For whoever edits these videos - I know its a podcast but could you please put up the references they make, like the blade scene, the cabin pic that Brandon was showing etc, video viewers would appreciate it, and it wouldn't really take anything away from the audio listeners
@@samanthaa.6055 small clips don't cause demonetizations and there's so much more that can be added that's not even copyright protected to improve the viewing experience
Completely agree, it's not very interesting to hear people talking about images you can't see, especially when they're saying things like "Oh look there it is" and you just wonder what they're looking at.
Fortnite convinced me to read Mistborn. I read and loved Stormlight on my siblings recommendation. (My first Sanderson books) and seeing the model of Kelsier that was in Fortnite and knowing how good Sanderson books were, I grew curious and excited to see what cool story surrounded that character. Now I have a mistborn tattoo. 😂
Mistborn convinced me to play Fortnite lol. I actually started playing after the Kelsier skin was already gone, but when I started, I just assumed it would come back around in rotation.
@azotter610 I haven't heard anything about it. If Kelsier comes back, I'd imagine Vin or someone else will come with him. But maybe that's just wishful thinking. Worse comes to worst, we'll just have to wait for some sort of Cosmere adaptation to get more fortnite skins.
Dan, Guillermo Del Toro was the director on Blade 2. Blade 4 Guillermo Del Toro was not a part of and yes, Wesley Snipes had some kind of beef with that director and by extension the entire production of blade three. It’s pretty crazy stuff that went on. Fun to look up and read.
Blade 2 was directed by Del Toro, Blade 3 was directed by David Goyer, he and Wesley Snipes famously hated working together. Patton Oswald was in Blade 3 and has some interesting stories about being on set.
No, it's on a list of several games that came out in the past 1-2 years that he plans to play once he finishes the final draft of Stormlight 5. Tears of the Kingdom is another, and there were a few more that have been mentioned that I'm forgetting at the moment.
Hey Dan, propranolol (basically any beta blocker, but longer duration has been better for me) extended release has really helped reduce my anxiety. Taking a 20mg immediate release can be better than clonazepam and it makes being social easier. I personally have no side effects, and it's been a godsend for my biology as I don't do well with nearly all psych meds.
@KyleOfTheNorth the AMC shows? I really liked their take on the vampires, but the witches one wasn't my favorite. Too bad, because I love the Mayfair Witches.
@@abhimac27 I agree, the Mayfair Witches was kinda meh. I recommend watching Penny Dreadful if you haven't seen it. It kinda takes several Gothic horror characters and puts them into one narrative.
@@abhimac27 I started it but didn't finish it. It didn't scratch the same itch as the original and I wish they would've just continued with the first series as there obviously were some plot lines left open.
Neurofeedback is so cool! I am a therapist and I am getting certified in this modality. I would describe it as "brain training" that uses real time brainwaves. The program that you watch then shows you when your brain is behaving well and that rewards the behavior.
I know I am in the minority of commenters here, but I was excited when we got straight to talking about interesting stuff instead of a food heist. ...then disappointment arrived. I just can't get into the food heists!
I love this podcast...are food heist stories always necessary, though? I guess I have the ability to skip them, at least...just don't look forward to them, ya know? Am I the only one?
Dan’s LTUE keynote speech was excellent-“calculated nonsense” is the perfect way of describing the gopher guts reading and Dan completely justified its inclusion by the end.
A bad Vampire thing i like is The Vampire Diaries. Mainly because the strength of the vampire is dependant on how long they have been a vampire. So older vampires show up and its like daammmmnnn our MC's are weak. Then we met the original vampires and they were so strong it was awesome.
All these names focus on the wine. He should be called Ciderman. Climbs under tankers and drinks whatever booze he finds. Look out! Here comes the Ciderman.
What's the name of those fish that attach themselves to the bellies of sharks? That's the image in my head for the wine guy. He is the fish, the truck is the shark. Either that or a leech. Perhaps he goes by : THE LEECH
The Chris Sanders story is accidentally almost right! On Lilo and Stitch he was the fill in voice for Stitch and they ultimately decided it just had to be him, no point trying to get someone else.
