Who Is The Better Overall Player? Itoshi Sae Or Michael Kaiser 

I think isagi will be like a mini version of sae and kaiser. An adapting striker with a lot of utility under his belt

Better 'overall' player is easy to find, Itoshi Sae is a Mid-Fielder, the players who HAVE to be better overall. He also possesses the qualities of a good striker, Kaiser is a main striker, who only need to have the game to make shots. In a battle of overall, Sae has him beat, in a match with equal teams, Kaiser could probably edge it out with the Kaiser Impact. If Isagi was able to get past Sae in the final moments, Kaiser could do the same, especially with the Kaiser impact. Therefore I believe with their respective team, Kaiser is better.

Overall in my opinion i think sae bc his a mid fielder who can be a top notch striker too with quick transition between play styles where as kaiser is mainly a striker but let's be honest both are interesting and cool design wise along with unique personalities and play styles

Sae's passing and dribbling are definitely better. While Kaiser's shooting, positioning and attacking are better. But overall, definitely Sae.

It's not a far stretch to say Sae plays with a style of 'Calculation' and Kaiser plays with one of 'Execution'. The only way to really compare them is too see how they would do if they swapped positions, where Kaiser has the vision but not the passing ability to be a midfielder. Whereas as shown in the U20 match Sae was able to score goals more efficiently then the strikers of the U20 Japan team. I love both of the characters but based on this Sae may be the better player here. Feel free to give your thoughts or whatever.

i think something you forgot to say is how itoshi sae evolves his teammates on the field, it was said from Aiku and Shidou that Sae was bringing them to the next level which in my opinion shakes up the arguement a lot, ik Sae already won but when finding the better overall playing i think this wouldnt played a big part in saying why Sae is better overall, and the fact that he can act as a midfielder and striker at the same time would make it really clear why hes the better player

If Kaiser vs Sae were to go 1 on 1, Kaiser would win, but if they were against each other on a full 11v11, Sae more valuable to his team than Kaiser is to his.

Kaiser is a better striker while Sae is a better overall footballer I do think if we ever saw Saes stats it would look something like this: Speed : 85 Offense : 92 Shoot : 92 Dribbling : 95 Passing : 96 Defense : 80 Overall : 96 (My own interpretation of his stats btw he will probably be a point lower than Kaiser because blue lock priorities Strikers rather than other positions but you can see that he has a more even or balanced card as compared to Kaiser who has maxed out striker stats)

I’ve still got Kaiser for sure but I think people picking Sae are just biased because we saw more of him so far and he’s been around since the beginning. Time will tell

i feel like being a midfielder is much harder than a striker, u need to defend work on passing and moving the game around and need to be able to score by yourself.

I would like to point out that during the FC Barcha game Isagi says that Kaiser is the embodiment of his ideal movements. However, during the U20 match this comment is not made about Sae. Yes Isagi is a striker and Sae is a midfielder, so he might not see optimal midfield movement, but it’s interesting to think about

It is Kaiser OBVIOUSLY, since Sae's dream was to be the best striker in the world, but when he saw the world, he abandonded his dream and switched it to midfielder. BUT KAISER IS ONE OF THE BEST STRIKERS IN THE WORLD, SOMETHING THATH SAE COULDN'T BE WITH HIS ABILITIES!!!

For me, Sae is simply more versatile. Kaiser is faster and has better shots but Sae is still no slouch in either field and he's better than Kaiser at dribbling, passing and defense. Sae is simply a more complete player than Kaiser, which he kinda has to be as a midfielder.

id give it to sae cause we saw the kind of damage he could do before and after shido got on the field. Before shido got on the field we saw how say controled the field and was the driving force pushing japan up the field. Hell if he wasnt tasked with proving what he could bring to the U-20 team he most likely would have scored 2 or more goal in the first half. Then he became a god damn demon having shido on the field taking advatange of all the high level passes. It took the entire blue lock team to just stop those 2 from dominating the match. And yes what kaiser does is impresive in the first match in the neo egoist league; but in this second match where the team isnt built around him, he has pretty much been a background character

I wanted to post this as an answer to the "Kaiser is NOT better than Sae" post. I got a little bit angry, because I think the story is pretty clear on what it tells is, but everyone can come to their own conclusions I guess. Every single think in the post mentioned above are just your opinion. Rabbit acts like they are facts. The facts are actually as follows: They are both U20 World 11 so they are relatively close in skill. Kaiser is a Striker and Sae is a midfielder. Saes original dream was to make it as the best striker. Kaisers dream is to make it as the best striker. Sae gave up on his dream and is now trying to become the best midfielder. This is a quote from Sae: "Turns out the World is huge. There're players way better than me out there... I've changed my dream. Instead of becoming the best striker I will become the best midfielder in the world." Sounds like he gave up because there where striker better than him. So Sae actually made it as a midfielder and is one of the best, if not actually the best midfielder in his age group. Kaiser on the other hand actually made it as a striker and is one of the best, if not actually the best striker in his age group. Kaiser has a weapom, even the World's Best striker acknowledges. Quote Noa: "That right foot kick of his, that is es all of his body to execute... He's the fastest in the world when it comes to the swing. That is the one thing in which he has me beat." No one ever said something remotely similar about Sae. Ok there are two conclusions you can gather from These facts: Kaiser is better than Sae. They had the same dream. Kaiser is on a good path that ensures he reaches that dream and Sae gave up on it, because he realized there where people better than him. Seems clear cut to me. Kaiser just has a bigger Ego than Sae. Maybe Sae could've made it as a striker. But fact is: He gave up. The series makes it pretty clear that you can't be a good striker without a large Ego. So this one comes to a similar conclusions than the first option: Sae's Ego is to weak to make it as a striker, which in Blue Lock terms means: Kaiser is better than Sae. It's actually not that hard to understand. Later in the story Sae might play against Kaiser and maybe he beats him. I am fine with that, because as I said in the beginning: They are relatively close in skill. But till that happens the Story simply tells us that Kaiser ist better.

