In today's video we will try to answer one of the biggest questions of the DLC trailer, Who is under the lion costume. #eldenring #shadowoftheerdtree #miquella
Worth noting that the dragon communion altar has a carving of a lion on it, which is quite interesting regarding the relation between the lion dancers and dragons. Hope you enjoyed ❤
You are fast becoming my go-to Elden Ring lore channel. Your theories and the connections you find are spot on and blindingly obvious once revealed. Your attention to detail and observations of things others have glossed over is amazing. And that's no mean feat against so many other Elden Ring lore creators!
excellent vid. you can tell a lot of thought at research has gone into this. I can't wait till the DLC, I always enjoy to see how my speculations of the lore fits with others. so I have to subscribe to see what you found. you found more connections to The Crucible and the Omen in the trailer than I realized.
If you are able to find the most recent videos of people playing the “Jar Dungeon” the final boss I believe is one of the figures under the lion costume. You are even able to see their face and horns! It performs the same lighting and breath attacks in the same manner as the lion boss.
I deadass think thats miquella's shadow as we dont see miquellas shadow (i personally belive the baleful shadow at the entrance to the lake of rot is malenias shadow)
Its most likely two or more Omen that have been grafted together (the front and back are too in sync for it to not be a single entity) that is then possessed by the Divine Beast
With those blunt elongated top and bottom teeth and placement of the glowing eyes in relation to those teeth, along with a few familiar chomp and slam attacks - it looks a *lot* like a Demi-Human Queen at the head being supported by various Omen. If the eyes were purple I’d swear it is D-H Queen Margot, the boss of Volcano Cave (or any of the Queens in general - maybe even the dead one in Kenneth Haight’s place). The attacks and movement are very similar. We know D-H Queens can use magic, and were in fact learning it from mages.
So it's like omen siamese twins? With grafted parts on it? Not gonna lie, this thing looks sick. But I know its gonna be like fighting a putrid avatar lol
5:02 what about the dragonhead and the fire giant head at the waist/hip height , some kind of trophys? 3:12 what about the two denture/teeth one human, one animal?
Taking the heads of their enemies would make perfect sense at a war situation, this proves the theory even further. The outside jaw belong to the lion costume while the inner one doesn't look human at all, tried to compare it to Morgott teeth but we dont have a shot of that while mohg teeth is embracing that demonic vibe so it cant be compared.
With how important eyes and the colours of people's eyes are, I wonder what the implication of the Lion's eye colour is. Maybe I'm misremembering but I think they are similar to Roderika's, which Hewg comments on being the same hue as another spirit tuner he once knew. Or maybe its just coincidence and looks cool lol
