“Voting in America is over. Donald Trump has emerged victorious over Hillary Clinton and will become the 45th President of the USA.
Early signs as to how this unexpected result occurred can be seen in demographic exit poll data, with Clinton doing worse than expected among women, Hispanic voters and African Americans.
By comparing Clinton's performance to Obama's in 2012 it is easy to see that she failed to appeal to a number of key voter groups. Groups that it was predicted she would have more support from.
Donald Trump's problems with women have been well documented in the media. He has consistently made derogatory remarksagainst women, calling some "dogs" and "slobs".
At the beginning of October a tape of Trump apparently celebrating sexual assault in a conversation with Billy Bush was released by the Washington Post. It led to a series of allegations against Trump as women came forward to speak out, causing his polling numbers to slump.
This was thought to have helped to drive women to vote for Clinton, with some polls showing a double-figure divide between men and women's support for the presidential candidates.”*

I worded it incorrectly. The latinos that vote are legal, they are citizens. They can be immigrants or natural born citizens of the United States. To think that 100 percent of them would go democratic when a lot of latinos are very conservative is dumb. Obama and the democrats have deported a recorded number of illegal immigrants. I assume the ones that voted for trump either disagreed with Clinton on other issues or felt that everyone should get into this country legally and that the illegal immigrants living here is unfair to their hard work.

Now it is August 2018 and we have 4.1% GDP, The Stock Market is at an all time high, Black and Hispanic unemployment are at all time historic lows, women's unemployment is at a 60 year low. What TYT cursed, is now showing to be the biggest financial blessing to the Blacks, Hispanics, Females in history. And our 401k's are much healthier, and we have a leader who's putting the middle class American First as best they can instead of the filthy globalists. This was not an election where Clinton lost and Trump won or where Clinton was thought to be more dishonest than Trump, and/or where Clinton didn't work the electric. Trump won because 70,000 factory jobs were gone because the politicians on both sides (Dem and Rep) sold out to the globalists and the entire heartlands of the united states was getting financially decimated with this new economy. No steel plants, no aluminum plants, car plants gone etc. We chose an outsider who was mega wealthy to go into Washington and shit on the political class because they shit on us.

+nivlek I'm trying to find some source material that shows the government of Denmark can forcibly relocate you, but I'm having trouble. if you could point me to a website that shows this, I would be appreciative. Now having said that; even if Bernie had won, and even if he was dead-set on a "Denmark-like" type of socialism, those kinds of things would be impossible to pass in America. Forcible relocation is unconstitutional, and wouldn't be possible, let alone likely. Secondly, democratic socialism is just that. Democratically elected leaders of a socialist-like government. If you don't like the direction the government is taking, vote them out, and try again. Just like now. The term socialism has been turned derogatory as of late, but really it just means that you own nothing, the government of the people owns everything, and you are provided for, as long as you are willing and able to go to work. (True) Socialism isn't for the lazy. You don't want to work? That's fine, but we're not going to feed you, or house you. I would love to chat out the intricacies of socialism with someone who actually lived in Denmark. Let me know, I'd love to talk about your experiences, and see how things could have been better.

I can't stand that woman who interrupted Hillary. Hillary did not call every black person super predators. Hillary (back in the 90s) was identifying that black people have had terrible gang violence and that it needs to be addressed. That being said, I agree with Cenk that Hillary didn't excite the base and it's too bad we didn't have Bernie who would have brought out the vote. A sad day for our side (I voted for Hillary despite massive disagreements with her) but hopefully leads to a liberal non-establishment candidate in 2020. Terrifying to have trump as president tho

I am so glad that I finally found this old video. I've been looking for it for a while. Now any time that I come across "moderates" that claim that the so-called "Bernie Bros." are part of the reason for Hillary's loss, I will gently guide them to 7:56 - 8:33 of this video. Most likely I will be treated to something "clever" in reply to my suggestion, but I will try to link them to it all the same. P.S. From 4:23 - 5:05 as well. So much for young voters never turning out to vote at election time. They turned for their Messiah Obama but not Hillary; I wonder why?

Yes! And way too many of my friends are still doing the thing of blaming voters instead of blaming the politician and their campaign for failing. I worry about whether the Democrats will learn anything, and I don't just mean the insiders.

The question is who is to blame for Trump winning? Hillary. I voted for her. I had to. But there are many who couldn't. I get it. She does have bad judgement. She is a liar and an opportunist. I don't hate her, it is just hard to get excited to have her running the show.

You had a sh** candidate and you stopped at nothing to try to defeat Trump I get it, but all your support of her by saying she's innocent and a perfect candidate and kind is really disappointing. It's actually a real shame. She used all of you who supported her and everyone elses money for her own selfish bull**** cause. This was never for you. I hope you learned from this election. Maybe next time lean the other way from the Democratic party if it's not what is right.

4:58 Not true at at all, the millennial voter turnout in 2016 was about the same as it was in 2008 around 50%. It's bad enough you don't do any journalism, just commentary, but if you are going to quote a statistic at least quote the right statistic. "As of this writing (noon on November 9, 2016), an estimated 23.7 million young voters participated in the 2016 presidential election, which is 50% of citizens aged 18-29 in the United States." civicyouth.org/an-estimated-24-million-young-people-vote-in-2016-election/ The 19% in the Bloomberg article doesn't refer to voter turnout but rather the share of the electorate, and it remained unchanged from 2008 to 2016.
