Who is Marvel's Romulus? Original Lupine and "Weapon X" Mastermind.

In Roman mythology, Romulus and Remus were twin brothers raised by a wolf in the woods.

Romulus is 7 feet tall, yet he looks up to a guy 5'3".

Marvel has many mutants that are 10,000+ years old. Yet they keep giving Apocalypse the false title of First One/first Mutant being from 3000bc... If Romulus is 10,000s of thousands years old that means he predates the great flood and he could be from Hyberboria of Conan era or Atlantis from Kull's time period. The Eternals, Deviants, first vampires all roamed the earth at time openly. Heck be fun if they revealed that Eternals created Romulus

Need a Daken movie. Raised and trained by Romulus in Japan and becomes a Yakuza enforcer/assassin. The Yakuza betray and try to kill him. He then discovers he has healing factor and takes his revenge klling them until he gets to the boss...who is actually Romulus...

I always loved the characters that similiar to my fave characters. There are many examples: Dante, vergil Venom, carnage Batman, owlman Hulk, red hulk Flash, reverse flash and other thousands of examples. Some people say that Romulus and Wolverine's older brother John Howlett Jr; who is known as White Ghost in Marvel Universe 4011, as opposed to Universe 616 where he most likely is dead, are actually the same person. The only problem with this is how do you explain his sister Remus and the fact that he has allegedly been alive since the time of the Romans, he wasn't actually part of the Lupine race as Remus reveals that the story was just put there to distract Wolverine while Romulus harvested adamantium. Meaning his most likely origins were that of a mutant born in ancient Rome. However, it is still possible that he wasn't even that old and that his memories were tampered with aswell by the Weapon Plus program. The rumour is that Romulus is John Howlett Jr and that he was Weapon IX or Weapon 9 before Wolverine. You can debunk this by citing Wolverine relating Remus's scent to Romulus, meaning they actually were related, so unless Wolverine and John Howlett Jr have a sister they don't know about (considering she was flirting with Logan it would be incest) it's pretty safe to assume that John Howlett Jr and Romulus are two different people or rather mutants! It's like when everyone including apparently those in Hollywood tried to make Victor Creed and Dog Logan the same mutant, when again, they were not, it is possible that through their parents there could have been some relationship between Dog Logan and Victor Creed and it would be fun to speculate. Here is an interesting fan theory Victor Creed is Dog Logan's half brother and John Jr's cousin through his mother Victoria. Okay just to make it less confusing: James Howlett was later given the nickname Logan and was called Wolverine. He was supposed to be the son of John Howlett Sr and Elizabeth Howlett *maiden name Hudson* but was actually an illegitimate son of Thomas Logan and Elizabeth Howlett, his older brother John Howlett Jr was supposedly also an illegitimate son of Thomas Logan, but seeing that contrary to the movies it's actually more likely that the mother passes on the mutant gene, then Elizabeth is the reason for John Jr and James's mutant powers, not Thomas or John Sr, so it's entirely possible and more likely that John Sr and Elizabeth were John Jr's parents, whereas Thomas and Elizabeth were James's parents (given the resemblance between Thomas and James). So John Sr and Elizabeth have a son John Jr, but what if Victoria Creed, Sabretooth's mother was actually John Sr's sister, her maiden name being Victoria Howlett (facially she kind of looks like she could be his sister) and has a short fling with Thomas Logan while she is married to Zebadiah Creed as they loved each other ever since Thomas was made groundskeeper of her brother's estate when she used to live there, but couldn't do anything about it because of social class implications so they have an illegitimate son, but out of fear she hands their son over to Thomas to look after and lies to Zebadiah about it telling him that the baby died after it was born, the last time they meet whilst weeping she tells Thomas that they can't be together and that she can no longer see him and that it is for the best and that he must take care of their son. Heartbroken, angry and confused Thomas becomes an alcoholic who abuses his son, especially for associating with the Howletts and gives him the name Dog out of anger at the social class and status situation. Sorry I know this was about Romulus and John Jr but the point is even if they are not directly connected you can still make the story interesting, hell maybe I should write for Marvel Comics lol

Have you ever done a vid’ on Logans brother from Wolverine: The End? If not.....

I have a fan theory about Romulus... What if Frank Castle was a part of the weapon x program but no one even knows it? Before you say naaaw let me explain. In Punisher MAX: Born, Frank was talking to something inside himself that seemed like the devil. This devil was goading and goading him into becoming the killer he eventually would become. When Frank eventually faces death and says yes to the offer he goes apeshit and kills three dozen Vietnamese soldiers while soaking up seven bullets. At the end of the book this devil says that his choice will come at a cost. What I'm getting at is what if this devil was Romulus and he actually was the one who was the mastermind of the deaths of Castle's family? What if he also affected Castle's life in the shadows throughout the years like he did with all of the other weapons? It's a thought. Another thing to consider is that Romulus may have telepathic abilities also. He does nearly kill wolverine every time they meet healing factor and all, and most of us know what came out of Punisher vs. Daken. Its a pretty legit theory.

Other than looking cool, kinda, what's the purpose of that thumb blade? Lol, seems like it has little use.

The build up for this character was great, flashbacks and behind the scenes. The ending was a huge let down, making him into a Wolverine wanna be/fanboi. I don't know if the writers just lost interest or never had a real idea for the story arcs end but it could have been so much better.

they totally screwd up with Romulus, he was the son of Mars wich is present in the MU, and later ascended to godhood ,that's his prominent aspect in the legend, another important aspect is that he KILLED his brother Remus! Why make him some some sort of mutant? he could be an excellent enemy for Hercules.

Romulus was one of the brothers and if you think about it, it can be tied into viking history from the wolf in Thor ragnarok. Odins 1st daughter's pet though male, has to have a mother...
