Kipchoge can definitely do it. I think Bekele's 2 seconds shy to tie his world record fired him up more! 🔥 Hopefully both of them go head to head at Tokyo!!
@@christiankiertdelacruz8097 I do hope as well ! I believe he will achieve it. He has been giving me so much inspiration and motivation since many years. Bekele is also a legend. They need to compete next year ! ! !
The only problem with Bekele, is that he does not have a great marathon record. His ability as an athlete, makes him possibly the greatest there is, but he has never been a consistent marathon runner. You cannot say that with Kipchoge, he still remains the athlete to beat in the marathon, and there are a very small number of athletes capable of challenging him. Possibly Bekele has run his best marathon with his 2-01-41, but what a way to bow out of athletics. World Record holder in the 10k and 5k, and second fastest man alive for the marathon.
I think he is beyond just greatest marathoner, I believe his the greatest athlete of all time. I don’t think I know another athlete that has pushed themselves to do the impossible like he has.
Congratulations Eliud Kipchoge...you are a hero, unlimited potential...you have changed my thoughts way of thinking today...I can achieve anything I set my heart and mind too...you won for Kenya...selfless soul...may God give you more valour and power ....congratulations again....celebrating Kipchoge on Oct 12 2019.
Great video! Love this guy. Did anyone else see that the only time there were subtitles were when Eliud and his coach spoke? As if nobody else had an accent, of some sort, or as if Eliud and his coach were so difficult to understand. Hmmm, I wonder why...
I choose to believe they transcribed their words so that we totally get what they were saying, you know, for emphasis. That's how incredibly important they are.
He's probably like 60 years old doing this. It's amazing. Most 60 year olds would consider themselves past their prime on anything but this guy still breaks a world record and is probably going to go on to win marathons.
Björn Hammar maybe if bekele is injure free or younger then MAYBE yes but as of now, Eliud is the Top 1 pick for this. he’s humble and his mind is powerful
He actually dont say he is the only one, he actually a beliver of "no human is limited" meaning he wants peopls to bealive they can do it, if he can do it.
It was thought that Kipchoge was the only one capable of running sub 2 hours....Bekele may now have something to say about that !! Both awesome athletes in their own right.
Who is Eliud Kipchoge?? The greatest marathon runner of all time. Also, imo, the most humble runner of all time. He's such an inspiration, and I strive to be more like him. Not as fast, obviously, but more like him for sure
A marathon runner need very low body fat. Low body fat skinn make wrinkles, if you have fat in the skin, fat fill the wrinkles. You can se his forehead extreme wrinkles when he moves his eyebrows which means low body fat. Also he trained at elite level for 17 years. Long cardio sesions premature ages the body.
