hey ! I don't know if it's the right place but i had a problem with my order of 2 mini Mr Sheeps, i sent an email to the shop and never got an answer😢 Nice video as usual ! It's really sad to see this abandoned Citroën SM. I think this car is quite rare in the USA.
Been away from LA for eight years, never got caught in traffic at LAX. How times have changed. crazy. Would love to know the history of those abandoned cars. Great vid.
I just don't understand how it is 10:36pm, on a WEDNESDAY, and there is LA traffic? Granted its in a Airport terminal. But, god dam... thats just crazy.
2:05 is a Citroen-Maserati SM. Maserati engine, Citroen hydropneumatic suspension, one of the most exotic cars of the early '70s and this one's an original US-spec car with uncovered sealed-beam headlights and side marker lights. European models had a full-width clear bubble across the front over the headlights and front license plate of which US cars only had the center section, clouded up on this one (so someone's driven the hell out of it!)
I’ll start sounding like a broken record soon. But man there is something about the combination of Gordon’s filming style, he’s narration and style of talking to the camera and explaining things and the crazy stuff that happens in LA that is just a match made in heaven!. Like I’m sure there is probably other people that do similar but you know when your onto a good thing because it just doesn’t get old. Because the crazy happenings in LA are always different and it is a unique style Gordon has that makes these videos so good. The seeking out crazy, weird stuff happening, the GTA server stuff mixed in is just great. I can’t really explain myself very well. Just these videos alone as brilliant let alone all the car stuff ontop!. Flipping superb.
Yo bro Just a tip for you when you record in low light. Disable the auto fps setting, so you get smoother video even in low light. Settings - camera - record video - auto fps off Keep up the gta documentaries 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Appreciate the effort you put into all these great vids! I wonder if any of these abandoned cars get stolen, because criminals must like the idea of having loads of time before the cars are reported stolen..
I worked for a school and any car donated by the manufacturer had to be destroyed at a scrap yard and witnessed by someone official--can't remember who had to certify, but nothing could come off the car either.
Hey bro, the mercedes cars at around the 7:30 mark are likely buybacks due to warranty issues. When something goes wrong with the cars, corporate buys them back from the customer and they get branded as lemons and sold at auctions. Same thing happened to my 392 Wrangler after my engine exploded after only 6k miles.
Wild these people don't pay for boutique car storage, maybe they own the buildings. Check out the garage at Soho West Hollywood and The Beverly Hills Hotel (the private garage)- some special stuff there.
Either they are stolen waiting to be shipped off to another country or state or they are hiding from creditors. Can also be a collector who has no storage facility
12:07 Smart move going with a blue half a shade lighter on the Urus. Those look enough like a RAV4 without being painted a color close to Toyota "Blue Flame" (great color on a Corolla hatchback though, especially an XR with the all-silver rims).
Those cars are not abandoned the owners pay for long-term parking meaning they live in an apartment, so they don’t have no parking areas around it and plus it’s safer in a parking structure like that because there’s security there
I don't what idiots you think car thieves are, but only a fool would swipe property from someone that rich and powerful. Beige Camrys get stolen by pro's, not 1 of 3 examples in the world, to be more Logical. I just don't like your laugh. That's why I typed this. You laugh funny.
france edition on the senna I think , I know most koenigseggs rarely work , but the regera actually is well put together and is the 1 relabile koenigsegg from what I ve heard
Do you guys know why you see all the “Montana” plates? It’s the Montana loophole: out of state people can have a llc set up and pay 0 sales tax. The combination of zero sales tax, no inspections, permanent registration options, and the convenience of using a Montana LLC for out-of-state residents
When I was going to George Washington university, I lived w a Qatari prince. One of his friends visited from Qatar bought a Camaro during his two month visit, heavily modified it and went back to Qatar. Prince said he was coming back soon he never did. After couple of months I drove it around for a bit so the battery wouldn’t die, until It became my daily before the registration was expired 😭 . I have a story of them renting a mustang for a month modified it 30k worth and returning it after should have seen the dudes face 🤣 Being in teens w diplomatic immunity it w multiple high powered cars had some crazy memories
I am certain that what I "find in a parking garage" is someone else's property. A car that has been parked over grass for an extended period of time is the exact opposite of a 'good project car'.
Man I can't really comprehend how are there so many super and hypercars in random parking lots Like, do the owners of those cars don't really care about them getting scraped or damaged?
