No one has the brain and mind of McQueen himself, there will NEVER be a design made by him again, no one ca be him. People are incredibly stupid to have this kind of expectations from a different designer. Seán McGirr did a phenomenal job with his first collection for McQueen, and it is so funny that people hate on him. Just shows he is doing it right. With any other mindset McQueen himself wouldn't habe been able to pull off what he did when he layed down the foundation for his fashion empire.

Such a shame that they hired this guy for such a renowned fashion house, which is geared more towards couture and high fashion, and he has absolutely zero experience: this shows that house of McQueen, in some kind of financial trouble, if they are hiring unexperienced designer. I don’t know where fashion going if JW.A considered hardest designer in the world so now I understand where they going with this

AS A McQueen purchaser for close to 2 decades........right now I'm abit upset that the latest looks are very Balenciaga in feel. I only wear 3 designers and the latest runway collection has nothing I want to own. ☹☹☹

Just when you think the McQueen house could not going down hill more with Sarah's paws, this is going to be disaster. I mean, Sarah seem to keep on repeating looks and silhouettes seasons after seasons when Lee's every single collections had their own identities and never repeated, last collection never looked the same or even similar to the next. McQueen archive is paramount and full with hundreds of brilliant inspiration pieces. McQueen's esthetic is all about avant-garde and over the top, not known for minimalist. This new creative director is going to drive the McQueen house to the dirt. I am not at all excited about it.
