This but also generally the best characters also have the most tools, and among those tools are ones that can be used to play lame so I'd have to say Fox overall.

Fighting a lot has nothing to do with how lame they are though. And definitely Zelda, all that character does is spam fair and bair, which is just the exact same move except they won't be equally staled

I’m not even a falco main but just on the fact that falco has so few guaranteed combos assuming good defensive play there’s a lot of creativity/mixups that have to happen to play falco at a high level. Creativity and mixups are hype, at least to me!

I can agree with certain play styles, you can play the bird very lame if you want to. However, that’s the case for a lot of the characters. So I’d argue it’s more of a player thing than a character thing.

@@TheKornstalker links kit outside of projectiles IMO is really fuckin cool. He can do sick stuff with his projectiles but it's situational. Like the sweet spot of boomerang right after it's thrown being able to combo is really sick. If you have a bomb when you do it you can Z drop or throw it on bad DI and get more follow ups. Not to mention slide off shit and ledge grab run off up Bs into bomb walljump down air. Shits a guaranteed nut every time lolol. Also what are the odds that Bowser PFP dudes tend to be Link players lol

@@kona7014 Aside from fox shine which you could argue is about as broken as falco's, and marth grab range I wouldn't say either of those two were gifted anything on a silver platter. They have good frame data and hitboxes yes, but nothing that just makes you want to say: "why does an already top character have 3-4 (online dependent) bs moves that are better than the entire cast aka falco." No other character do you have to learn how to powersheild their projectiles, no other character has a move that beats everything (dair), and only Fox has the same frame 1 invincible move in shine which is unanimously the best move in the game as Falco. You then add an non-reactable recovery option whilst online and yeah, falco is gifted everything on a silver platter. Marth is easy combo food and has bad recovery. Fox while "better" than falco is only due to his ability to kill floaties off the top, other than that his drill (which isn't broken) helps versus yoshi, and his shine (about as broken as falcos), helps against icies. Despite all those upsides fox has, none of his ATTACKS besides shine feel "game warping" in how you have to approach the matchup specifically to that one character.

@@zxien1 I didn't bother reading past the first sentence when you said Fox's shine was "about as broken" and only Martha's grab range. Ultimately, every top character is lame and broken but Falco probably has the least flowchart playstyle.
