With Episode Nagi 19 raws out we now know that Hiiragi was the 3rd for the Niko/Zantetsu duo. Episode of Nagi is a godsend. Would be interesting to see how Hiiragi and Niko drop and Hiiragi eventually ends up on Nanase's team.
In the latest leaks of episode nagi it is confirmed that the third player niko and zantetsu teamed up with was hiragi. And that was the team of 3 that played against nagi, chigiri, and barou.
Honestly sounds kind of cool, I know Iemon, Imamaru and Kuon were a trio so could be those three with Shiguma or Shigumas team picking up Kuon. Chapter 96 seems a bit ambiguous with Raichi looking a bit sad the 4 other team Z players got eliminated so I have my doubts they played but it would be satisfying having Raichi being the one to eliminate Kuon even though Raichi did forgive him at that point,
With the new Episode of Nagi info about the Niko/Hiiragi/Zantetsu team up: Zantetsu gets picked up by Nagi’s team. Niko/Hiiragi drop down, win 2v2. Picking up Hiori. Win 3v3, picking up Saramadara. Lose 4v4 to Nanase’s team, Hiiragi is picked. 4th clear team complete. Niko/Hiori/Saramadara must drop back to 3v3, winning and picking up Ishikari, then winning the 4v4 and picking up Nishioka. 5th clear team complete. (The order here isn’t important).
Well, finally made it. On a side note, we see Hiori as a team Z player in the previous chapter as rank 291 (3rd best in team Z) which may reduce the likelihood of the shoe theory. It could be an error with the number like how Ishikari was ranked 25 instead of 13 for a bit and endoji and zantetsu sharing a number in the final third selection match. What's interesting is that two of Hiori's team mates were seen in chapter 39 next to the guy that looks like Aryu, the first being the bushy hair guy and the second the black spiky hair from the below panel. These characters were from the same stratum I guessed for Karasu I have no way to ask or confirm with Kaneshiro but if he was in fact a team Z player then I still think he would be from Karasu, Otoya and Yuki's stratum. Luckily I don't think it effects this video too much as I still think that Hiori joins Niko's team as their 3rd member
Man I was actually upset when I saw that in the latest chapter: I was so convinced by your theory! That doesn't make your theory invalid tho, it's still an amazing argument!
nice video! I've been asking myself who played with whom against who in the 2nd selection but couldn't really get a satisfying result with the information we got so far about the 2nd selection teams. So I'm glad someone had the patience to actually analyze and dig deep to come up with some possible combinations
I'm so in love with analysis of yours. they make so much sense. I actually had also my theory about the Second Selection, but I need to find where I wrote about that haha
Super interesting! So to guess on what day each team made it through using who played who we have: 1) Rin’s team finishing on day 5 (confirmed) 2) Nagi’s team finishing on day 7 3) Karasu’s team finishing on day 8 (guess) but could be any day 7-9 4) Nanase’s team finishing on day 9 5) Niko’s team finishing on day 11 6 & 7) Raichi and Shidou finishing day 11+ in that order
I think since yuzus low ranked he played against lemons, kuons, and imamuras team and lost. In the 4v4s karasu, yuki, otoya, and himizu beat them. This would make a decent amount of sense considering himizu is only a few ranks lower then karasu. Also we had the exact same theory about nagis team and almost the same for nikos team.
to simplify, just switch hiori & hiiragi places then you got convincing lineup of chronological order or how second selection happens. Nice video, thank you.
lmao, damn Hiiragi. Since Hiiragi didn't interfere too much in my overall theory I'm hoping my other predictions like Kiyora, Haji and Sokura being team mates is true
Yeh, we haven't seen him play so it's hard to tell how good he is. Im guessing Kiyora is legit good and better, we know his shot stat is really high in the NEL and I think he may be the top scorer in his stratum. Guessing Haiji got chosen over him, could be because Haiji is also a survivor but not sure how the match would go And I think Hiori and Niko were good enough to beat him and his fodder team mate
It seems like Kaneshiro just wants to ruin your theories. I guess you've already seen the last chapter of Nagi's spin off, I really feel like your theories are more canon than the manga.
Hey man, i've just read the newest chapter of episode nagi. I realise that nagi, chigiri, and barou just win against niko, hiragi, and zantetsu. Then nagi team took zantetsu and that leaves niko with hiragi for two on two match. Then after that match i found out that karasu and otoya has already made 4 man team with kiyora and himizu. After that nagi challenge karasu team and win so nagi took kiyora. That means after this we know yukimiya and yuzu will complete the karasu team. Then in my opinion niko and hiragi won 2 on 2 match against nishioka team and 3 on 3 against ishikari team so finaly niko made 4 man team (hiragi, nishioka, and ishikari). Then face the team of nanase, taiga, akira, and shizuka haiji with the result of losing again for niko team. Then the akira team took hiragi and go straight to next selection. That means niko back again into 3 man team which is niko, nishioka, and ishikari. Then have a match again hiori team and win so they took hiori and finaly against saradamaru team and win again with the result take saradamaru to next selection. Thats how the 3rd, 4th, and 5th team were made up in the third challenge. In 5th team which is niko team. U can change the number of whoever come first to niko teams. So if you notice the last man that got introduce were always the last man that join the team. That means nishioka will be the last man that complete the niko team.
