This seems to be a given for pretty much any religion. I had discussions about their religion and the bible with _so_ many christians and so often they would not believe me when I quoted the bible in order to make or underline a point, for instance when I quoted two or more parts of the bible which directly contradict each other. And in each of those cases it turned out that they've never read the bible, let alone properly. And this is something I don't get. Everyone must come to his or her own conclusions, true, but at least know the damn book your religion and thus your life, moral values and how you treat other people are based on! It is quite pathetic when the people opposing your religion know it better than yourself.

The Aorta is the main artery leaving your heart that takes blood everywhere except your lungs for oxygen (that blood comes from the other side of your heart). An aortic dissection is when the inner and outer layers of a blood vessel separate and blood fills up in between them (almost like an aneurysm but going inwards and outwards). The damage and conditions that lead to it can happen over an extended period of time. As for when the dissection happens, if it ruptures you wont make it to the hospital. If it doesn’t rupture, usually what happens is it blocks the artery (partially or completely) because blood is getting trapped between the inner/outer layers which makes an expanding pocket. The severity and time course depends on where the dissection happens and how much is blocked. The closer to the heart the worse it is. A full blockage in the arch (near the heart) will cut off all blood flow to the brain so you can imagine that would happen pretty fast. Conversely, a partial blockage lower down would greatly reduce/cut off blood flow to the lower half of the body. If untreated, this would be a fairly slow (and agonizing) death because it would initially spare heart/breathing/brain while your digestive organs and lower extremities die.
