does no one remember that if you listen to radios playing at weapons shops in outposts you hear that north korea pulled out of a nuclear deal and tensions are rising
Of course we remember, at least I am betting most do. This is what we call the art of misdirection. This diverts your attention from an important clue by offering a alternative explanation. In your scenario, you would have to believe that just by mere happenstance, NK just happened to launch their nuke, and not just one, but all 3, to Hope County, Montana at the very moment that the Father loses his battle and gives his little speech, all while knowing full well, he has control of 3 missile silos in the county. In order for his legacy to be upheld, they have to go off at his will. How you choose to interpret that is up to you, is it created by Joseph himself, or do you believe he has divine will, or do you believe that by mere circumstance that NK would actually launch 3 nukes into an off-the-grid rural countryside as opposed to strategic launching generally populated or politically populated cities. Me, personally, I see this as part of the mandate by Joseph himself, in that he has shown through the game that he is trying to execute long term plans for his vision.
@@Joy-bl3ftYou do realize Montana would be a strategically important target to hit due to the presence of nuclear missile silos... like, for example, the decommisioned Cold War silos that the Seed family took over. Which are literally the targets that get nuked at the end of the game... And the radio broadcasts at the end of the game hint that going to be a full blown nuclear armaggeddon, not just NK firing nukes due to Moscow being destroyed in a conventional missile attack.
The question is, since montana was bombed what happened to the rest of the nation? Because in New Dawn we can travel to, other places and it looks like chaos hit across the US. And South Asia since, you can find a map in the swamp that shows what probably are nuclear attacks.
That is just a fucked up spoiler. What the actual fuck? The fact that this is on a short is even worse. No warning, just a plain summary of what happens in the very end with no remorse or hesitation. I hope both sides of your pillow are warm.
I feel like Ubisoft games are connected some how so maybe division 2 shows what happened too the rest of the world it makes sense tho cause in division they lose New York so maybe the world went too hell and that’s what happened it just connects a little because Ubisoft put Sam fisher suit in new dawn so idk maybe have too do something with rainbow six or the wildlands or maybe nukes just went off we won’t know they dont explain that good lol 😂
The WHOLE country was nuked bro it legit says it in multiple journals around hope county I don't think many here actually played New Dawn or at least never understood what happened , all of America was destroyed the twins even came from the East Coast because they ran out of food and the land was in ruins and chaos
Considering all 3 silos were empty where the missiles go, I'm wagering they were stolen by the seeds and somehow put on timers or a kill switch. Like a really spicy c4.
No, Joseph just heard the news of the nuclear attack in Russia and knew the retaliation was coming. That or he nuked Russia. I don't like to believe he actually has that much power though, I like to believe that Joseph is a man that knows how to use the things happening around him to his own advantage. Like any cult leader he uses your uncertainty to convince you that he is the only certainty.
It just doesn't make sense it stretches beyond my ability to suspend disbelief. If those silos were functional there's no way that valley isn't crawling with US Army, Delta force, the CIA, FBI hell even the DEA. The only thing that kept them safe was seclusion and staying off the radar just enough to be ignored.
I have a bit of information. There were 3 nukes seen going off in the background. There were also 3 bunkers owned by each of the seed siblings. In both games, there are quests that have you go through vertical tunnels to escape the compounds. You might also remember that the bottoms of these tunnels are filled with water. In missil silos, water is often put in the bottom of missile launch silos. Therefore, I think that the nukes were part of Joseph's plan, so that if he was ever defeated, all he had to do was give the signal (ae his speech he gave before they went off) and it would seem as if God destroyed the world, right on que. Also note that if you choose to walk away, then it cuts to months later. You are in a truck with Whitehorse, and the world is not post apocalyptic. You never defeated Joseph and he never has to play his final card. Thanks for reading this far. If you've got any other ideas about what happened, don't be afraid to share them 😊
You're wrong about the second ending, the 4 sheriffs ride off in the truck but then only you plays over the radio and it cuts to black, assuming player killed the others. Then you start right back up on Joseph's island.
@@tannerewing8185 every cult leader has a fail safe it's less likely that any of the world powers with nukes would nuke Montana of all places and although difficult it would be possible if the cult leader has enough members in the military to lose a nuke or something similar as in 2013 we accidentally left some nukes unguarded in LA for a month because someone filed out a transfer form wrong
I’m pretty sure even I’m the game Joseph talks about owning a few nuke silos at some point or at least knowing where they were, I’m pretty sure we can just barley figure out he’s got nukes on hand.
