Since Blade is happening and we're already getting Morbius, I have a feeling it's time for Marvel vampires to see the light of day... figuratively speaking.
Which old legends in particular. I'm not saying you're wrong but there is a shit ton of contradictory Vampire Traditions out there. Far more in fact than the varying types of Vampire found in the pages of Marvel Comics. There is for example an African Vampire that does not venture forth during the day because if he does, the Vultures will recognise him as dead flesh and feast upon him.
Dracula is a very underrated and underused character for Marvel. He's a Badass and his armor and sword are as coo as it gets. Great Video, keep it up Sage
Dracula fought Silver Surfer to a stand still? A character that can eat stars and also a planet buster???? And defeated Dr Strange and face the Hulk in single combat? Nevermind Deadpool!!!! This version of Dracula is too amp for the MCU! That's why I like Marvel so much. They tend to go overboard with their characters!!!!! Regardless, Nice video.
Dracula has a lot of annoying powers which can be handy in a combat against most of the marvel heroes. Strange was defeated by his hypnosis for example. And I think he also has some weather control powers. Once he faced thor and they both tried to command the lightning to strike the other and nothing happened because they had equal control of the elements. But he is not as durable or powerful to face them clean. He has to resort to his dematerialization and his other powers to keep up with them. The fight with surfer was a standstill because surfer was mind controlled into fighting dracula and he wasn't fighting seriously. Dracula was standing tall when the fight stopped but if the fight continued and surfer was freed from the mind control dracula wouldn't stand a chance. Thor has beaten him with one lightning bolt before dracula ran away from thor.
everyone does :) There's a manga classics that was recent. Then of course castlevania/bloodstained (though I think bloodstained is an expy at some point). The batman vs dracula is a classic too. I also liked the infinite comic with deadpool, dracula's gauntlet. Let's not forget hotel transylvania 3 lol zinging. He needs a 10 as he's not just a marvel character. Public domain universe :)
Pure PIS!(although not as big as Tchalla vs Surfer). Readers had strong reaction after the writer wrote those issues. He tried to excuse himself by saying and I quote "Apocalypse is just a Mr.Fantastic on steroids". Harshly nullifying who Apocalypse is.
I have to say that this version of Dracula would be a great big bad for the next Dr. Strange movie and then if they wanted to really mess us up have Blade appear in it as well. As always great video New Sage, May GOD continue to bless you and your family brother in the name of JESUS CHRIST.
Yeah! Dracula could even be a main villain of a rebooted Blade trilogy. We just have to wait and see. Thanks again, bro! May God cause His face to, continually, shine upon you and yours! 😎👍
By now, you'd think I'd expect nothing but "awesome" from the New Sage. After every entry in his highly impressive series, I say "There's no way the New Sage can top this one!". Then, of course, he does. Superb installment, New Sage! An especially nice touch, giving Dracula's true historical background. Thanks for all the hard work that I'm sure goes into making this informative, and entertaining, series.
Marvel's Dracula looks so similar with Dmitri of Dark Stalkers from Japan's Arcade Game. But Marvel Dracula's power much stronger than Dmitri so if they will fight each other Marvel's vampire would be the winner.
Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet My favorite Deadpool story I've read so far. Awesome cameos and fight scenes that remind me of fight in Anchorman 2 Edit: Blade has, in recent comics, become an Avenger because they wanted his expertise to defeat some vampires
His story ia way more complicated likely to be appeared on comic books neither live action as part of the MCU release but he is so cool would not miss any chance to see him get down to business😍😍😘😘
Bluh Bluh. My only question is how did Dracula's appearance change from brunette to blonde? Is it a glamor or something? Hopefully Marvel/Disney does something to honor Blade for essentially starting the "Marvel Super Hero" craze. I'd like to see them do a Blade trilogy somewhere down the line (w/ Dracula as their "Thanos").
That's truth there, bruh! Many folks like to credit the 1st Iron Man film for kickstarting the MCU. But how easily they forget about Blade pulling 'em in at the box office! 😎 I'd support a new trilogy, all day. 👍
I’d love to see marvel get weird and bring in Dracula, morbius into the mcu. Since blade is coming into the mcu, why not? Imagine blade, ghost rider, dr strange teaming up to fight Dracula/Mephisto in Hell. It would be bonkers
Ahh the Early childhood days walking by Mile High Comics. Seeing the Tomb of Dracula comics on the wall strengthen my love of comics. As always great job Sage!!!!
The Doctor Doom of vampires. Going up against *Silver Surfer* and *Doctor Strange:* that's hardcore. Damn, he even held his own against *Deadpool!* I think *Marvel Studios* should resurrect this guy and bring him into the MCU pronto.
Love your posts. So guess now that you've discussed Dracula. I take it BloodStorm isn't too far down the line? I've been a MCU collector since I was was a six year old little black kid in the hood, it was away to mentally escape reality for a little while anyway. I'm 52 now a successful entrepreneur and still collecting, it's one of my hobbies. I have hundreds if not thousands of issues and numerous sideshow collectibles. I even got my wife into it after explaining their backgrounds in origins and the success of the Marvel movies. She loves the strong female characters, Storm and all of her variations is her favorite. We both enjoy your posts, she's looking forward to BloodStorm. Keep up the good work.
