I look forward to watching these every Saturday morning. I am an old man that cannot draw a straight line let alone airbrush one but using stencils, masking and a great airbrush (Evolution) I am making things I am proud of. Thank you!
If you're proud of what you make then that's what matters I'm with you I'm not an artist by any stretch but I'm trying keep spraying that paint, I got the new evolution and I love it.
Warrick, thank you for the new video on The New 2024 Evolution CR Plus. Video tutorials are definitely better than written instructions. Especially when the videos are detailed with all explanations and including the addition of demonstration of such details is very helpful. I’m grateful to be part of this H&S family, community.
I really appreciate H&S videos and ofc Warrick´s presentations feels very grounded and that the company is very proud in what it´s producing. This is a what all companies should strive after, get passionate leadership and the rest will follow, in today´s work ethics it feels many companies leave the passion behind just to grow. My airbrush inspiration: H.R.Giger's work was my first introduction to the amazing things that can be done with an airbrush. Though beauty is probably not the word everyone would use for it. I am proud to have helped the efforts in Kyiv by buying one of those airbrush kits. It is so awesome to hear the artist in Warwick speak to us. It is an insight that is very illuminating. @@harderairbrush Trying to get out my comfort zone a little with the brush. Spraying larger model terrain rather than miniatures now. Going back and forth between wide open and prime when “priming”….I get a little impatient with the “prime” setting on a much larger diorama setting. Doing this is causing a little tip drying for me which I hadn’t experienced with the U24 doing the smaller models. So it’s making me think a little more…I like puzzles ;). So things are moving along nicely. Thanks for asking
Sounds great. Remember, that a quick shoot on wide open is often very useful in putting a rush of wet paint over the needle tip and keeping it clean. Enjoy!
Great video, as always! The videos do much more for the airbrush scene than just an advertising measure for HS. You can literally feel that the topic is important to you and that's great. What really convinced me was your idea of the new Evolution airbrush and where it had to be improved. These were exactly the things that I criticized about the old model. I started airbrushing with the old model many years ago (I am still not on a really high level though). What really bothered me personally most about (all) the old models of your company were the trigger control and the different moments, when the color finally came out. That was the reason why I used different brushes up to… -now- After your introduction, I immediately ordered the new Evolution CR-plus and can say that this is the best airbrush I have ever held in my hands. And by that I specifically mean ALL (including the much more expensive) Japanese models I used before. A big congratulation to all of you!

Hey Warrick, thank YOU for taking your time to answer. It's very hard to imagine, that any other GM would really do that! Great. I am using the new Evolution now constantly, as my only brush (doing mainly portraits of a specific kind). I heard about the rumors of a new "Infinity" as well, but for me, it is really hard to imagine, where you want to get better than with the new Evo. Really looking forward to it!@@harderairbrush
The self proclaimed title of “Artist” doesn’t sit well with me either, know exactly where you are coming from. Love your grounded and humble videos. I have been involved with traditional art mediums for 50 years and really fancy expanding into airbrushing (I have had a dabble). Thinking of jumping in with the Infinity, as I do have quite a bit of hand/eye, sensitive control “training” and 50 years of trying to improve on every piece. My only question is, is the Evolution capable of doing anything better than the Infinity ?

Loving these Videos. I am completely brand new to airbrushing and successfully painted a board game using an absolutely terrible airbrush and compressor combo from a well known tool store. A friend of mine recently pointed me to your brand new ultra 2024 and i ordered it and a lot of paint to explore model painting with. I am very excited to receive it and might even do some of the painting live. Would love to work with the company somehow and continue to practice my skills.
oh i did'n know that but lots of respect to you as a manager that you sit down and do this videos and its obvious that you do a good job. of cause brands like iwata and badger are more popular in the us because harder & steenbeck is a bit more expensive there, but your reputation is clearly impeccable. I'm in a lot of model making FB groups and also in conventional forums and I can say that I've never heard anything negative when it comes to Harder & Steenbeck. so good job