I wonder if even the author puts much thought into this. Like does he know which stratum and team all 500 players were a part of or just the notable characters. Interesting to think about
perhaps but honestly didn't put much thought into the order of the top 14, the rank 8 and 9 are always together since their introduction. They probably have like 5+ panels together even before completing the 100-goal challenge. So just stuck them 8-9 since they were sequential.
bro my saturation on my monitor is cranked up so much that i thought you just left team x as blank on all the graphs because it just looked white to me lmao
Yeh, I'll try update soon but since it takes forever for me to make videos my quick summary would be that 1) The team to beat Barou/Nishioka/Naruhaya Assuming it's people from the top 50 like mentioned in the video (they lost fast and formed a team before Kuni arrived), there are two possibilities. The first one is the Hiori, Yukimiya, ???. This one is simple, we know they have the skill to beat Barouand Nishioka and it's believable they win 5-4 against Barou's team. With them picking up Nishioka they play against Karasu in the 4v4 and we see Karasu, Otoya, Yuzu, Himizu vs Yuki, Hiori, ???, Nishioka. If Karasu wins then this means Yuki is picked up and then Nishi, Hiori, ??? drop down. And what do you realise about those 3, well they were members on the 5th clear team and since we know that Niko and Hiiragi separate by the end of the 2nd selection then we could see that Niko gets picked up against Hiori, Nishioka and ???. Then we see them proceed to win their next 4v4 against Ishikari or Sara and complete The second option is Sokura, Haiji and ??? beat Barou, Nishioka and Naruhaya. They are low numbers but the main reason I think this is because if you look at the salaries in 246, you realise for the fodder characters that Hiiragi and Himizu have the two highest and who are the next two well it's Haiji and Nishioka. So following that trend the next fodder we should see is Haiji. So we could see Haiji in the 3v3 against Reo. Now the issue is that Haiji finishes on the 4th clear team and so this means if he loses the 3v3 that he would drop to the 2 and it would take another 3 days to complete on the 4th clear team. Personally, I like Yuki's team beating Barou's more but we will hopefully see Reo's 2nd selection progress too, but I'm not sure if we will especially the 4v4 since it would require Kurona's team to consist of new fodders, that the author may not care about introducing now.
Episode Nagi 22 is out, Nagi's teams is going against Otoya,Karasu,Kiyora and Himizu; I much prefer your take as I'd love to take a look into new characters rather than the ones we already have in the main Plotline.
That would be amazing and possibly kickstart a "Shidou is a fraud 😩" meme, as his original trio hypothetically lost to Iemon, Kuon and Imamura. A funny idea, indeed.
Yeh, it sucks Hiiragi ruined my theory but he was one of the fodder character's I was most hyped for so I'm fine. I still think that Haiji and Kiyora were team mates and hoping my other predictions are correct. I'll have to tweak it so maybe something like this *: player who gets selected 6) Niko | Hiiragi | Zan* vs Nagi | Chigiri | Barou 7 ) G1: Niko | Hiiragi vs Hiori* | ?? G2: Nagi | Chigiri | Barou |Zan vs Kiyora* | Sokura | Haiji Nishioka (2nd clear done) 8) G1: (3rd Clear Complete) G2: Niko | Hiiragi | Hiori vs Saramadara* | ?? | ?? G3: Haiji* | Sokura | Nishioka vs Nanase | Endoji | Tsunzaki 9) G1: Niko | Hiiragi* | Hiori | Saramadara vs Nanase | Endoji | Tsunzaki | Haiji (4th clear done) G2: Nishioka | Sokura vs ?? | ??* 10) G1: Nishioka | Sokura | ?? Vs ??* | ?? | ?? G2: Niko | Hiori | Saramadara vs Ishikari* | ?? | ?? 11) G1: Nishioka* | Sokura | ?? | ?? Vs Niko | Hiori | Saramadara | Ishikari (5th clear complete) 12) G1: (6th clear complete) G2: Sokura* | ??? | ??? Vs Shidou | Reo | Igaguri 13) Kurona | ?? | ?? | ?? Vs Shidou | Reo | Igaguri | Sokura (7th clear complete)
I red up to the U-20 so not sure about this, but has Nishoka actually did something? It's either him being on screen once or twice for a brief moment, or he is off screen. So he or was he actually useful?
