I've always loved Thundercats, so I'm really enjoying these breakdowns. BTW, Tygra should actually be the biggest being based off a tiger but still a cool character.

Bruh. By adding Thundercats you are definitely wading into new depths of coolness.

I am showing my age but who remembers back in the ‘80s when Lion-O had to beat all the Thundercats to actually become King? That was some of the best comic book action I have ever seen!

Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it. All the ThunderCats deserve a 10 out of 10. Tygra was always tied with Panthro for my second favorite ThunderCat; Lion-O obviously being my first. Loved the whole scientist warrior thing he had going on. And the fact that he chose to stay behind on Third Earth to protect it speaks volumes about his character. I really loved the version of him we got in the 2011 reboot too. He came across as a bit more of a cocky smartass, but I didn't mind that. I also really loved his tragic backstory, and how the show delved deep into his relationship with Lion-O. He may have felt overlooked and cast aside because he wasn't Claudus' blood son and that the throne should have been his, but he never abandoned his brother and stood by him through everything. That moment when Tygra asked himself what he was going to lose next, and Lion-O replied, "You'll never lose me, Brother" still gets me.

Tygra has always been one of my favorite Thunder cats (along with Cheetara and the Thunder kids).

Fantastic video. I’ve never seen a Tygra specific breakdown video before. I remember being young & wondering whether Tygra was invisible or teleporting but I quickly figured it out. These video series’ are reigniting my love of the Thundercats.

Tygra is also the most diplomatic of them. It was typically him that formed alliances with other races of 3rd Earth.

I love Thundercats!!! I will always remember Tygra 🐯 being the architect, and genius of the Thundercats in the original 1985 series. In the 2011 series, they made Tygra the adoptive brother of Lion-O 🦁!

So again great video but slight correction I should point out about him being "convinced" to fight Lion-O. Mumm-Ra tricked him by leading them into a very dark forest and pretending Lion-O was following him to rob him and they attacked each other without knowing, this activated the Curse of Balthas which robbed the Sword of its Power and thus allowed Tygra to break it since it cannot be used to attack a fellow Thundercat even if Lion-O was unaware he was attacking one of them. Sorry to keep correcting like this but a huge fan of the original Thundercats and actually a few weeks ago finished a binge of the series

This is my second favorite Thundercat...to be honest Tygra really tied with Panthro for me (totally agree with Andrew Garrett in the comments on this matter). I always loved Tygra's, cool demeanor, level headed, very smart, slow to anger style. I also loved that like all of the Thundercats, they supported one another, especially Lion-O as their leader; always teaching and again supporting not trying to over throw, more like a family. I say again bro, and again and again but very much so mean it each and every time; you can't help but bring the greatness...again, every time. May the blessings of GOD continue to shine in you, keep bring us this greatness, I love it and I appreciate you for it; keep being and doing you, my brother. Wasn't an accident Lion-O grew up, suspension capsule only slows the aging process, not halt it And tygras whips power had nothing to do with the sword breaking, the curse of balthaz broke it because the sword was used on a fellow thundercat
