Deimos is the NEW Villain that has been introudced in the Lore of Rainbow Six Siege. His goal is to eliminate the ENTIRE Unit, with the Director or Rainbow "Harry", being his first Victim. The question is now finding out WHO Deimos is!

He could be Logan Keller from R6 Vegas, if they wanted an existing character. Though, it'd be cooler if he was Bishop from Vegas 2, bc he/she is created character, which would mean the player is taking out Siege Operators. Cool little twist.

That is exactly what I said when they revealed him, it would be awesome to see characters from the Vegas coming back especially Logan or Bishop. Although I think Bishop makes more sense since he became the director and full leader of team Rainbow after Vegas 2 so it would make sense him saying "you disgraced MY UNIT harry"

Old school Rainbow fans that loved things like Vegas, Rogue Spear, etc. (I even still have my original N64 copy of R6)... Bishop could be an avatar for fans that thought the way I used to. "A group of apex killers and YOU turned them into the fucking icecapades". They have a chance to do something memorable for Rainbow fans of all ages.

I doubt it's Bishop for that exact reason, though when someone said "They made the community into a character" I guess it'd be even more accurate if it was. I'm betting Keller. He has a slight southern accent, Keller's from Louisiana.

I said this a while ago. It cant be bishop because hes the current rainbow directer and the old team (domingo chavez, price,dieter,louis) couldnt possibly be him do to age, position, and loyalty.

Problem is Bishop would never do this. Bishop already had to kill a traitor of Rainbow. There is no reason why he’d be a traitor himself. He sees Rainbow operatives as soldiers and comrades. Deimos does not, he outright calls his soldiers ‘Apex-Killers’. That’s not what Rainbow is about, at all. To call R6 operators Apex Killers is a huge insult to the operators, especially humanitarian like characters Doc, Lion, Montagne. It doesn’t make sense why he’d be Bishop.

I wonder if Deimos was part of operation patriot I know in ghost recon wildlands the crossover event with Rainbow six where we rescue caveira brother and at one point nomad mention “so you ever going to tell me about operation patriot” caveira got all angry about it asking how he knew that nomad says he had sources and asked around Heck caveira says she wouldn’t talked about even if she had knife to her throat I’m guessing most of them or at least all of them know about operation patriot or something

I could kinda see it being Nance from the book. He's apart of the group but wasn't one of the members. Being a chopper pilot he might of went down during combat and was left behind thinking he was dead. He was out of commission for years and taken in by some organization and watched the downfall in his eyes of rainbow.

Fun fact, Deimos revolver heavily resembles the raging bull, a real gun that was used Vegas 1 and 2 I personally think it’s supposed to be James Wolfe, the Six for R6 Patriots, essentially Siege’s old lore before it got scrapped and made siege instead.

I purley believe he is a former wolf from Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the way he dresses is very similar to what the wolves wore in the game, and the newer Ghost Recon games do include R6 crossovers, but I'm not sure if it he is a former wolf considering he say's 'they were feared in my time' and 'my unit' and the soldiers that he hired could actually be Sentinel, but thats just my theory.

Ghost Recon, Siege, and Splinter Cell are all interconnected I remember there being a r6 set of missions where Nomad’s Squad got roped in, also when one of the DLC’s dropped they also dropped a crossbow named, “Deismos’s Crossbow” correct me if I’m wrong but there should be some leads there. (Also I hope he’s apart of Wolves or something because it would be really cool to combine the universe’s again)

I belive one possibility is that James Wolfe is deimos, it could make some sense seeing as Wolfe was said to not care much about ethics, which this guy doesn't seem to either, after (possibly) killing 3-5 rainbow agents and harry himself and Wolfe's unit for Rainbow was essentially taken over by Aurelia and later Harry due to the reactivation.

while i agree it might not be a good idea to have the previous leaders of Rainbow be deimos, it would also be a "if you stare into the abyss long enough, the abyss will stare back" type of thing. but i feel like its more likely one of the original soldiers of team Rainbow and they would have much better understanding of how the team might work or how they might try to function now that harry is dead.

