Great choice. I had never heard this piece of music before Amira sang it... It's truly beautiful.. and tantalizingly short! I listened to it over and over after first hearing her sing it. I did look on RU-vid about it and listen to other performers sing it. The arrangement.. the music, the choir and the solo singer is obviously the way it was written. And Amira certainly did it justice. One of my favorite performances by her. The setting, the choir, the musicians, the lighting, even her dress, her stillness... Everything... And her voice... just spectacular. And whoever filmed it did a great job also and the sound person..
She performed this piece for her Christmas concert in 2020 when she was just 16. She just turned 19 on March 27. You commented on how effortless she sings. She is also an accomplished long distance cross country runner who runs 10K and 15K races. She was doing that at age 7 and 8. Her lung power is incredible. She sings a variety of music types besides opera but that is her main thing. You might enjoy this performance of "O Mio Babbino Caro" from 2014 when she had just turned 10. Yes, I see you have done several other reaction videos of Amira. Where did you get the idea she has been on The Voice? I certainly could be wrong, but I don't think that is correct.
@@johnojvind7641 I use to love Charlotte and I helped with her 15 million. I figure over performing lead to her decline. T"hat is why I am glad Amira's parents slowed her down. Aloud her to perform, but enjoy more of her childhood.
@@passqualecaiazza7728 Well, Amira is no saint, started out with an official boyfriend already at 16. Since they live without a father in a dysfunctional SA, she early felt she needed protection from a big guy.
