The thing with Shun is, hes not ready for a relationship. It seems like he's been through some hard stuff and if I was to guess, I think dai liking him so much puts him off, because he doesn't trust it. Because fundamentally, he doesn't believe that he is worthy of it (perhaps due to his past cruel relationship). That's not someone who is in a place to date. He needs good friends and time to learn to love himself and therapy couldn't hurt either. Otherwise he will keep coming accross as very 'push and pull'. And Dai doesn't deserve that. So no, I don't ship them. Sometimes the happy ending is when people focus on themselves and what is good for them. Shun won't make Dai happy. And Shun won't be happy either until he recovers from past trauma and learns to trust that he is worthy of love.

Give Shun a break people! He really likes Dai. He is just fearful of traveling down that same path with someone who seems to really like him just to be hurt, let down and left again! Remember too that he was abandoned as a baby! Grew up in only God knows what kind of environment! Been on his own since 18. Is 23 now with 3 failed relationships. Dai has probably experienced some things as well but he has family and his girls for love and support. Hopefully, if Dai really does care for Shun he will find a way to break down his defensive wall and they will grow in love together.

I’m reading all these comments supporting Dai and Shun, but as an actual living breathing man who likes men, lowkey these new 3 episodes are giving me red flags about their relationship and I was on Shun’s side completely until I watched these. Shun physically and emotionally pushing Dai away constantly whenever he tries to show him affection, but it’s only okay and allowed when Shun does it (and Dai literally said it’s messing with his feelings and hurting him) is just toxic. Especially that stuff he said about ‘I didn’t like it when he was being clingy, but I like him when he doesn’t show interest in me’ …. So you like it when he’s not dating you? What do you think he’s going to be like when you get into an actual relationship? He’s gonna be clingy and interested in you obviously, Like bro And that lighthouse picnic, just spying on Dai hanging out with the new guy and making Gensei and Ryota do it too was so miserable, he was acting like Dai has hurt him so much or cheated on him cuz he’s talking to someone else and being happy getting to know someone else. You have done nothing but push away his feelings and you didn’t even choose him to do the sleepover date with, obviously he’s going to take that as a sign that you’re no longer interested. Especially when you tell him you just want to be friends. Either learn to like him for who he is and actually treat him like you want to be with him (NOT in a toxic way) or just let him be happy with someone else and move on. This isn’t a silly goofy cutesy anime with fictional characters, this is real life involving real people’s emotions, that stuff isn’t cute, especially since Shun keeps making sly comments with other people then goes straight to acting so meek and vulnerable it’s… something. I don’t hate him at all, I just hope Shun gets a grip and doesn’t act like this the rest of the show, no matter what happens I want everyone to get a sweet ending low-key ((ALSO GIVE TAEHON MORE SCREENTIME PLEASEEEE😭😭))

From watching the show so far, I'm lowkey not the biggest fan of shun, I feel like he's playing in Dai's feeling with the back and forth on liking him, especially on the (!!THIS WILL BE A SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE MOST RECENT EPISODES!!!), most recent episode where he said "I think we should just be friends, I don't think we're compatible in that way" then proceeded to get angry at Dai for exploring other potential relationships in the house, like you don't wanna date him but you don't want others to date him either?
