I'm curious what you think about the video quality. Does it appear to be 4K? Is the image resolution on par with what you would expect in 2023? Keep in mind that I did the flight test very close to dusk, so I was in lower light for the most part. Find the GIM2 here if you're interested: amzn.to/404CML3.
@@adriannyasia Yea I think it's 1080 at best. I did another flight test on a bright sunny day (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WIf61_CiTWI.html) and came to the same conclusion.
Love your review! I just purchased one and can't wait to receive and try it out. Regarding the video resolution; the specs indicate 4K to the SD card, 720 to phone.
Good to see you out again and flying in good health. The F11 in review is pretty decent , but a little pricey for what it is. Its a toy priced at DJI Mini quality drone. I would spend my money on the DJI mini 2 or SE.
Glad to hear that. Thanks for dropping by and checking it out. I have another video on this one focused on follow me, which works darn well might I say.
Thanks for the great review. I live at the coast in Cabo San Lucas and need a drone that weighs a little more due to the winds. Think I will be ordering soon.
You said you turn the airplane mode and it didn't cut the wifi signal? or you just turn off the data, I think the follow was too low it didn't move because it has to be above obstacles
@@GadgetInspector SJRC F11S 4k Pro is the real brand. Ruko is just a name tag for which you pay too much, even with second battery, faster delivery, and maybe little bit more warranty.
Yea I used to deal with the Banggoods and Gearbests of the world, but I got burned too many times. At least with Amazon I can return super easily if there’s a problem. Just hit the local Kohl’s.
Ty for the review,I myself have never heard of this company, looked at this drone on Amazon an was curious an for the price the quality an how it flys since I don't have the money to afford a DJI mini 4 pro or s DJI air 3,so expensive, but this little drone looks like it'll do everything I want an need to do on my camp adventures an have fun an is slightly pricey but affordable.
Good stuff. Very detailed. By far the best review for that Ruko. I just picked one up at the pawnshop for a buck. Been flying it for the last two days. Very impressed. My only gripe is the camera quality (definitely NOT 4K) and adjustments (clunky). The landing is quite nerve-wracking. Definitely not my Phantom, but overall, a very impressive drone for the cost. I’m content with it. 👊🏼
Geez, I'm gonna have to start dropping by some pawnshops. Here's another vid on this one if your interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WIf61_CiTWI.html. I walk through the follow me and orbit more thoroughly and it works surprisingly well. Probably the best amongst these budget drones.
Sometimes the F11 flies perfectly OK. Other times it starts its own life and you have to have more skills than Tom Cruise to land it safely. Especially when using return-home. There are two ways to calibrate compass. Rotate it. Or rotate yourself holding the drone with your arm stretched. Maybe it makes a difference? If it goes wacky then use the sticks to stabilize flight in the air. In worst case turn off GPS. Someone suggested to put some tape over the vent holes so the barometer doesn't catch all the wind. I sold my SJRC F114k Pro. I wasn't all that unhappy despite its quirks. But it didn't have a dynamic-homepoint update. Each time I flew it off my bike it suddenly returned home without warning and I gad to race back like an idiot. That is just not an option. Imagine going down a mountain pass. Shame because the follow-me feature actually worked quite well. Compass type so I could position it in front or next to me and avoid obstacles. Which you can't with 'string' type where it only follows from behind. I don't have eyes in the back of my head. Droned reviewers never test it enough for me to see if it does everything right. I can only guess.
@@GadgetInspector If you ever find a LYZRC L109 Pro cheap, then just buy it. Yes the gimbal is shaky, the camera 'only' 1080p, the lens if fish eye. And no it does not have obstacle avoidance. But the point is that it is the only budget drone with the proper follow-me feature. It will stick with you, you can control it, and it won't fly back to where you are no longer. It's how all drones should do follow-me. Or actually the F8 Monster used the same RC GPS app. It too did the follow-me like the L109 Pro. But the camera was even worse. The Fimi A3, ah well, it was more responsive. If I moved 1mm it moved. But batteries replacements are a problem. 8 minutes top. With the L109 Pro you will know exactly how to test other drones. Many people buy a drone to film themselves hiking biking.
I had the Ruko Gim one and it always took a long time to find Satellites......that was the only bad thing i had to say about it....I purchased the SJRC F22 and i have to say it does not have those Satellite issues
