Love watching you guys! I’m 50 and my husband 54 and we are planning our nomadic lifestyle! Don’t think I’ll be rock climbing but it’s never too late! We’ve travelled a lot internationally and we are Brit expats living in florida the past 19 years and planning on seeing a lot more of the USA. Keep up the great job!
It was great hearing your back story. My wife and I met at church youth group as well. That was back in New Zealand. Now we live in Canada and RV full time (but I'd say we're in the States and Mexico close to 50 % of the time). 😎
We know you were headed to NC from Alaska and we were just wanting to ask and see if you all are ok. We pray that the storm missed you and your family.
I just recently found your channel. My wife and I are planning on purchasing a motorhome ASAP and start traveling so we're learning all we can from watching videos. Y'all have quickly become one of our faves. I was so happy to hear y'all mention church and staying with it while traveling. That is a high priority for us as we travel. We certainly enjoy seeing the dogs in the videos. We have 2 small dogs that will be traveling with us too. Keep up the good work and safe travels. Hope you have a blessed day
Rough Roads Tear up RV’s so u might look into A Better Suppior for the Travel trailer The axle Suppion are built real cheap so try upgrading Axle suppiton..
What an amazing life you two live. You've done an excellent job! Most importantly you have God as the center of your relationship. I know He loves you both very much. ❤️
My Family (Me, Wife and Daughter) are getting close to launching. Just wrapping up as much as I can on the RV and the truck. We are planning allot of boondocking, thus lots of LiFePO4 and solar. I'll be working (IT) as we go, so longer stays is key. We are hoping this provides a great experience for our Daughter (20, Disabled) allowing her to experience more in life than just electronic devices!!
Good for you guys, see it and experience it while your young. It's a new world out there compared to when I was growing up. So many opportunities to work on the road now. The truck I tow with I purchased in 2008 lol.
I found you and i subscribed August 2024.....wow...YOU are Awesome! Thankyou so much for sharing your RV Life Style with us! Wow! You both are such amazing people and you capture the love of adventure in every video! Positivity reigns...in everything...and you both emanate this energy! Such an uplifting day when i can see one of your videos!!!! Keep up the adventures...and your beautiful smiles...and adventurous spirit!!!!
Lovely story kids. But I really wanted to see the finished product on the stuffed peppers! 😉 On a side note your relationship reminds my of ours. We met in high school, got married right after and now full time in an RV. However our full time adventure didn't start until we were in out 50's. Love your channel and safe travels!!
Great video and I can tell you why you have a lot of problems with the RV. I own a Dutchman Colorado and Dutchman is one of the cheapest poorest constructed RV out there. I have learned a lot with this RV but I will never own another made by Dutchman. I would rather have my teeth pulled. Lol. Stay safe and God bless.
You two have become my favorite full timers to follow. There are so many rV park reviewers and it gets old. I love that you show what to do in an area and that you actually go on adventures! Keep it going!
Bonjour, yes my spouse and i are Canadien and also french from the province of Québec, We do enjoy your chanel especialy because we ordered our Brinkley Z3100 in january and delivery in april. You are very interesting and it is à Joy to hear from you. You take care Diane and Denis.
I just found your channel and I watched this video first so I can get to know you. I enjoyed your video and love a lot about your style, especially the faith aspect and not being ashamed of sharing that. I look forward to binging your videos
Thank you for this video! I really enjoy watching you guys and your adventures! I also appreciate the fact that you try to find churches and or worship services to stay strong in your faith! I hope that God will bless you with years to come as long as you can!!
that was a good video. on the dog hair when you bath them use a good conditioner and as soon as they are dry brush them out. a good conditioner makes it a lot easier to brush them I have a chow and brush him once a week in shedding time it keeps the house in good shape.
We need to do better about conditioning and using the furminator brushes more regularly. When we do use them it’s like we practically get enough fur to make a whole new dog 😆
So cool to watch your video as we are emabrking on this beautiful journey of going full time RV living and we are learing so much from you. Question for you, the camera you are using to film yourself in the truck and when you walk, is it a GoPro or your mobile phone? because the quality is pretty nice.... Thanks for your time and keep showing us how life is on the road of r the good and the bad !
