
@Christopher Sydneus im not against them not relating to it. Im against using that as an argument against Em's lyrical ability or storytelling. You dont have to relate to a story in order to know if its a good story or not.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your ability to be OBJECTIVE, like TRULY objective. Removing what you relate to, or what you think “bumps” the best and more importantly what you GREW UP with (which is usually what sticks the most even subconsciously) and analyze not only Eminem’s music but any song on its merits. It’s truly a rare thing to be able to do and I wish more people had that ability.
But he is right 100%. I found em when I was around 8 9 or 10. I am now 28. Listened to everything em has put out, mainstream, underground, fts, ect. Dude has over 350 songs. That doesnt include his fts on other tracks. He is more relevant now then anyone out there
I'm not white, I'm brown, iranian. But even though I do not let my children hear Em's songs just yet cause they're too young for all the cussing and damnation, but as soon as they're in the age of 14-15 I'm indoctrinating them with Em's words and that's only because he has IT ALL in masterclass rapping. Just as you mentioned flows, cadences, syllables, rhyme structures. When they are old enough I want them to know Andre 3000, Big Pun, Biggie, Bon Thugs, Lin Manuel, Harry Mack and yes definitely Eminem. So it's not a white thing.
@@ugbedeakoh4987 I just mentioned tracks that everyone knows... At the end of the day taste is subjective and we can argue all day...but in my opinion (and without taking anything from DMX who is one of my favourite artists of all time) if you put Em and DMX in a room with a pen and a pad...and throw them 10 random subjects that they need to spit about within 12 hours, Em will shred DMX in many aspects when it comes to the end product.
I'm a HUGE Eminem fan...and Busta Rhymes is in my top 2 for sure. I would put Em and then Busta, but that's because Busta kind of dropped off the scene for a minute. Em's discography is just too big man...it's like the Encyclopedia Britannica of rap *EDIT* I just have to add that when I first heard Busta's songs, I was blown away. He definitely has a swag and style of rapping that cannot and will not be matched. I would like to see some more reaction vids to Busta's songs too. I think he's fucking amazing
Em once said: "The Fans confuse their Favourite Rapper for the Best Rapper." Just because you "like or enjoy" a verse better - or can relate more to a certain or different verse - does not make that certain rapper better. That is the issue when it comes to determine who the best rapper is. Its about Skill, Technique, Flow, Cadence, Wordplay, Vocabulary, Rhyme, Rhyme Structure, Syllables, Verse Structure, Entendre/s, Storytelling, Metaphor, Homonyms and more. These are the Points / Skillpoints you compare with each rapper to determine who is the best rapper. on Renegade ? This is a simple and clear Point towards Eminem - Eyes closed decision with ease (still Jays Verse was fire. but Ems is untouched its that simple)
Fat Joe knows what he talking about he even admitted that he regrets not listening to Eminem's demo tapes (this was back in the day so yes it was tapes) and singing Eminem.
I love Em. I’m a 56 year old black woman. My son is 31 and I introduced him to 2pac, EM and R&B Artist too. Old school Lenny Williams, Earth Wind and Fire and Badu.
personally i think hes the best on rapping skill alone. hes the deffinition of what a MC is. idc what it is he raps about. its all about how he raps and controls his word placement, cadence and his ability to paint a picture. when u hear a song and see a movie in your head is when u are a true MC
brotha man.... you are sooooo on lock.. im so proud of the real/positive/powerful energy you are manifesting... Its always an honor to jive with your vibes. good man Kight. Good human being
I love this conversation. What it does more than anything is bring attention to the craft of hip hop and the art-form of rap music. I love Stevie Knight for this reason the most because he gives his everything to the people that leave nothing on the table. They give all they have to the people that appreciate it the most. Much love all around.