I think it would be interesting if this was James Wolfe, the leader of Rainbow from Patriots. if it ain't James it's probably Logan Keller. The reason why it would be ok if we have those two being Deimos is because they would have issues with how Rainbow has essencially become a spectical instead of a true force.

Deimos is the Recruit in Grimm's short tease. Just a theory. Also in the cinematic trailer they're not a "militia" but instead they're just a Biker gang maybe Bandit's rival biker gang. As for Deimos if he's not the Recruit in Grimm's video. Then maybe he's part of the Wolves because the Wolves are Ex-Military people. Also Demios said it was His unit. So makes me think he did have some sort of big role. Just a theory.

Deimos isn't wrong. I like siege but there's no way Rainbow is stronger than ever with a new extreme over reliance on tech, a huge focus on hyper individualism and with a schism between core rainbow members that joined a PMC. The logic of "Rainbow is stronger than ever and Deimos is wrong because Harry says so" is kind bullshit tbh. Rainbow used to run around stopping nuclear wars and terror attacks and now they do Scooby Doo mysteries that were a setup by Deimos in the first place. Where exactly does it make sense that Rainbow is stronger than ever? Obviously Ubisoft isn't going to do away with everything R6 is about now and go back to the Vegas and prior days but if Deimos is a nod to the community and he says Rainbow is weak and a dog and pony show then he's probably not wrong.

A member of the wolves could be a possibility but I doubt it. Clark or Chavez is also highly unlikely. The thought of it being Logan Keller or Bishop from the Vegas games could be. But leaning more on Bishop than Keller he does not seem the type to turn rogue. Either way we now get to see if what Harry said is true or false: Can they lead themselves and beat Deimos or will they fall without having some figurehead at the helm of Rainbow? Things are heating up that is for sure.

It would be cool if there was a Wolves connection, but GR breakpoint is supposed to take place in 2025 so while it's technically in the same timeline, it takes place in the future. Like he said, it'd probably be a new character with a new backstory explaining their connection to Rainbow.

Solid theorizing. One thing I hope they do not do in fighting Deimos is bring everyone back together into one big happy Rainbow family. While some former Rainbow folks may return to the fold in light of learning more about how Nighthaven operates, (and heck, maybe one or two more defect from Rainbow because they feel hamstrung by rules n policies and can't get the revenge against Deimos they want).... I still want them to exist and be strong competition for Rainbow just like how PCs are related to government military forces and be a thorn in each other's sides.

The Deimos james wolfe theory from patriots sounds plausible. He would have been the missing 6 in canon. He supposedly suspended ethics of rainbow to deal w the true patriots so he's a "by whatever means" kind of guy. Imagine after Rainbow is deactivated, he makes it his mission to remind the world why his style of rainbow was needed. He dawns a black mask, has his followers wear white masks. The White masks are why rainbow is reactivated so he succeeds in his objective and lets Rainbow "defeat" the white masks in 2020. Harry comes along as stadium arc begins "ice capades". Wolfe sees this as a disgrace and wants to eliminate this version of rainbow proving a hardened killer type like his in 2012 is the only kind to deal with these threats. If wolfe wins "soft" rainbow dies and a harder replacement would be necessary. He unmasks as deimos, takes position back as the newest 6. Queue Seige 2 announcement

The sould use siege to make links between r6, ghost recon and the division. They missed this opportunity with extraction to do link between the division. Maybe the could introduce this vilain as an old r6 operative, that have a mission in ghost recon or as a SHD agent and that turn enemy of it, like keener in division. It would be awesome to makes more direct links between those games and not just “skins”

Theory: he recruit who was downed in bombs game mode and they defused the bomb and no one helped him up so he was left there and was saved by defender who survived (for some reason he didn't kill him) by being healed by doc. He wanted REVEEEEEEENGE

@Vekuuh I actually didn't play a single round of ranked this season, I've been busy, and we have to talk about the fact that this is subjective to who you are better with, I don't play doc very often, and when I play with random people thunderbird ends up doing more for the team than doc. I forget that seige is a very deeply layered game with many different approaches to the same thing, I'll start playing him more. And are you talking about the 2x sight on the mp5 or the P90?