Yes! We’ve got a video we’re going to do soon that breaks down our whole solar setup, but specifically for our fridge, it runs on propane or electric. We run it on propane mostly when boondocking but can switch it to electric during the daytime when the sun is out (we just have to remember to switch it to propane once it gets dark since our battery bank isn’t so big)
Y'all are just the coolest! We are nearing retirement age and wondering why we didn't do this sooner. I would love to know more about your editing software, cameras, mics etc. Hope to see y'all on the road someday- Papa Joe
thank you!! and that's exiciting!! it's a great lifestyle. Craig uses Davinci Resolve for editing, we film on my iphone 14 pro and use DJI wireless mics. We also have a DJI mini 3 pro drone and a Go Pro that we sometimes use as well.
Love your videos and seeing the realistic view of RV life with real problems and issues that pop up. We’ve been full time for about 2 years now ourselves. Love the budget spreadsheet as well btw. Just had to alter the date formula for 2024.
I sure wish we could have done this, never even crossed our radar. I’m in a family business and so that pretty much grounded us. We could have done this I suppose just the opportunity just wasn’t there. We’re hoping to retire within a year or so and hit the road. We’ll keep a sticks and bricks but will spend a lot of time on the road. I can’t wait really. We have our 5th wheel, waiting on a dually truck.
Honestly we never really thought of realllyyyy doing this either until one day we were just like “hey we could make this happen” and then threw caution to the wind I guess 😆 and that’s so exciting! Lots of good times ahead for ya!
Have you ever thought about changing your truck for one of the new EV’s hitting the market? Personally looking at the Silverado ev because it can be used like a power bank for the RV. Second question How do you get around for small travel things like a store? Do you unhook and take the truck, or do you use something else like an e-bike?
Really enjoying your channel. I met you both at the hot tub in Hawaiian Isle. I saw you have stayed at Patapsco Valley State Park in the past and are looking to stay there. We both work FT remotely and wondering if you could let us know how the cell coverage is in the park. TIA for your reply. Maybe we'll see you at the hot tub again before you leave.
I have become hooked on watching your videos and channel. I’m not an RVer, but I enjoy watching you guys. Y’all are hilarious and always make me laugh!
Well I adore you both so much, I appreciate all the work you put into your channel. Now I get why Craig is absolutely invaluable at fixing all the broken issues with your home. I just love how you support each other and play off each other. When you respect each other as you do it's a beautiful thing. Your beautiful people inside and obviously out. Keep up the amazing journey
Love watching you live your life. It’s so much fun to watch everyone cross the Canadian Border. Love your honesty about you thoughts on a city or situation. Craig, did you say you never that stern as a correction officer when talking about the border agent?
If you guys didn’t get so bored maybe your rig would stop falling apart (giving you something to do) and you could do other things! 😃. My wife and I aren’t full time but we are on the road about three months out of the year with our fifth wheel. Our goal was to ride our bicycles in all 50 states which we finally accomplished last year! We’ve seen a lot of awesome bike trails around the country and a few not-so-awesome. We also visit wineries in every state. Been to some beautiful wineries and tasted many, many ah did I say mention wines in our travels. Had to build a bigger wine rack at home last year to hold our favorites. Just for those that would ask, we did not take our fifth wheel to Alaska or Hawaii, those trips were done via cruise ships and we had to rent bikes for those excursions. Did find a cool winery in Hawaii but had to settle for the Alaskan Brewery in Alaska which was pretty great too. Anyway we really enjoy your adventures to keep on keepin’ on and stay safe!
It was such a pleasure meeting you both at the FL Super RV Show last month. We were parked next to you in the Tiffin. Thanks for telling your story and we look forward to many more episodes.
Another good video. Watching Craig struggle with that onion is it safe to say a cooking video series is not in his future, lol? You're right, we are surrounded with neighbors but don't socialize. My wife is a people person and she likes to meet people when she does her Camp Hosting gig in her rv.
Lol I don’t know…”Cooking with Craig” has a certain ring to it doesn’t it? 😂🤣 and it’s so true, I don’t know what it is but people are just more friendly and social in the campground 😄
@@wildrvlife I just turned 80. When I was young, in the 1950's, my parents would go visit in the evenings and the kids would play in a room. Was at my daughters awhile back. Walked around her neighborhood one evening and noticed everyone holed up inside watching TV. Bingo, that's what people do now. Guess I'm guilty of the times. Hey, I get to watch your videos. PS,I call it my wife's rv because I'm not into camping anymore. She goes with her Rottie and German Shepherd. I stay home with the chickens and my Rottie.
