Who is this SITH LORD in the Acolyte? 

I think he's a Sith Apprentice and she's just a part of his plot to kill his master.

I wasn’t expecting to see the Sith Lord in the first episode

The sith lord is the little Asian guy who makes that poison.

I’m really enjoying this show so far. It’s far from perfect and does have some pacing issues but I like the overall setting and how real and authentic it all looks. The characters are also very cool as well.

Whoever he is, I’m hoping he’s someone we didn’t expect

I Think it might be that Qimir, knew how to kill jedi, had good reactions and fighting skills when mae attacked, there using the Palpatine trick concealing identity watching apprentice closely

The Sith Lord could be Darth Vectivus aka The Sith That Did No Evil. He only increased his knowledge in the Dark Side and ran a business. That would explain why all those Jedi attacked him in that scene in the trailer. They got triggered. Given the tone of this show and who made it Darth Vectivus could be in it. But I really don't want to see the mess up my boy Darth Vectivus. He cool. 😎

The obvious choice would be Tenebrous, right?

I think that the masked man is actually the real apprentice of the Sith and he’s just using her as an assassin like ventress was used. And even if he dies they won’t think it’s a Sith at all and just a dark force user or fallen Jedi. Just an idea

This Sith Lord may be training Mae in secret to be his acolyte so that he can betray his master for Mae to be his true apprentice

I haven’t heard anyone suggest it yet for some reason, but he could be Darth Venamis. I think it’s more likely to just be a new character, but if they are going to take stuff straight from Legends, then it’d make more sense for it to be him rather than Tenebrous.

I watched the 2 episodes way later than I should have. I liked it. Sometimes it is quite predictable but it's understandable, as the story is just set up now.

or he could just be a padawan of tenebrous or someone, looking for replacements and maybe he is testing his acolyte, and by the end of the season or show he could die and plaguies could come in

Have to be a Sith apprentice running their own rogue operation as the Sith Master would be unwilling to risk exposure to the Jedi. On the other hand I believe that the Acolyte incident is how Yoda knew about the survival of the Banite Sith in the Phantom Menace.

Probably Plagueis. In the opening, we see that this takes place 100 years before the rise of the empire which would put the events of the acolyte around 119 BBY, just 35 years before the birth of Palpatine. If plagueis is as powerful and wise as his reputation perceives him, it would make sense to have had him live long enough to gather said knowledge. Everything we know about him is basically retconned outside of RotS.

eh ... well, this is quite only partially interesting for me -> BUT WHERE IS YODA? ... IMO it would be interesting to see how the character developed in this earlier time ... after all he was already like 700-750 years of age by this time ... as I recall he was already GM of the Order ... so ...

Plagueis seems too early, and timeline-wise Tenebrous should at least be an apprentice. However instead of showing their hands, I think this guy could be an early apprentice of Tenebrous that was eventually replaced for Plagueis. If you've seen Legends you know Rugess Nome saw the Rule of Two as the Suggestion of Two, plus Palpatine had two apprentices before settling on Vader

Imo, the masked character is not a sith......she's Mae and Oshea's mother..... but which one ??? She will be killed at the end by Sol....... but, we will discover she's been trained by none other than Darth Tenebrous, in exchange for the knowledge of how to create life through the force,... Imo, the last scene , we will see Darth Tenebrous saying to his new apprentice , Darth Plagueus, something like...... ' These witches discovered how to create life trough the force..... now these witches are gone, and that power is ours......together, we will perfect that knowledge and we will create a chosen one..... who will serve our purpose and destroys the Jedi.... I don't care what anyone says, this "sith" is not Darth Plagueis. If anyone would pay attention, Plagueis's head is shaped like a pickle. This unidentified Helmet head has a normal shaped head. That theory is stupid, and wrong.

Timeline wise, it’s the most logical sense for the SITH lord to be Darth Plaguies. In canon, he is killed by Palpatine around when he is 115. And Acolyte timeline, Palpatine isn’t even born yet. I get that the head shape and whatnot isn’t the same, but Disney has been known to change LEGENDS stories to fit their film. Who knows, but I say Plageuis still

I think this isn't a Sith but rather Ren the original leader of the Knights of Ren. Kylo when joins the Knights of Ren has to kill a Jedi without a lightsaber to enter their group in the comics, and only their leader, Ren has a lightsaber, while the other knights use metal weapons, including daggers

I realize that Disney doesn't feel beholden to Legends continuity, but changing the species of Plagueis and Tenebrous, characters who are so important to the lore, is too extreme. Lucas himself chose Plagueis' species.

Darth Tenebrous is more likely than Plagusis considering he was born around 147 years BBY- !20 years BBY(legends sources as we don't have exact datesin canon) barring retcons. However i still doubt it is either of them as the "Master" is doesnet have the long head of a Munn or the short stocy head of a Bith also he looks human

I think it's Sol Plot : Sol led the jedi to eliminate Mae, telling that she's drawn to the dark side. Mae, seeing the jedis against her, wants to kill the jedis. Sol discards Mae when Osha learns that it was a jedi plot and is fueled with distrust towards Jedis. Osha kills some jedis wanting to avenge her sister and then learns about Sol and has no choice but to be taken as an apprentice.
