Yes, proving that talent alone is not the only factor. You have to be able to bring it when it matters. So this is my argument for Brady as the GOAT. People arguing for Marino and Peyton simply overlook the clutch factor. Look, it's only human for most of us to do worse under pressure. Only a very, very few perform better in the biggest moments. If you only look at physical talent it's easy to lump QBs like Marino and Peyton in the same class as Brady and Montana. On just talent Marino and Peyton might even be better. But the ability to step up in the biggest moments is the most important asset for a NFL QB.

I always notice that everyone talks about why Dak and the Cowboys failed and forget to realize the 49ers just flat out succeeded and Brock and team just outplayed and outperformed them. Brock is consistent and seems to have, from day one, an ability to make super fast reads. He will just keep getting better and better.

And regardless of the QB injury in the NFC title game. You have yet to still shore up your RT side. It is still a weakness. And the entire league knows very well who has the best Oline AND best Dline. The game is won in the trenches. And i am confident that the 49rs will have a very diffixult time generating pressure on hurts unless they blitz. And Hurts is currently top 5 in passer rating, completion % against the blitz. The game is far more deeper then just seeing who the eagles/49rs beat on their schedule. It is personell details, scheme, coaching.

This win was because kyle shannon has found his quarterback. As a 49er fan, i can see kyle has finally opened up his offensive playbook. When jimmy G & others were running the offense 3rd & 13 was a draw play or screen to the rb , with Purdy he has actually been going for it. If Purdy coninues to perform well, kyle will open up more .

The Cowboys are my team, but they beat the brakes out of us. This is very embarrassing for an organization like this to put this type of product on the field. That's because the owner let the players do what they want to do while he's under minding the entire coaching staff. The owner/GM/Coach is always running his mouth like he's on the field putting more pressure on the team because he's bigger than the team. Jerry isnt going anywhere. If he passes his sons will take over as if they played the game and have actual football knowledge. If we don't like it, the best we can do is find another team. Other than that, it's going to be the same old Cowboys. Dak didn't pick himself. The front office did, and they've also drafted all of the guys this draft that aren't playing any meaningful snaps. This organization is a mess. Everything is bad, and with the injuries to starters, it's only gonna get worse.

And it doesn't matter what the front office chooses, Jerry has a symbol these rosters for the past 27 years with not one NFC Championship appearance. Good evening crew I could watch this whole show all day and some, and Lack Prescott , was definitely lacking in every aspect of the game from his mindset to whatever was left to do, plus the coaching was crazy too, the young people on this set is hilarious and serious all in the same time frame. Keep up the good football content as the cowboys plot continues I've been following the cowboys since the early '60s. I am soon to be 70 years old, I'm just saying looks like the window is closing. Cowboys inability to make plays & get the ball to the playmakers consistently causes them games. Every team that plays Dallas knows they have good players but they just can’t put anything together to win games you have Dak throwing pass to receivers that are running curls slants no play action no creativity no offense no rhythm. It’s plain & simple. which good teams like 49ers will make you look horrible

Yup I agree man. I watched the whole game and the offense had no creativity. Dak didn't play good but the play calling did him no favors. No motion, no play action, no run game. That and McCarthy is adamant that what he ran in Green Bay scheme wise will work in today's league. Slants, flats, curls all game is not a recipe for success. Get people moving on things like digs with a clear-out, crossers, aka SCHEME YOUR PLAYERS OPEN!!! So much predictability from their offense and it's frustrating to watch as a fan. I don't think they ran the ball under center more than 5 times or so, and they only ran ONE play action play out of an under center look. It's like the 49ers didn't even have to try. McCarthy either has to go or adapt to the new era of what an offense looks like. If McCarthy is gone after this season, look for someone like Ben Johnson from Detroit to come in and bring some of that creativity along with a Dan Campbell style culture.

I wouldn’t say the defense was missing, they did their job but when in the first half you lose the ToP battle to the tune of 75% to 25% then you can’t expect them to play too well.

Did you have this same answer when the niners played the eagles in the nfc champ. Because that was my exact answer. People were saying that the eagles exposed our defense. Well if you know we’re just going to run the ball 3 times out of 4, because we can’t throw with no qb, of course the defense is going to get busted, playing the whole game.

100% agreed. That coaching staff did not have them guys prepared. Their scheme looked flat on both sides of the ball. For the 9ers receivers to be as open as they were let's you know that the coaches did not have the right defense in place all week in practice to have those guys in the right positions to make plays
