So beautiful 😭 ♥️ 🙌🏻 My grandma was 94 when she passed last year with dementia. She forgot each of us, but she could be heard praying and calling out to Jesus for help. She loved having hymns played in her room and Scripture read to her. Christ lived within her; that was made incredibly clear. He was her very life. And now she is with Him, her blessed Redeemer ❤

God said everything else will pass away.. but his word will remain.. Jesus is that Word.

My grandfather stayed at home with my grandmother through this dementia. He forgot everyone but her and God. The morning he died, he woke up and told my grandmother that he wanted to go home to Jesus. They prayed together for 2 hours and then he passed in her arms. I will never forget the strength of his faith in God and his love for my grandmother.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God.

May I be found as faithful as She! Home has never sounded so Sweet!

I'm crying!! It shows that once u know him, No one will never forget the love u have for him, and he loves u!! And will be taking home FOREVER!!!

I work in a nursing home. Many residents don’t remember much, but every single one of them says the Lords Prayer with me as I’m tucking them in at night 😊

My grandma had dementia, and didnt remember who we were, but she never stopped singing and speaking about Gods love for all of us. When she was going home I asked her to stay with us, she said NO!!! Even when we feel alone, with Christ we are never alone! This is such a powerful example of “He lives in me!” He is with her always! Thank you Jesus that your Word is TRUE! Amen!!!

Just like my mom today. It's amazing. She can't remember my name, she knows I'm her oldest child but not my name. You ask her about Jesus: "He saved me and, Kelly, trust in him and he will give you the desires of your heart. Lean on him and NOT on your own understanding." Brings me to tears everyday!!! Absolutely. My father had late stage Dementia, but as soon as gospel music played…He would lift his hands in prayer and tears would roll down his cheeks and every now and then he would speak in tongues. God is 100% real. He has proved himself to me over and over again. He is my whole world and I love him and can’t wait to see him face to face.😍❤️🤗

My deceased husband had a severe traumatic brain injury that left him a quadriplegic with almost complete amnesia. He didn't know me and he could barely talk but he could quote scripture. ♥️

I had an uncle who had dementia and died at 91. He forgot everyone but Jesus Christ. He could recite long passages of scripture. God is great and worthy to be praised.

My aunt died from Alzheimers disease in 2009. She was 90 years old. She couldn't remember her children or grandchildren, but if you asked her about Jesus or sang church songs or quoted scripture to her, she knew all of it backward and forward. God will never let a disease make you forget Him. He wants you to know He will never leave or forsake you even down to your dying day, and your hair has turned gray. He is still with you. This is amazing!

Dementia might take your memories. But it can’t take what’s in your heart. Christ Jesus will never leave those who he has called.

I have a Dementia story...I bought my brother's Mother-in-law a set of Audio bible casettes in 1995 because she was blind. She told me that "those cassettes are my bread and butter." She developed dementia years later and I went to visit her in the nursing home. She did not remember me or my brother who had passed away quite some time ago. I kept trying to jog her memory and nothing clicked until I said "do you remember the Bible casettes that I gave to you on Christmas Eve?" Her face suddenly lit up and she said she remembered them and suddenly she remembered me too. It was a very special encounter. That's the last time I was able to see her before she passed. As the Bible says, God's Word never goes Void to but accomplishes that which it was sent out to do.

I suffered face and brain trauma before and during assault .The next day I woke up I couldn't remember who I was or where I was .But didn't forget there is a God .And When Jesus save my soul .

This is so amazing. My grandfather forgot everything in his last time but still he used to speak about Jesus and he knew everything in the Bible so accurately. Of course they're gonna remember about Jesus because he's the lover of our souls

Made me cry. My Mom had severe dementia, but she talked to Jesus ALL DAY LONG. She knew Him.

This happened my Grandma. She had had many strokes and couldn’t talk. I was talking to Jesus one night and asked Him if Grandma remembered Him because she had become like a 6 month old baby, on her back in a nursing home bed, peddling her legs. Her food had to be puréed before being fed to her. The next day I went to see her. I asked, “Gramma, do you remember Jesus?” And she said just as plain as day, “He’s my friend!” That was the last thing she ever said. She hadn’t spoken in years.

Jesus is in her soul and Spirit... Thank you Jesus... AMEN...

My great grandfather had dementia, on his last day on earth he gathered everyone together in the room snd asked them to sing his favorite gospel song, they sang and worshipped together as soon as they finished singing he took his last breath.

Same with my mom. She loved Jesus till her Dying day. She had dementia but Jesus was someone she talked to everyday

So true. I worked with dementia patients . One thing that I did see and hesrd was those that were christians never forgote jesus, the word, or songs everything else was a blur

Love this woman. I actually knew and lived with a woman/ daughter. The elder mother had full blown dementia and asked me where the bathroom was when she was 6/8 feet away from it. God took her home in September of 2021 🙏
