That is DEFINITELY what Colorado need is LINEBACKERS. All of their linebackers were complete trash this past season. There are going to be many players fighting to stay on the team.
Most of the tape shows him with his hand in the ground. We need side line to side line hitters that can read and react on crossing routes, tight ends seem routs and backs out the backfield. Buffs play a cover 2 with gap control defense.
🦬🦬🦬🦬🦬🦬🦬🏈🏈🏈🦬🏈🦬🦬🦬🏈🏈🏈Before anybody be to hard on Colorado please take in mind that there the ONLY team in the country that played 11 power-5 Opponents. Not Georgia , Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State ect... played that kind of tough schedule with as little depth as Colorado has
Please say what we see. No linebacker plays all edge rushing. Light for a college DE. Can he make the transition? Lots guys do. My son was an offensive star throughout high school; QB, RB/WR but the college that recruited him wanted him to play CB after seeing film of him making several inceptions. He played the position on defense because he was the best athlete they had. Ended up redshirting freshman year and started at cornerback next year. Opened the season against Oregon State and N0.1 Nebraska (1995).