Good for you kids! I'm 62, my wife and I have been married 41 years. I'm retiring in 31 months and we are hitting the road. Already full time in our class A. Looking forward to the adventures, you two are inspiring. God Bless and Thanks for sharing 😎 ✌️
Curious why you decided to go to Mexico? So much to see state side. I mean don’t get me wrong I love Mexico and an all inclusive resort, never thought about going there to camp. Good luck you guys. Will be following your adventures
Honestly it’s because there’s not really anywhere you can go in the US and stay right on the beach for free or like $10. We wanted to experience the new culture and see all the beautiful natural landscapes. And Craig surfs and so it’s quite a fun experience being able to wake up and walk out your front door and go surfing. More for the boondocking available here than the campgrounds
We have two miniature and a toy Australia Shepherds, we know what you are talking about with the hair. We usually get them shaved every 3 or so months. This last time was 6 months and the hair was crazy. You should try it once.
Y’all, please don’t stop doing what you’re doing! Love the content, and I can’t wait opening up RU-vid and seeing y’all posted a new video! I’m living through you two. Have a blessed day!!!!
My wife and I love watching you two, we live in the Knoxville area of Tennessee, let us know if you have a get together in our area we’d love to come and meet you guys.
Love your content and hope you keep it up! I love that you are not ashamed of your faith either! My wife and I met at church when I was 10 and she was 8, this March will be 10 years married and she is still my best friend and travel partner! If you are like us serving other through the Love of Christ is important. We travel and serve (almost full time) with an organization called eight days of hope you should check it out we would love to meet up with y’all at an event down the road.
I can't imagine the debt you are in and I really can't imagine the frustration you have with all the breakdowns. I was considering buying a Brinkley because it was supposed to be so different from the other junk on the road but after watching everything break on it and being told the air conditioners are junk i would never buy one. A brand new unit at a premium price and all you have is trouble. I really feel for you.
We will be at the Harvest Hosts booth hosting a Fireside Chat on Friday, January 19 at 3 PM. They are sharing a booth with Cummins Power South, which is behind the Intech RV area (officially called the 285 Lakeside E booth). Hope we can see you there or some other time, we’ll be around most afternoons at the show Wednesday - Saturday, but that’s our only official meet time.
Hello, I believe it was in one of your videos that you showed a printout about driving and/or police rules to have on hand in case they try to bribe you. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Heading down there in the fall :)
Yes! Here it is: www.discoverbaja.com/wp-content/uploads/TRAFFIC-VIOLATIONS.pdf And some other important stuff in this video and links in the description: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fkNDR0umCNU.html
Question do you have the landing gear down or is it the camera, wind, seems rig is rocking just noticed no big deal just a question, great videos great content.
It was actually the tripod we were using. It’s a “monopod” and we don’t usually have it extended all the way out, but when reviewing our footage we discovered that’s something we shouldn’t do 😆
We really enjoy your videos and your story and the fact that you guys share your faith. If you ever find yourself traveling through south Mississippi, stop in and join us for church! Since y’all like to watch services online, I’ll drop a link to our church yt channel. youtube.com/@TheSpringsChurch
@@wildrvlife Roast them until they have some char. Remove them from the roaster and place them into a plastic bag for a few minutes. This will cause them to sweat and the skins will peel right off super easy. After stuffing, you could place them in a pan and cover them with a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes and cheese. Bake them until the cheese melts
I too love that you're open about your faith and it's importance to you. I enjoy watching you guys -you're in Alaska as I write this. I found you about the time you headed to Alaska so I'm catching up on your older posts. Love your pups too.
Being together for 15 years, my wife and I have been married nearly 29. It was our desire to travel in a motor home or a fifth wheel, but God had other plans fir us.
I am so happy for you guys. Are you having a wonderful time and full time RV life also be careful don’t cut one of your fingers because that happens to my wife a lot. God bless you guys and I hope I can meet you sometime in California. That’s what I leave in Orange County California and God bless.
@@wildrvlife sounds good guys. Keep having a good time full time, RV, life also I don’t know how far from San Felipe Baja are you guys staying we love San Felipe, Baja.