They are likely investments. Buy them at list because you have a relationship with the manufacturer, then sit them in the garage on a charger until you’re ready to sell. The Hyper cars are instant profit if you buy them at list.
Can’t imagine owning 50mil worth of luxury and hypercars and keeping them in a dusty LA parking garage. If I had money for cars like that I’d be in the middle of nowhere driving them down long empty country backroads
Wonder if it was like Minneapolis airport that had abandoned cars. Pretty common for companies to bring employees over from other countries. They would give them a car allowance. They would buy nice cars, drive them for a year and then when they went back home, they would park them at the airport, unlocked, with keys and titles sitting on the seat. I knew airline pilots and flight attendants who would regularly walk the parking lots looking for abandoned cars. Several got nearly new cars for free.
Your channel reminds me of the good old days in my early 20's where me and my friends would aimlessly drive and lurk around LA for hours at a time looking for crazy shit. Saw some fun stuff, did some even more fun stuff myself though. RIP Blue Flash.
12:25 does anyone knows any backstory on this collection?, like why would the owner just park them like this in the open for anyone to walk to them and not have like a security around it?.
...I suspect that some people have multiple homes, and leave their cars for extended periods while they are in another city. Some of these same people die without letting their heirs know where they left their cars...
@effspot 7:30 that sticker means it was bought back under the lemon law, i used to put those stickers on ecodiesel RAM 1500's all the time in my days at Chrysler
All those Mercedes are buy-backs from clients who had problems with it and the dealer can't solve the problems on it. Them older Mercedes is maybe export cars with problems or lots of mileage
the signs where the mclarens and bentleys are parked at 2:40 says o’gara coach which is an auto dealership in beverly hills so they’re just sitting waiting to be bought
I call BS on that last parking garage, of those cars being abandoned there! Starting with the obvious. Look at how they're parked! Secondly what's with all the cords and wires surrounding all of those particular cars but none of the rest the cars in the garage have a bunch or cords around and are parked accordingly?
I worked security in Miami high rises condos for years I ran across these types of cars all the time. They’re not abandoned like this video would like you to believe. A lot of them are not driven left in the parking garage by the owner on a battery tender because they are nothing more than an investment for their portfolio. Most likely to be sold at a later date sad.
i work at MB of thousand oaks and those unauthorized cars are cars where the repair was to expensive and the dealer bought it back…i might be wrong LOL
Im pretty sure all those hypercars and luxury cars at the end are/were O’gara’s inventory. I could be wrong, but their parking lots are so small (at their beverly hills dealerships), they would have no choice but to store some inventory at an off site location.
Damn whoever's driving that Lamborghini Countach have some serious security with them two SUVs behind them in a black Cadillac car across the street is he's pulling out that dude some sort of royalty
None of those vehicles especially that Mercedes you think will fetch a pretty penny really is probably in horrendous condition. If it’s been sitting theee for more than six months might as well forget it it will brakes shot the rust will be real bad if there is any moisture at all and the mice, squirrels etc have definitely hit some places that you wouldn’t want them probably far better off just getting a new 800cca battery maybe a jump pack a 5 to 10 gallon tank of premium gas maybe some gas additive and 5 to 9 quarts of decent 5w30 depending on which of the rolls or jags you hop into with a oil filter, drain the oils stuff add the new change the filter, add the gas and the additive , change the battery and start that baddy up and drive it home.
Man. This pisses me off so much. Literally millions of dollars of cars, of capital, just sitting. These millionaires and billionaires with so much money they're just letting these things rot, meanwhile the rest of us are fucked. Pisses me off so much. It's like letting food rot in front of starving people.
@@mmhthree A plate that can be hacked. What could go wrong with that? With the commercial plates they put the letter in the 6th position. I wonder if they will move the letters to the back of the digits, or just go to 10 as the first 2 digits.
@@mexicanspec I bet it'd be gorgeous though.. probably animated. As with everything, it'd for sure be hacked lol Just re-read your post.. you meant the number of characters. I thought you meant they had gotten better looking over the years hehe =)
@@mmhthree The best looking California plate, at least within the white ones, was the 1984 - 1987 Sunrise plate. Some idiot legislator at the time didn't sign where he needed to in order to fund the design past 1987. At least that made the pate more rare these days.
