Yeah, in the past couple years it seems like Cormier has become such a character. I think all his work on commentary and doing the ESPN stuff has really helped him come out of the shell and be more comfortable.

Such a good idea. Very few things on RU-vid I would be more interested in than sparring/rolling footage of guys like Khabib, Cain, Rockhold, DC, etc. I would almost be more interested in some hard sparring footage of those guys than of most fight nights. I know the footage exists bc I’ve seen brief clips on certain UFC promos of DC and Rockhold sparring, as well as DC and Cain.

@casual complaints He definitely can. It would be extremely hard but he could do it. Khabib has stellar back attacks and mounted triangles. If Tony can't keep him in guard then a submission is a real possibility for Khabib

@casual complaints Tony exposes his back during scrambles constantly. And has been passed by the better wrestlers he has fought. He is good at attacking and recover guard but the nature of his style outs him in bad positions quite often Also, Khabib specializes in takedowns that land him directly into dominant positions while avoiding the guard completely.

@casual complaints They aren't all cage TDs. Khabib's single leg series also avoids the guard. And all of those are center cage. Plus, everyone plans on keeping center cage with Khabib. It never works. I have mad respect for Bravo and Tony but nothing they do really shows me how they could stop Khabib from bringing the fight to the cage. And if Tony tries his imanari rolls then he is conceeding top position to Khabib in favor for a leg lock attempt (which Tony never ends up finishing). It just seems like a very poor gamble. It would be a much better bet to stick to his front headlock snap down attacks. I don't see Tony getting a TKO by anything other than a doctor stoppage. Khabib has great cardio and a granite chin. I see a late submission by either one of them. If not that then Khabib will win the decision.
