The manager for the Walmart my sister worked at was fired because he was letting people get away with shoplifting, the idea being that once someone had stolen $2'000 worth of stuff he could have them charged with a higher crime. This worked the first couple of times... and then people figured it out and would stop coming to the store once they had stolen just under 2k worth of stuff. Soon, the suppliers noticed that the amount of money being made and the number of products being "sold" did not match up and corporate launched an investigation. One of the bosses employees spilled everything and the boss got hundreds of charges and was ordered to pay for all the stuff he let get stolen. I seriously thought my sis was pulling my leg.

I wish I'd found this when it aired. I was being trained to be a tech support rep for a cable company and we asked our trainer what was the worst thing that an employee had done and been fired for. He brought up something that had just happened a couple weeks before, pictures and all. A customer called to complain that the service tech that had been in their home to fix signal to one of their TV's had been acting super weird. After he left they noticed a long poop stain down the side of their house. Instead of asking to use the bathroom the tech stuck his butt out a second floor window and diarrhea'd down the wall. He finished his service call and high tailed it out of there. After pictures and confronting the tech, he admitted to having stomach issues and being afraid to ask to use the bathroom. He got fired.

We found out an upper boss in our retail clothing company & his wife were murdered, turned out it was his secret boyfriend. None of us store workers ever met him, & no details were ever released but our manager told us everything because he was gay & knew the other guy was & was hiding it & cheating on his wife. It was very sad.

I remember I was subbing a manager for a few days and watched an employee get behind a female intern who was sitting on a chair, hug her, kiss her neck, and finally slap her butt. I knew the guy was married. The intern looked like she was uncomfortably trying to take it as a joke. I was taken by surprise and didn't know what to do. A few minutes later called her in my office and said I watched what happened and needed to know whether she thought it was OK. She said she was a little shaken because she witnessed a mugging on her way to work and he was just trying to cheer her up. I said alright, if that's how you feel about it there's nothing I can do. From what I heard they really were kind of close and she straight up told him that kind of play during work had to stop.

The source told me that a Pepsi delivery driver named Willie showed up to work, apparently didn't like the route he was scheduled for that day, and then left to go home and proceeded to call in sick. And it was seen on security footage Willie coming to work at the Pepsi plant and immediately leaving prior to him calling in sick that day. The source also told me Willie was fired not too long afterwards if not almost immediately. At the time, Willie was married and had a child. I knew Willie as a coworker from his previous employer before Pepsi and Willie was a very subpar employee. I guarantee he was doing stupid shit while employed at Pepsi prior to his "calling in sick" fiasco. I hope his wife left him after his Pepsi incident.

Worked as an assistant manager at a Leslie's Pool Supplies in Simi Valley, CA. We got a new manager & suddenly wet rags were hanging all around the bathroom. 2-3 a day. Our cleaning crew only came in every other day; so, sometimes there were 5-6 wet rags hanging around in there. One day I'm in the store by myself. He calls up, gives me all sorts of instructions and then ends with, "Don't jack in my store." I couldn't believe my ears so asked, "What?" Again, "Don't jack in my store." 'Uh, I never would've thought of that; but, OK.' Then I realized: so THAT'S why there's all these wet rags hanging around!

I was the front end floor manager at a grocery store and two of our baggers were outside clearing the lot at night. I got a call from the McDonald's at the end of our parking lot telling us that two of our employees had gone through their drive thru, one in the basket and one pushing him. They had refused service and saw them coming back up to our store. When they came back in with carts i asked them and they admitted and thought it was hilarious. We almost ran out of carts while they were wasting like 15 min doing that. I didnt have the power to write anyone up so i just left a note and figured they'd get written up and chewed out by store manager. Came back to next shift and found out they got fired as soon as store manager found out. It was crazy, like who does this, and one of the guys was 23 years old. Grow up bro.

Worked at a local coffee shop with mostly teenagers and very young adults, me being 18 at the time. This 40 year old man was hired and everyone was creeped out by him. He was very creepy to everyone, especially the youngest girls. He came into every shift high out of his mind. He was rude to customers. Just an overall nasty dude. One day he brought homemade cupcakes for everyone on the morning shift. I had a s’mores cupcake when I came in for the afternoon shift, when he’d already left. Two of my coworkers also had a s’mores cupcake, all of which had been eaten at this point. After about an hour, the three of us started feeling strange. I’ve eaten THC edibles and it felt exactly like that for all of us. A coworker who was off the clock came in and had us take THC pee tests. All three of us tested positive for THC. We alerted the owner and she called the police. Just as the police showed up, the creepy guy also showed up. Completely coincidentally. He never, ever, EVER came in off the clock, so we thought he was coming back to see what happened to us. The police had to take the very few remaining cupcakes and test them, and they had no trace of THC. They did not test any of the s’mores cupcakes bc we’d eaten them. The guy was fired, and because the remaining cupcakes didn’t test positive for THC, he came up with the story that everyone who worked there ganged up on him to get him fired. He says we wanted to get him fired because he misgendered someone one time (the person he misgendered wasn’t even bothered by it). He went on this whole rant on Facebook about it and used his background as a veteran to gain sympathy. He wanted the police to arrest specifically me for some reason. Nothing ever came of that bc the police saw through his crap. Crazy stuff. Crazy guy. One of the worst periods of time in my life. ✌️

Had an obviously slow coworker at my first job at Taco Bell. He was about 25 and most of the employees were between 16 and 19. He would say really weird stuff and make sexual jokes a lot but everyone just felt bad for him because he was severely unintelligent and awkward.