Excellent work! However, many of the NPCs you've included are duplicates of other characters. For example, the player with number 93 claiming to be part of Shido's Block is the same one you've listed as numbers 17 and 34. He is a member of Ishikari and Nishioka's Team X (the anime got Ishikari's shoes color wrong; in the manga, they are white). The player with number 92, the one Shido beat up, is the same as number 41. He is also part of Team X with Ishikari. Team X is likely the second team to emerge from Shido's Block 2. The duplicate of Tanaka doesn't make much sense; that is Tanaka, but the illustrator has drawn him in a stylized way, as happens with many other characters (even main ones). The anime remains an unreliable source for these kinds of reconstructions. Number 48 is clearly Aryu (indeed, the two blond characters next to him are from Team V), not very stylish but quite fatigued, hehe. Number 66 is part of Team Y, glimpsed in the panel with the pile of balls. He has the number 255 and is near the one you classified as number 25 (Zuyu lol), probably teammates in Y. I've been analyzing the manga meticulously for a while and found many useful details. There are three confirmed teams from the blocks: Team W, Team Y, and Team X. The numbers Isagi and Reo read are low position rankings, meaning the teams from these three blocks have advanced. We just need to figure out where to place them. I presume Team Y is in Block 1, Team X in Block 2, and Team W advances in both Block 3 and Block 4 (with Kiyora being the top scorer in Block 4).
Yeh, I'll have to re-evaluate some stuff, probably after a few more episode Nagi chapters. I know there are some other details like in Hiori's original stratum including an afro guy and a black spiky hair guy in chapter 39. I'll make note of this comment and come back to it in an updated video later
@@andreiursu2815 thanks, appreciate it. I do try with the infographics/art to push some extra creativity and put extra effort into the videos although that does end up making the videos take a bit longer to make but hopefully my effort will help the channel
I wonder how it is that only 7 teams made it through the 3nd selection, after all, 125 people make it to the 2nd selection, dividing it into 41 teams of 3 people each, including 1 incomplete team. so if everyone fights a 3-on-3 duel, there will be 20 teams with 4 players, and if they fight a duel, teams with 5 players will be about 10, so it turns out that the players were afraid to take up the duel, so they had to play only 2-on-2 or 3-on-3, but what about the rest of the players
Well assuming all 125 survive then around 19 teams would've survived. It's most likely that the world 5 players would judge if the players were good enough to make it through, since the teams only realistically have to win 2 matches for the 5v5 it really shouldn't be that difficult for a team of fodders to form a team of 5 especially seeing as how Rin's team took what 5 days to complete? Like you'd think at least 1 other team would complete it faster.
@@akiraendoji so the match against the world 5 was to determine if the teams were good enough to advance to the third selection? Is it a theory or did Ego say it?
@@akiraendoji ye we saw that 4 player team that rins team offered to play against denied them and none of them passed so that means they played no matches after that which is unlikely
@@Andrewwz_it's not 100% confirmed but I think it's implied. We see Luna say it's an assessment and Pablo saying they need to inform Ego of their opinions. It also makes sense that it rats out any team of 5 who are just bad and didn't awaken resulting only in smaller subset of survivors than expected
You said the teams had to complete within a certain span of time. I highly disagree. The only one we see mention time running out is the super anxious tokimitsu which speaks volumes on how unreliable this info is. 2nd, Ego never mentions anything about time (well I read the manga four times so if he actually does I'm blind lol). 3rd, I didn't do the math, but it's highly possible that it is mathematically guaranteed for the 300 players to finalize into 7 teams of 5. 4th, I really don't see the genius Ego making a team fail because they were too good and no one wanted to play them. Let me know what you think of my arguments :D love your videos, I rewatch them quite often.
About the third point in the second selection there weren't 300 players anymore they were like 125, but yeah something about the second selection is wrong: in another comment he (the creator of the video) said that probably the world 5 eliminated most of the teams by "judging" them (but this is a theory), it would make sense considering that we see a team of 4 made of players that didn't pass the 2nd selection (the one that refuses to play against Rin's team) but at least one of them should have passed it so they were eliminated in another way, the fact is that I don't think Ego ever said that the match would determine if you passed the selection or not so it seems a bit unfair to eliminate many teams only because of a match against 5 pro players without even saying that it was a death or life situation (maybe Kuon Iemon and Imamura were eliminated in that way too). Sorry if there are any English mistakes but it isn't my main language
Yeh, I'd favour Otoya, Yuki and Karasu winning over Rin, Aryu and Toki. Aryu and Toki were a lot easier to manage than Karasu/Otoya/Yuki. The top 6 were so ahead of the others at the third selection that it's fair to assume the trio could beat Rin's team. However, Karasu and Otoya both lost to Nagi in the 4v4 so they aren't unbeateable, Toki probably can handle Yuki, Rin handles Karasu and hopefully Aryu can minimise Otoya.
@@akiraendoji true. I've only seen the U-20, so I dunno all of the details. But from what I've seen these guys seem more of a trouble cause you dunno what they are thinking. With Rin, Aryu, and Tokimitsu you can