You're incorrect on the second ending. When you choose the option to leave Hope County, the cutscene doesn't take place months later. It happens immediately after you've made the selection. But, as soon as you start driving away from Joseph's Compound, the song that was used to indoctrinate you starts playing, with the scene fading to black, with the others asking you (the player) what's going on and if you're OK. It is probably safe to assume that, in the end, you killed your friends.
Honestly the whole nuke thing wasnt created until the dlc for far cry 6, so i believe joseph launched them in the wake of his defeat, since we never actually see a bomb drop, only the explosion.
Yeah I always assumed the cult set it off. They could’ve stolen or built one since they have spies outside of hope county and they have a lot of resources, Montana also contains many nuclear bomb silos
They also showed Vaas watching TV, where Joseph appears talking about the "definition of INSANITY" And then, vaas shoots him (the TV), implying the identity of the person vaas shot.
Farcry new dawn pretty much confirms the whole planet was nuked. I think the line from pagan min was simply an Easter egg towards the game to come. It hinted that it was in Montana and also that there would be nukes in it. Not that specifically Montana alone was being nuked.
@@nicolae-alexandruluca7853to be fair. we rarely heard of global politics in far cry universe so we have to assume that North Korea went apeshit and boom.
the US government would have just sent in the national guard or if that didn't work they would send in the marines or army probably with air support. not nuke there own country
They would have sent the guard or ATF to serve the arrest warrant for Joseph Seed. Some powerful politician, possibly the president, was covering up the cult activity.
In far cry new dawn you can find a government plane that has a screen that shows the world map and it shows where nukes has been dropped and it shows that nukes have been fired on the USA and on China so that means that American and China had a nuclear war
It's annoying how so many people still think far cry 5's ending was orchestrated by Joseph or "only Montana is nuked and the rest of the world is fine" Just because Joseph had access to 3 bunkers doesn't mean the nukes were there. Literally all three bunkers and silos were destroyed by the end, and if there was nukes there, you'd of seen them. They were empty and abandoned, and the seeds converted them to be safe havens. Joseph Seed may have been a charismatic man, but I highly doubt the entire US Government were in his pocket to just unleash nukes just because he said so. There are too many checks and balances and he doesn't have that kind of pull. His entire cult is made up of former convicts and people down on their luck. New Dawn confirmed from Sam Fisher's notes left behind at the Paladin expedition that North Korea unleashed their arsenal and all other nations unleashed theirs as well. The fact the map in Paladin shows the impact sites across the US prove this. I think it's entirely possible someone could've hijacked the nukes in Kyrat and launched them, looking at the Same Fisher tie ins from Ghost Recon Wildlands, where he directly mentions he is tracking someone who stole nukes, but I doubt it would be Ajay. Ajay probably isn't even doing much in Kyrat, or he just abandoned the country altogether and left. Sabal and Amita are likely both dead, but neither cared about world affairs enough to literally start a nuclear Holocaust. I think it's more likely an unknown party accessed them and might've sparked North Korea to send their arsenal by launching Kyrat's nuke towards them. The FC6 reveal that Pagin had nukes pointed at Montana just sounds to me like a lazy writer trying to make a connection between games that originally wasn't there. Humoring it though, I could see whoever in Kyrat launching a nuke at the US, which caused every other nation to panic and start sending theirs, including North Korea, creating a domino effect. Otherwise it just doesn't mesh with the rest of the details describing what happened.
@@Savagem8 “Joseph Seed” possesses an understanding that those around him refuse to accept. If you pay CLOSE attention, the Seeds and their following are the GOOD GUYS. They preach self-righteous religious sounding crap but it’s clear the dude knows something. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t be powerful while giving no literal fucks. You don’t just get a cult following preaching the same old tired religious crap that all the churches preach.. no, you’d have to break their reality with an undeniable truth. Games tell the truths of this world. I wish I could make you understand what Peaches the cougar represents and what the townsfolk are TRULY referencing when they talk about her. You may have picked up on the references to vaginas but they’re actually referencing one particular vagina. My God. That taxidermy is a GROTESQUE mockery of something that’s occurring as we speak..
