Great question. All the same information applies. You can use a CG-719S if the vessel is less than 200 GRT. For a vessel owned by a university you would need someone else to sign for your hours. If you're working as a Captain than the vessel manager or office staff that manages the vessel for the university would sign off. If you are working as anything but the Captain than the Captain can also sign off in addition to the vessel manager or office staff that manages the vessel for the university.