Oh nice. You're the GM, that makes me like these videos even more. I was thinking you were just a publicity guy. But I have been very happy with how publicly aware H&S has been of late. It feels like you all care about the consumers more, so even though I was thinking of getting an iwata next, I decided to wait for the infinity 2024.
@@harderairbrush I actually have an infinity that I enjoy, but it sounds like across the board the 2024 versions are going to be an upgrade and will be worth buying even if we already have an older model.
Question for H&S. Will you publish a list of spare parts and if so in what website will it be posted?? I bought recently an Ultra, the new model and I am looking forward to upgrade it the 0.45mm nozzle of the new evolution
IMHO, I think it’s great that as the GM (General Manager) for H&S you are able to create these videos and explain what you do (your role) and the nuances of airbrushing in a very easy to digest format for a variety of people who use, or are planning to use a H&S airbrush. I would be interested to know how the Evo 2024 compares to the Infinity v2 CrPlus with it’s sub 0.2mm needle for detailing work? Can the Evo 2024 get close too, or match the detailing of the Infinity? Is the Infinity still the ‘king of the castle’? Or, is there something new on the horizon for the Infinity / H&S? Cheers

Is this still realistic?😅 Here's the thing - my cheap airbrush is living it's last days and I definitely need a new one from Harder and Steenbeck. Here’s a question or two for you. There is much talk of the new Infinity 2024. First, will my recently purchased Infinity CR Plus be obsolete? Will H&S be offering some form of upgrade kit for the current Infinity? eg a no lag trigger assembly. ( I use the Dred dx workaround with the ptfe washers, but it is just a quick fix)
Hey Paul - we build airbrushes to pass down to your kids :-) so nothing is ever obsolete - for example, you'll notice that all the new heads can fit onto the new or the old. The new Infinity will of course be a big step forward, but it doesn't mean that the previous model is suddenly bad. There's so much incredible work out there which was done with that airbrush, so it is STILL at that level. However, there will be upgrade packs available, of course. However, the upgrade packs won't deliver FULL Infinity 2024 functionality, as the airbrush has been redesigned from the ground up - the only parts untouched are the internals of the airvalve. W
I just got the new 2024 Ultra and I was wondering if you are planning on making a 2ml cup for it. The 5ml cup sit too close to the trigger and there is no room for my finger to push the trigger the way I am used to, which is close the the knuckles. Great airbrush though. Thank you for putting out these videos.

I got the new Evolution (only the 0.28mm FineLine head) and I would like to know where I can buy the 0.45mm nozzle head if I ever need it. I have not yet found any stores that sell either 0.28mm or 0.45mm accessories. Thank you.
Are different H&S airbrushes better suited for different purposes? As an improving miniature painter looking to step up from my Badger ‘workhorses’ (Patriot 105 and Krome) is there an obvious choice from the H&S range?

Thanks for the question. I’d like to say yes as we have worked very hard to improve them and we think we have by a lot. But take a look at videos about them from other people on YT and get a different perspective. We’re very confident that you’ll be happy and feel the improvements
As a newbie to airbrushing, one thing i do like is how Harder & Steenbeck , as far as i'm aware , are the only manufacturer of airbrushes who actually give demos and explain a little about their range . But i have a question, why is the new Ultra's bowl so near to the trigger compared to the new Evolution please? Do you think the Evo' 2024 would be a good choice for a beginner with no ability whatsoever and hands the size of Tyson Fury? thanks..
If you’ve got the hands of Tyson Fury then you should be out earning squillions boxing! Seriously though, none of the dimensions between cup and trigger are smaller than the previous gen. All are actually larger by a touch despite the airbrushes being shorter at the front. We did this by changing the rake of the cup slightly. The Evo will be better for you due to the reduced diameter of the 2ml cup… the 5ml might also be tricky for the Fury finger.
Do you guys do anything for any or any particular charity that I myself or my friend can help contribute towards. As we are commission based painting thing starting with a percentage towards mental health charity, but we would like to expand eventually to others.
Do you guys have a repair center? I have a 2 year old evolution that stopped working for some reason, regardless of the needle I use, and its clean. I cant figure out what is wrong with it.
