It's an amazing game that came out of nowhere. Pokemon has gotten boring and stale, hopefully this will make them step their game up.

One thing I think this game gets people hooked is being able to do things you couldn't with Pokemon, is being able to do more with the monsters. Actually see them fly and ride different ones and not just one monster per utility.

I could forgive the old schools gameplay of Pokemon games if the performance and monster designs were still up to par. As you said, most profitable gaming franchise ever and they can't even make a game that runs at 30fps without crashing 😂

I wish they put more creative energy into the landscape. The environment looks like a default unity game. Which, so does Eden ring and Sonic frontiers. With how cartoony and pokemon the visuals are, not working on the visuals of the landscape to be more unique or consistent with the art style is weird.