@@Savagem8 nah definitely don’t inquire. Just assume I’m “on” something. It’s cool, eyes to the sky and absolutely fucking WAIL once your newest pixel god appears...🍿
So no ones gonna talk about the fact that " Glorious Morning " is playing in the background? from " Age Of War " absolute mega W for those who remembers that game
So I think that there are multiple timelines in Far Cry. Let me explain. So if in Far Cry 4 you wait at the begging and stay with Pagan, Ajay will become his protogé, basically they'll rule Kyrat together and drop the nukes on the USA as Pagan wanted. This triggers the normal ending of Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn as a sequel. However if Ajay beats Pagan and takes over as the new king of Kyrat without him he disarms the nukes leading to the walk away ending of Far Cry 5 wich sees the national guard pull up and kick the peggies out of Montana. This leads to Far Cry 6 being a sequel, as Dani has the chance to escape to Miami which was a nuclear wasteland in New Dawn.
Good theory, but it’s not entirely right. Yes, if Ajay sides with pagan or leaves Amita and sabal alive, nukes are dropped. Far cry 6 confirms that the seed family is alive years after Fc5s events in a note. So the events of fc5s beginning never happened.
@@zartharn1613 and most likely they would hold they’re cult and survive in the bunkers due to nukes. The nukes don’t go away because of walking away. Amita and sabal cause the nukes not Joseph
@@WinterWolf_Edits probably not. Sabal wants a traditional Kyrat so there's no way he'd just randomly nuke the greatest world power for shits and giggles. Amita wants a modern country, so she would need trade with China and the US. The only way nukes are dropped is if Pagan corrupts Ajay. Also even if the Seeds survive in bunkers how can Dani chill in Miami? In New Dawn the whole of the US is a nuclear wasteland.
I think the reason farcry 5 purposely didn't give us a canon character because everything you do in that game leaves you questioning humanity, they want us to blame ourselves for what we do and not blame the character in game, they want us to feel like we're the one in the game by giving us our own character, they purposely never show our character because it represents our own perspective of the world, so the conclusion is everytime I hear "only you" I'll cull the herd
@@idontcheckrepliesstaymad958Which I find stupid that throughout the game the villains and the fc5 community itself treats it like the deputy is the villain somehow, just because the Seeds were right about the nukes. Like how dare you not get kidnapped, or killed, or allow a cult to raid, kidnap, and torture innocent people. How dare you instead NOT play the game and do the walk away ending while the cult continues murdering and torturing and drugging people.
@@anotherrandomguy8871That's my problem with the ending: it feels like the screenwriters wanted to lecture and punish us simply because we played a game THEY MADE. "The world is on fire and it's your fault", "People were murdered and it's your fault", "You'd rather see the world burn than swallow your pride". People who spent time and money in a game shouldn't be forced to listen that bullshit without being allowed to counter-argument it.
It wasn't just Montana is was a the world or the in tire USA (SPOILERS FOR NEW DAWN) because at the beginning of new dawn you and everyone else were traveling the coast
There's no way those were nukes, because you drive through the ash, and both rook and Joseph survive. Don't you think they'd get leukemia or cancer or some shit?
This is just a theory but on the radio in far cry five you can hear radio stations talking about a country (I don't know which) which was having confrontation with America and apparently threatened to send missiles or nukes (either one) to America so that's what I always thought happened but I didn't really look into it so I don't know if this is right or wrong.
Around gunsmith shops, if there’s a radio sometime you’ll get a vague warning about rising nuclear tensions with North Korea, leading me to believe they sort of want to pin it as North Korea bringing the prophecy to fruition
I like to believe that ajay definitely nuked Montana. I also like to think that pagin is alive. In the dlc for fc 6, both vass and Joseph were alive in the time that the dlc took place and pagin is a fan of body doubles so it would make sense if in the ending that you kill him it's a body double but if you spear him then it's actually pagin.
Yeah It is 1: far cry new dawn happens after nuke ending 2: in far cry 6 it's mentioned by dani (whatever her name is) 3: the devs literally confirmed it
@@YourDucking far cry new dawn isn’t cannon because in far cry 6 you can get boomer as a companion but in new dawn it says on a grave that boomer is dead and last time I checked you can’t revive a dog and ship it to a foreign country.
