Though I doubt it will happen there is even a chance for a game between the end of series, or at least a very improved Blue Lock Eleven vs The next Gen 11, or whatever the group is called, it’s whatever Itoshi Sae is apart of. I feel like this won’t happen just because it doesn’t feel like it would be able to be added to the plot organically other then, “ Wow these blue lock guys are really really good, let’s have them play against that group of prodigies that are not an actual team.” I can’t think of a way to add stakes to the game that don’t feel super artificial unless this super team just happens to exist in the World Cup Arc which would make no sense because that’s not how the World Cup works. In summation really cool concept but my monkey brain can’t think of a way to make it make narrative sense.

Possibly controversial opinion: I think Barou will be one of the players to lead Japan to a World Cup and I think he's going to become better than Rin. Rin seems like he's being set up to lose everything to Isagi, and he already did lose most of it during the U-20 match. If he loses again, I think he'll actually be quitting soccer or something of the sort and accepting Isagi as the one who will be better than him. As for Barou, we've seen that he is the one who is going to reject a world like that. His character arc seems to be going in the direction of the darkness to Isagi's light, the villain on the field to Isagi's protagonist, and the one to whom Isagi has to adapt to, always.
