Who's The Most Annoying House Guest You've Had Over? 

It's shocking how many people don't want to be clean. My cousin was like that. He showed up one day at my dad's house and just didn't leave. He didn't bring any clothes or toiletries. Didn't pay for anything. Didn't bathe until we complained. Then he put his nasty clothes back on and got filthy again. The bed sheets from the guest room had to be thrown away because they had a permanent stain in the shape of a person. The smell wouldn't come out either. Few things smell as bad as a filthy human. 🤢

Story 3 Ooof. Yeah. She should have been taken to care because of the mental break.

Story 8: Hell, I used to smoke, but I never smoked in my car or allowed anyone (except my mom) to smoke in it either. My mom was the only exception because she was disabled and couldn't stand outside the car to have her cigarette. She'd open the car door and sit down in the seat and smoke with the door open while I stood next to her side of the car and lit up, though, so the car didn't smell of tobacco. If someone else wanted to smoke in my car, I was happy to pull over into a parking lot so we could get out and burn one. Even when I smoked I hated the smell of old cigarette. Didn't smoke in my house if I could help it, either. I spent a lot of time smoking on my porch. I was used to smoking outdoors anyway because I'd been in the military where they banned smoking indoors before most civilian businesses did, and there was never a time when I was in that you could smoke in military vehicles (I served in the 90s).

My story isn't nearly as bad as some of these other ones, but: there was a guy I knew from college who was couch-surfing across the country. I was never really that close with him, but he guilted me into letting him stay at my apartment with a story about how he was dying of kidney disease. Guy showed up in filthy rags, reeking, crashed on my couch. I tolerated this for one night and had him leave the next morning, he seemed mildly surprised. Wasn't rude about it, offered to give me a tube of some kind of half-used cream out of his bag as a thank you for letting me stay with him. I declined this. He continues to post on social media to this day so he very much was not dying.

Geez Louise those stories 😂My worst guest was my and my sister ex forever alone friend who would often stay at ours when we lived together. Dude had a really good personality, but his looks could improve. He always had horrible acne that would explode into people's food, but wouldn't do anything about it, unbrushed teeth with a breath that could wake up dead, smelly feet, greesy hair and a sttange old person odour to him. Our friend group would try to give him pointers of how to improve himself, eg. shower but he haver did anhthing-how do we know-two of our friend lives with him and said that he would always pretend to have a shower but would always come out dry and still smelly oh and often didn't even bothered to turn the tap on. He had extremely high standards of a girl he wanted: tall, blond, beautiful ect, would usually go for girls who were already in a relationship and would never give a change to girls who somehow were interested in him, because they were 'ugly'...they weren't but okay. Once he bought his ex housemate a sexy lingerie and hinted he'd like to see her wear that, despite the fact she was dating his friend. Some people believed he was also a thief, however I can't confirm that.Whenever he woule come over he would either ignore or pretend not to understand the hints that it's time to go and often just stayed on the sofa. When we went to a metal music festival everyone in our friend group was still tryigng to take care of our hygiene needs (baby wipes, washing hair in freezing water, brushing teeth etc) he didn't once changed his socks nor did he brush his teeth. Yet we all ignored him sice we genuinely liked him as a person, even after we saw an article in a newspaper that he went to women's only clothing shop fully undressed himself in the changing room and stated to... pleasure himself leaving the curtains open...yeah. That's when the friendship stated to deteriorated, however both me and my sister are suckers for broken people, so we somewhat continued the friendship. It eventually came to an end when he brought himself a Thai wife and basically ditched us, since he now had to same every penny to fligh to Thailand and support his new wife and her kid. His wife is apparently very jealous of any girl in his life so he's not allowed to hang out with any women who's not his family, so yeah...sorry for the rant/bad English it's my second language.

My whole family has a soft spot for broken people, but especially my sister and my mom. My sister keeps dating people who eventually lose their jobs and don’t bother filing for assistance so then she spends all her money supporting them too. Once she even moved in a fucking literal hobo she was dating. That was living hell. I gave up my freedom and dating opportunities into our 40s to take care of our mother (she died last year) so that one of us could lead a more normal life and she wasted it on hobos/moochers, and a dead end job that doesn’t pay her enough.

The son of a family friend. Kept peeing into everything bowl shaped or with a hole in it until he was banned.

While in the military, I invited a friend along with her BFF to dinner. Long drama short - they stayed 3 days, 4 nights. Ate all the food and stankAF.

What is it with all these people who don’t shower regularly!!!?

This doesn't excuse it since he was a guest, but the story with the friend who became homeless and had the cat sounds like he was suffering from depression. I know from experience that when you're at rock bottom, taking care of yourself, including personal hygiene, can be a low priority.

The first story... If someone killed my dog with no empathy at all they would not be alive to tell the tale. Thats literally sociopathic behavior.

Story 2: she wasn't assuming, she even says at the beginning that their plan was for him to leave that night, he just sprung this on her when he was already there.
