This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the DC Comics character "Mister Miracle." From there being three different individuals to carry the title of Mister Miracle (Thaddeus Brown, Scott Free, and Shilo Norman), Scott Free being born as the son of Highfather the ruler of New Genesis, being traded as part of a peace agreement to live with Darkseid on Apokolips, escaping from that harsh life and fleeing to Earth-2 with his wife the Female Furies' Big Barda, learning to become the best escape artist ever from Thaddeus Brown and even taking his stage name of "Mister Miracle" after Brown's demise, masterfully wielding the "Alpha Effect" as a countermeasure to Darkseid's "Omega Effect," being a genius inventor of many "New god" technologies such as "Aero Discs" and a specialized "Mother Box," becoming an embodiment of the powerful "Anti-Life Equation," team-ups with the Justice League, to he and Big Barda later joining the Justice League International; Let's take a look at this DC superhero, and cosmic powered escape artist. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

For awhile I was under the impression that Kalibak was the son that got traded. I liked the idea that growing up on Apokalipse warped and mutated him while Orion grew up normal and handsome. The classic nurture vs nature but taken to a cosmic level. Oh well I guess it was Mr. Miracle all along.

@@TheRonaldvalerio according to the new Tom King run, it's implied that "Scott" and Orion were traded at just a couple days/weeks old before they really had names, or at least before they were important. It's possible that Highfather had already named Scott, but Scott mostly avoided Highfather due to resentment for his lifetime of suffering. By the time Highfather died Scott had never had the chance to ask Highfather about Scott's real name. So Scott basically doesn't have a real name; "Scott Free" is the slave name Granny invented to taunt him for all his attempts to escape, while "Mr. Miracle" is just a stage name he took from a dead guy he only knew for a couple days.

I thought the peace treaty between Darkseid and Highfather involved Orion and Calaback. (Excuse the spelling). You also mentioned that Mr Miracle has super human strength? Then why is he never written as that? He was just presented in his story arcs as a master level escape artist. The way you described him sounds liked he can give big blue a run for his money. Speaking of Barda, I think you should do a background video on her. Her story is very interesting. I can also recommend you do one on the Amazons too. Donna Troy and Wonder girl got amazing back stories to tell too. Thanks for the videos. You doing a great job.

However the has a great variety of superhuman abilities, including the physiology of the new gods (superhuman strength, speed, immortality and genius level intellect) more information in the page of dc comics