@Stephen White it's alright. Tbh Far Crys connections aren't very straight forward and i get confused as well😂. Especially since Far Cry 6 exists and 5 still happens to some degree.
In Joseph Seed silo when you're jumping on those platforms you're acctually jumping through a ICBM launch hole and the nuke is missing. Father planned on detonating a nuke in Hope county all along.
I refuse to believe it was Ajay, since the FC5 radios near the end of the game talk about the worsening tensions between North Korea and America. It might not of been Korea’s nukes that were used (might’ve been Pagan’s) but I believe NK shot them 100%. (also I love Ajay Ghale bye)
bro just ended my wish to play far cry 5 in the first sentence, man i dont wanna be that guy but at least write below that there will be like THE BIGGEST SPOILERS possible, thanks, no point in getting far cry anymore
His “prediction” was hardly one at all. All he did was just turn on the radio/watch the news. Throughout the game you could hear talks about tensions and stuff. It’s like looking at a pipe that has built up a lot of pressure and saying something like “this pipe will burst” all you did was state the obvious.
Its actually the Rookies's fault too (FC5 Players). Remembers when we inflitate the 3 silos, the protagonists has made a mess inside with all the fire, shooting and explosions.
I was trying to make an omlette. I put some oil on the pan and went to the fridge to bring out 2 eggs. When I came back, i saw USA flag in my pan 🙂✌ For those who didn't understand this, kindly read the history of USA, but don't go all the way back to the red indians...oops!! 🙃
Bought the game cheap and it’s soooo fucking good. Why haven’t I played the series. Ubisoft makes good games but they gotta cut the micro transactions off.
It wasn’t just Montana that was nuked. In New Dawn, you can travel to the Grand Canyon, Alcatraz, and other parts of America, and see it is all fucked.
Maybe once Ajay became king of Kyrat, the CIA came back to investigate and keep on bothering him. One he had enough, he nuke the US as retaliation or warning. He could have target a major city, but instead nuke a remote area. This is likely a warning.
Infact it was a full out nuclear war as Central Europe, Russia and large parts of Asia got nuked as well with the USA so basically it was a all out nuclear war fare as it states in far cry 5 radio. However on the Sam fisher plane in far cry new dawn it dose show India was the one who nuked USA so I think that it could be right however there was also a nuclear fall out happening as well on top.
In far cry 5, when you're in a car or truck, you can get a chance of a man who sounds like Hendricks from Call of duty black ops 3 and he says that USA and North Korea are having a nuclear war and that some of North Koreas nukes are heading to Hannah Montana Hope County
The nuke ending in Far Cry 5 is not canon. I do believe that the secret ending (where you didn't arrest Joseph at the start of the game) is canon. 'Coz boomer is alive in Far Cry 6. Boomer is dead in Far Cry New Dawn and New Dawn is a what if scenario if you choose the nuke ending (resisting Joseph).
The whole country was nuked bro have you never played New Dawn ?? It says in multiple journals around hope county that the country was in famine and chaos , rushes group literally went around the country rebuilding the country because it was destroyed
The alphabet soup agent in Far Cry 4 is also in Far Cry 5 in a side quest. I think he probably did it to cover his tracks. And yes, in New Dawn it shows signs the whole world got nuked.
If you play new dawn there is a feature where you can go all around America looking for items supplies, weapons, etc. All the places you go are destroyed as a result of nuclear fire. However one place you go is a wrecked government plane. Inside is a laptop and huge screen. If you interact with the laptop it will bring up a map showing that nuclear bombs have struck both the United States and India, confirming there was a nuclear exchange between the countries. Was is Ajay? No one can say for sure.
Putting explained in brackets and explaining nothing is shameful. Firstly the far cry 4 theory goes pagin min going with the secret ending being canon launches the nukes towards hope county montana as he was agitated with the cia’s interference with his country. the nukes came from a nuclear Armageddon which is what we are most likely to believe thanks to the radio transmissions however the beginning of the game informs us that no radio transmissions make it into or out of the valley, however thanks to new dawn it basically confirms the theory of nuclear Armageddon. And lastly the theory i believed most likely and came to the conclusion of whilst playing; joseph launches the nukes himself from the 3 nuclear silos he controlled but that wouldn’t have been possible after destroying the bunkers without damaging or destroying the warhead itself meaning the only likely outcome is global nuclear fallout