It’s so funny because one of these subscribers will make it big and actually give the people what they want one day. We all more and more marvel movies, I’m gonna go to school after the army and try to make it happen, I got some ideas frfr
I was talked into buying the trade where the x men revive Dracula. With a discription of iceman be bussed by a priest to fight vampires. Scott Summers is so dope in that story
A Morbius movie is on the way. May be they can introduce Dracula in the new Venomverse. TBH I am very excited about this anti-hero/villain approach by Sony.
The problem with Marvel Dracula’s Timeline ... Dear Marvel, There is no way in Hell THIS is a nineteen-year-old. I realize Dracula can age and de-age at will depending on how much he has fed, but at his young he looks to be about forty-five or forty-six (the age Vlad the Impaler was when he died). The reason I bring this up is Marvel claims their version of Dracula was born in 1430 (fairly accurate to the historic figure, who was born between 1429 and 1431. Most believe 1431). But Marvel also claims Dracula became a vampire in 1449. Marvel… Dracula is not a nineteen-year-old. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to claim he became a vampire in 1476 or 1477 (when the historic Vlad the Impaler died)? That puts him at the right age for how he looks when he has the dark hair. This isn’t Twilight. Nor is he Vlad the Poker from What we do in The Shadows, played by a forty-five-year-old but claiming to be sixteen (”Life was very hard for a sixteen-year-old back then.”). Dracula at his youngest form appears to be in his forties. He should not be claiming he became a vampire at nineteen. What idiot at Marvel thought this was a good idea? Sincerely, Someone who can do basic addition.
Love the vids only nit pick would be posting little stats like in say death battle only because you some to have a formula for the character break downs
@@knoxxgrim_6678 I know that since one of his experiments on bats gone wrong and made a vampiric bat, You could just refer Morbius as an Artificial Vampire, But still even if he wouldn't, It would be interesting to see.
@@leonduncan3327 i dont think it would be interesting especially if they would try to make morbius just as powerful as dracula...anybody with a half of brain know that would be fake and a joke
@@leonduncan3327 dude morbius dont have none of the abilities dracula have NONE!!!! it wouldnt even be a fair fight.....dracula also have the ability to disappear and reappear plus morbius can only lift up to 1500 ponds but that depends what kind of blood and how much blood he drinks while dracula can lift tons lol...it wouldnt be a fair fight
They fought several times. During one of their fights Dracula bit Blade and apparently killed him but it was revealed that Blade was inmune to vampire bites.
I get that the Bram Stoker Dracula novel is in the public domain (Universal version aside), but the idea of Dracula in the Marvel Universe sounds like fan fiction.
I was very much looking forward to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2. The only thing I would've changed, was the point of view. I don't do well with 1st person pov. I get disoriented trying to navigate lol.
Yeah I gotta agree. It's not explicitly stated in any Marvel literature that he's over 7 tons in strength. But the comic book writers have on several occasions taken great liberties with his strength feats. He's manhandled colossus(i think was a 70 toner during the 80s). Gone one on one with the hulk(100 toner base) as you mentioned. And I recall him fighting off some multi dimensional tentacled entity back in the 70s publications. No way is he constrained to a meager 7 tons.
Okay after watching various videos I've added more to my list. I'd love to see an all-elemental fight in a movie: Crystal Storm Dust Dracula Iceman Pyro Sunspot Namor The Thing Jubilee Sersi Ghost Rider Synch (he can use any of these characters powers)
I'm not sure when this new design of Dracula with white hair and armor was created, but I have a strong feeling that they were influenced if not totally ripped off "Kain's" design from 'The Legacy of Kain" vampire video game series. Awesome regardless.
FYI, BLADE "the daywalker" was the most feared enemy of all vampires, werewolves, zombies and even the most powerful villain DRACULA. When Blade killed Dracula, Blade is the future of the nation he has all the power, strength, and none of their weaknesses.
I read all his comics well... Except all the ones which he has white hair. Haven't read the newer ones.. I do remember he one shotted Dr Strange though...
I believe the unseen elder from the witcher 3 could take on Dracula. Hes got regeneration, special claws that have torn the toughest witcher armor to nothing, black blood potion doesnt affect him which almost kills normal vampires, he can only be killed permanently by one of his own kind, he was able to charge Geralt so fast he couldn't pull out his sword (Geralt is a genetically mutated monster slayer, went up against things that can turn to mist, teleport, move extremely fast). Higher vampires all have unique abilities that set them apart from the rest, the unseen elder was able to completely paralyze another higher vampire with just a word. He also doesnt have any weaknesses, he has to be killed by one of his own kind and unseen elders usually arent anywhere in proximity with each other. One thing up his sleeve tp is he command lesser vampires at will, not because they see him as their king, but because they know not obeying the unseen elder means death.
