She's just like my grandma! Well almost. A Colored South African, half White, half Black-Indian-Asian. But she looked a lot like your sister when she was young.
Well, african Americans and racist people still subscribe to the one drop rule, which is a very racist ideology that basically calls african genetics a tain%t on European blood. That girl looks mixed race and most african Americans dont look like her and most still retain their west african phenotype. Maybe African Americans and other racist people should stop bullying biracials into the black category? Jim crow days are over.
@@SimpleMinded221 Okay, what you said just bothered the hell out of me, who's bullying who? What does bullying have to do with this.. And this has nothing to do with no damn one drop rule.. I'm telling you how she looks, and black Americans look half and half, a lot of us look very West africans, and a lot of us do not look pure West africa. Black Americans on average have 15 to 30% European in their dna. That's on average it goes up higher in some black families. I don't need some white lady telling a black person.. how black people look.. The Women in my family look just like your sister... This has nothing to do with bullying mixed people.. We human beings are tribal and clannish we identify with race, black Americans have to be able to relate to mix race people. That's why they tend to call them black.. If they can't relate to them. I can almost guarantee you mixed race people wouldn't have a place in the black Americans society, at all.. So I don't mean I don't understand what you mean when you said bullying. nobody's bullying anybody. either you're part of our community or you're not. if you don't feel part of it, you don't come around black people... very simple. I tell mixed race people this all the time... if you break off.... This is not your race. and we're not your people. But historically speaking... Mixed people have been part of the black American society since the day we stepped off those slave ships..... Mixed race heritage is part of the African-American heritage, many of us have great grandparents, or a great great grandparent who were quote unquote mulattos, black Americans are de facto part White on average, that is equivalent to having a one white grandparent. the leader of the Black American society is a mixed race man... FREDERICK DOUGLASS! This is the race of Frederick Douglas. the African American community is the race of Frederick Douglas... Only untill recently Biracials have began to separate themselves, (probably because they have access to the White community now) But, the more they shift their identity.. the less access they'll have in the Black American community. I see lots of that... And also.. There are plenty of black people who do not see them as black either, So I don't know what you're talking about. If they become a different community and or a different race, the Black American community will reject them... And many of them have a very close connection to the Black American community, probably closer than your sister, your sister looks like she probably doesn't. But most of them (biracial) do, and most of them identify themselves as black as well. I have a problem with the ancestors bloodline being mixed in your family. But whatever.. Nobody's bullying anybody, what are you talking about. and black people who date interracially and have biracial children.. I tell them all the time..... You're causing problems in this community.
Hello, I watched your previous Ancestry video covering your results and you have a little African and Native American ancestry. Since your mom is 100% European, is your dad of Latin American heritage?
Yes, Panama is a Latin American country. Iberian (Spain and Portugal), Native American and Sub Saharan African ancestries together is a genetic signature very common in Latin American peoples. Awesome results!! @@AshSerrano
if you don’t mind me asking, how many centimorgans does it say y’all share on ancestry? i’m sorta going through the same thing. a random match came up under close family-1st cousin and me and her share 1332cm across 78 segments . no one in my family has heard of this girl. she’s also biracial.
Ash Serrano by any chance did you both test against any of your Uncles? Going through similar situations, a lady match my son, so I’m testing and waiting on results. Looking like she is possibly sister half sibling. Different moms. But my uncle testing as well to rule out his dad. My dad and grandpa passed away. So we trying to break it down. I was on wrong chart. Now I’m on half siblings chart and now narrow it down to possible sister match. Big shock to this lady as well she found out by accident through dna testing on ancestry her and her family. Christmas a year ago. Then match came few weeks ago with my son.. now we waiting on mine. Thank you for sharing, it’s very helpful for so many. 👍😉 Hope all going well for you and your family.
That's not a lot of centimorgans for half siblings, a few of my half siblings is over 1,700 cms..I have one half sibling who is 1,400 cms which I thought was low, my one niece & aunt has higher cms with me. 1:57
@@AshSerrano cool thanks. Im waiting for my dna results... never knew my father as he left before i was born. He passed away a few years back and my grandparents his parents are no longer living either but they had said we had around 12 half siblings from women he was with. Hoping to find some of them!
