My biggest question is how do they compare to BC racing Coilovers, Tein, and etc.. I’m just asking bc I’m taking a gander that someone is wondering the same.
🤘 While I generally prefer coil over, I do like the idea of air being highly adjustable. Go up to stock or near stock for bumps, drop it for that low experience. Floor it just 'cause you can. Still, I love a good clean static setup.
I had their coil overs on my old 94 B18B Integra, my Type 2s were on the firmer side. They helped me keep up on bends with a Porsche. Definitely recommend them.
What can you say about the damping? I seen some comments suggest the damping knob break giving them no clicks or too much clicks (up to 40+, when it’s only 32). Would really appreciate your feedback since I’m in the market for some coil overs.
I bought my S2K equipped with those on. I haven't had a problem and they feel good. Good video guys, keep up the good work. Just earned yourself a subscriber!
I have a set of Type 2’s in my integra. Its been 3 track days in and so far no problems with them they feel great but if you plan on tracking them you should get the spring upgrade kit for some stiffer rear springs. Other than that they’ve been perfect. Also for Daily driving they feel great!
@Anton Shurik I can adjust it lower, but I already got a ticket for having it too low lol so yeah the coils can be adjusted lower than when they're from the box
I recommend them I run type 2s on an Em2 Civic and it was a day and night difference and the installation was so easy if I do have a complaint is the rear bump stops on mine straight up exploded but other than that they’re great
@@Archon_ATYR make sure you get upgraded springs or learn how to mess with the preload. My car definitely handles better but with the standard springs (and being as low as I am) it still has a noticeable bit of body roll and more bounce in the ride than I'd like.
I had a set of FF type 2’s on my h22 eg back in 2014. Great entry level coilovers .I’ve had BC, Feals, Tein since then and I still keep my option that the Functions and form’s are a good entry level, nice riding coilovers
I just got my first car for my 19th , a 2017 Subaru Impreza and everytime I watch You guys speak about the give away part of me dies in tears cause that would have been perfect for the car, but I don’t have enough money for merch😭😭😭
Just lowered my JSW TDI on 2” drop springs by Neuspeed and paired it with Bilstein race struts and I absolutely love it. Should’ve done coils, but the price was right and I have no regrets
My first mod for my daily 94 Honda Civic was the FF Type 1s to replace the stock coil over that been with the car for 220,000 miles. Bought it for a steal and satisfy my needs for my car 🤙🏼
egb18 swap just put in type 1's, After installation with new lca's & a subframe brace PEOPLE they are WORTH It !!! Thank you Function + Form. Will do front rear camber, toe kit meanwhile happy to find qualify at fair price 696 out the door
I run the function and form type 2’s on my 98 gsr/ type r dc2 along with some massive sway bars front and rear and a traction bar in front and all energy solid bushings and skunk2 camber kits and truhart lower control arms front and type r in the rear and power stop slotted and drilled rotors with ceramic brake pads and 4 piston calipers I would say that my car is a beast
@@edwinc201 absolutely great. They are three years old. Went through a wreck that totaled the teal cb7 in my pic. Went on a ex coupe Went through the nastiest snow storm we've gotten in tn (jumped the car off a snow bank) and now they are on a white sedan. Not as stiff as when I first got them but the same as when I made the original comment
So maybe you guys can help I just bought a 1991 Nissan Cima type 2 with factory air suspension, I need to replace the factory airshocks but can't find any info on the car
Good ass review, got an 05 IS300 and I'm looking at way too many damn options.... TYPE2's look like a winner... I have WILLOWS RACEWAY NEAR me in NORCAL, Wanna test this on a track.
I have a set of ff 2 coilovers and wanted to know if i can purchase single coilovers or just the shock because someone put a huge pothole in my way and i blew the front passenger side rides like crap now i bought them here on fitment industries if I cant find replacement part ill have to replace all four probably go with airlift next if i cant find a way to fix it can anyone help me with this problem
If your looking for a smooth ride then you’ll want just regular OEM shocks from any auto store. You unfortunately can’t get good handling and a smooth ride. It’s one or the other
Would the coil overs and other stuff in the contest work on a 65' to 68' mustang? Lol one with custom strut towers and a 4 link rear suspension 😅🤣 and a turbo barra engine and CD009 swap 👀