Since isagi is an adaptive type he will either learn Kaiser shot or noa teach him a new one

Great video! I'd say Itoshi Sae is the better Overall player. Saes more of an "all-rounder" while Kaiser specializes in offense. Kaiser does smoke Sae in offense.

The whole point of Sae character is that he failed to become a striker and Kaiser succeeded and is also world class

Kaiser >= sae or kaiser = sae I think Kaiser has shown more at a higher level then sae since he lost to flow Rin when he was serious while Kaiser is easily able to score at the highest level. Obv that’s a very small part of it but it’s more narrative consistent that there at the very least equal or very close in skill

For Kaiser impact, its not a volley. Its the swing speed of his leg when he goes for a shot. That's why the shot is "so fast" because its leaving his feet almost immediately and also why its "unstoppable"

In my opinion Sae had a lot minus time on screen but impressed a lot more than Kaiser. come on guys all the moment you see Sae playing did you ever se him struggle on the pitch, like him beeing upset or like gave the best he could? lets get some facts lay out here. Sae gave up on being the world's best striker because he witnessed world caliber players during his time in spain. Kaiser is what Sae originally aimed for, therefore its safe to say that Kaiser is the superior striker. Striker does not mean better player, it just means that he is better at scoring. Soccer is a 11 players team sport, midfielders are just as important as defenders and goaler. As of the current chapter, we haven't seen any impressive passing techniques or 1v1 techniques from Kaiser. We can assume that Sae is the bettter overall player as of chap 201. But i say that they are evenly matched in their own rights. I want to see the remaining Generation 11. maybe they will be the final boss vs our Bluelock boys. Edit: Kaiser is hot as fuck, personally my fav character in the neo league arc

Itoshi sae, kaiser ability is his amazing physique, kaiser impact, meta vision but he lacks skills to be on par with itoshi sae, itoshi sae 10/10 passing, 10/10 skills, shooting control 10/10, he is fast and was defending and attacking and almost was reason for the draw between u-20 vs blue lock 11 the reason why he doesn't play forward is loki loki is younger than him and literally is on par with the best of the world.

I think the main issue with the comparison here is that (if im not mistaken) one is supposed to be bastard muichen nº 10 and the other is just a sub 20 real madrid academy player. Weve seen much more from sae than from kaiser due to him being japanese and the main antagonist till now. If Saes team hasnt changed yet, theres no logical way to compare kaiser with him. Having said that, sae as a antagonist is much much more likeable and i would put him above kaiser in my fav character rankign

i think kaiser is better, because i value what people can do with thier understanding of the game and teh fact that kaiser controls the game and created the system, the system didnt create him, he made the system with his meta vison and ness and others are just supporting acts itoshi sae is amazing to but he relies on others to make the play so he can destroy it beautifully, he def can make his own plays but the kaiser impact thbat surpasses noel noa is something i think settles it, but ofc its an opinion, i get why u think sae is better, its a matter of what you value more or think is more impactful

I am one of the few that still thinks kaiser is better. I think he's better at scoring and off ball movement which are very important and end up in many goals. Itoshi sae can obviously pass better and dribble better, but those skills aren't used by a striker. In a team where you have very specific strikers, sae can help them score even more while scoring himself, but in most cases I would prefer having kaiser that can score many goals alone without help. Also in field vision they are equally incredible, but kaiser, as isagi, has incredible predictions. Sae reacts doesn't predict which could be sufficient in some cases but not always. Everyone can have different opinions. Love to all you blue lock fans❤️.

Honestly better overall player equals better player and thats simply how football works. Messi is better than CR7 because he is better overall. Kaiser might be a better striker and Goal scorer but sae is the better dribbler passer playmaker and assister. Kaiser defo has goals scoring and physicality possible even speed over sae tho.

I agree with Poll. I mean, Kaiser is probably the better striker, but he's not as an overall player. Isagi has mentioned how Kaiser is basically him but higher stats and shooting. Isagi has not shown excelling in a specific thing compared to anyone in Blue Lock. Bachira is better at dribbling and Yukimiya has the best hold on the ball. That would mean Kaiser is the same. I mean, it's been implied that Ness does that stuff or at least passes it. Sae has shown the ability to do everything Isagi can do, possibly even better, so it's not unreasonable to assume he has Meta Vision. He can see AND move himself away from people blindspots. I mean, at one point, not a single person was marking Sae and Isagi never even saw him in the U20. THEN there's the fact that it took EVERYTHING for Sae to even get the ball back from Sae and that was when Rin was in Flow and Sae looked like he wasn't even being serious. And we saw how Flow Rin blew past all of the U20 defenders. It makes sense for Sae to be the better overall player since he's a midfielder while Kaiser's a striker. A midfielder is there to help give strikers a scoring opportunity. I mean, that's why Isagi was being seen as a midfielder after the Bastard vs Manshine game. Bro was creating chances for himself and could easily create chances for anyone. Like with the stats, I'm sure they're equal, but the parameters are completely different. I bet Sae's defense, pass and dribble are higher than Kaiser, like Kaiser's are 74, 79 and 86 respectively while I'm sure Sae's like in the 90s for all or maybe high 80s for all, but Sae's shooting and offense are way lower. Prolly the same stats Kaiser has for his defense, pass and dribble or slightly higher. They're speed is prolly comparable. It honestly makes more sense for Sae to be higher there as well (not by much since Kaiser is in the 90s there) since he's the midfielder and has a lot of ground a midfielder usually covers.
