Been playing guitar since I was about 9.. had fallen into the trap of satisfaction, being further along than 98% of everyone around me.. so grateful for stumbling upon this guy.. I'm back to practicing daily and writing all the time. Thanks Blake

Well I’m glad Kid Rock gives his seal of approval. I don’t know if I’d be able to tell if this guy was any good or not without it.

Georgie porgie I was thinking of this yesterday, which made me come back to watch this video after a few months of not seeing it. Though Kid Rock may be a grade A loser, I think it’s still cool that Blake Mills hangs out with him and that Kid Rock recognizes his talent. I think it shows that Blake Mills sees eye to eye with someone that may be different than him, and the same with Kid Rock, and that they both have a mutual love for something that can bring two completely different people together which says something in and of itself.

"what's with all the weird stuff". And how to describe your music Mr. Rock? Blake's first album is great. Don't let anyone (especially Kid Rock) tell you otherwise!

It's all about context. I don't know Kid Rock, he may be a nice guy, whatever, just not someone who helps your music producer video job resume.

Hell yeah it is! I don't claim to be a fancy musical farmagician, per se, but my chicks and wee piglets have taken to the harpsichord and the steel drums in a way that will leave you uh...flabbergasted to say the least. It's all about each peculiarly inclined non human limb and limited movements of said limbs' capability to reach, scratch, spew, howl, crush, yarp or whatever it's heart finds in the incredible array of limited musical instruments one can afford to be completely ruined in a pen or stable or coop environment that your budget can tolerate.
@SGspecial84
@SGspecial84 6 лет назад
Kinda funny. Its admirable to see someone carve their own path and do what they truly love, and basically, he's made it. But when I look at Blake in this video, his tone, the look in his eyes, I'm not convinced he's actually happy. There's still that internal struggle present. Maybe thats what makes his music so heart felt. Maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about.