I think the stans are not the only reason the guy has dope ass lines and great creativity as well and I like that he thinks out of the box that’s what art is. Missing the humor of the early records though. He certainly has quite a die hard fan base that’s facts and I do think sometimes it’s been exaggerated but that’s what passion does right. I think that’s what music is all about at the end of the day so good for him ! I think he can body lots of guys because he’s dope and that’s facts too
I raised myself most of my childhood. And after one of my teachers played No Love by Eminem when I was around 11 or 12, I got instantly hooked. It was incredible. I was bullied a lot and he is the reason why I am here. So I did feel it when Joe said that the Stans would stop the world for Em. Hell yeah we would. He inspires! And it was through Em that I discovered the others. Sure I'm a bit biased because of my situation, but everyone with a deep connection to any artist will have a biase.
No no no we will never let him lose! I had stopped watching Eminem reactions until recently, thank you for doing a great job🔥Eminem is the 🐐 same song and dance is a good suggestion 👇🏽👇🏽
This was a great video. Loved hearing ems takes on FJ track. This took a crazy turn tho cuz it went from a versus to a jay is better then em on renegade and it dominated the convo cuz NORE isn’t willing to be objective. NORE mentality is how many ppl go across everything in life and it makes them not be able to see things objectively and have any open mind to things. It’s unfortunate.
Fun fact; I watched them do this song at the Detroit show. I was 5 months pregnant. Legit the home to home tour was THE BEST. Dre came, d12 came, bob came, and 50 came. 🔥
Also the interview Em does with Ice T is dope as fuck . The freestyle he drops at the beginning of the interview is insane. " How the fuck he got an Oscar, passed out in his red Mazda next to the Kmart plaza across from the red lobster, looking like the loc ness monster with his head in his pasta" . 🐐 ( I know I'm missing a line in there, but it's just crazy how he rhymes shit )
@@joshuagetty7841 Because he's humble asf😂 But Pac has nothing on Em. Especially since he didnt get the chance to do so. Biggie was AMAZING as a lyricist aswell, but also he wouldn't be able to win against Em, also he hasnt had the chance either.
Thank You!! Haters and lames always act like you have to relate to a rapper to love them... skills are skills you don't have to relate to recognize them. Mf's just have excuses when it comes to Em
Love your energy Stevie Em is the goat and your a Goat reactor love how real you are. I just love hearing positive energy when it comes to Em all this hate that he gets as a true fan brings me down but always makes my day when I hear you talk about him your amazing!!!! Sending you blessings.
@Hate RU-vid That was literally the corniest insult on Ether. And Hov bodied him on Supa Ugly, y'all Nas fanboys tend to ignore the existence of this track
@Hate RU-vid coming at Jay that way you’re not even doing what you think you’re doing. Insulting another man to bring up another man you’ll always lose on that.
@Hate RU-vid i think Nas won the Jay Z beef but who really won at the end of the day? Jay Z won the war Nas won the battle but Hov got off on Nas on a couple tracks
Man I'm an Em fan and it jus dawned on me why I rock with Em's new shit hard. Renegade is where I began to see these rhyming syllables, the crazy word choices and flow all sync up which is why his new stuff is fire af to me. It's just what draws my ear still after all the years.
Bruh🤣💯🙌love the reactions love the channel, we KNOW. Eminem is 🐏HOWEVER.... DMX has crazy fuckin' bangers bro frfr you need to do your due diligence and learn about DMX, he's sick asf💯🙌
That was eminems original verse from the first renegade with royce the 5'9"...he didn't change a thing..and then gave the song to jay-z...and still murdered Jay on the track!
To be fair to Jay-Z with Renegade, When Em wrote his verse he was originally doing the song with Royce so you know he went a little Harder on the Lyrics for that song than he normally would.
@@geoffnf9769 yes tf he would🤣 the only person in the hip hop history to be able to stand up to em on a versus would be pac since they both are the only hip hop artists EVER to have 2 diamond albums
@@erickdelgado3014 PAC was great, but he doesn’t have enough material to battle Em. Sales don’t matter in a Verzuz, it’s song against song and which is the better hit. You’re tryna tell me hit for hit you have Eminem beating Jay Z? I’d have Lil Wayne beating Eminem in a Verzuz too
