Alsanna, and it's not even close. Goes from being essentially being the fears of Manus; to the loving protector of her king's final wishes to stop the chaos; having the biggest redemption arc of any child of dark/queen character in all the souls games.
Perhaps Nashandra's human form wasn't supposed to be seen from so far away earlier in development, or it could be that the developers made her model detailed to use as a good base for that giant statue that would have been in The Gutter earlier in development, per Illusory Wall's video.
I doubt it. That hat is too ungainly, so she probably has to do those leaning hugs where her shoulders go in but she leans her neck away so all you get is collar bone and awkward vibes.
Nashandra is great. The person is so influential in the plot of the second part, having such a strong image. I think she would have a huge potential to become not only the main antagonist, but something more. To take us more seriously, inclining us to the dark side. But even so, her greatness is difficult to deny, because this is one of the few antagonists of the series who has lost his mind, is acting right now and has a well-thought-out plan.
@@Reemon27 technically she's supposed to rule the whole of Yharnam (she's of Pthumerian descent, the previous rulers). There's a reason why she live in a castle and there's no other real central government, the Church is supposed to be just a scholastic organization on the surface until they practically front a revolution towards Cainhurst and proceed to spectacularly shid the bed.
Rennala is a normal human woman, and yet she's the most powerful and intelligent sorcerer in the Lands Between (her full moon spell requires 70 INT), she was once a simple astrologer but then became the one and only queen of Raya Lucaria due to her incredible skill, and she managed to win in battle against the Golden Order itself. Absolutely based queen
Rennala is definitely accomplished, but based on what the Stargazer Heirloom says, she might have made contact with an outer god. Rennala never faced Godfrey and the Crucible Knights, but she helped Liurnia be a formidable, fortified nation with a lot of traps regardless.
Rennala for me, I feel so sad for her I just want to give her a hug and say everything is going to be ok, radagon was a bastard for leaving her heartbroken.
I like Qwynevere the most, but not specifically because of her design, but rather the story behind her creation mentioned in the "Dark Souls Design Works" book. The gist (off the top of my head) is that she is giant because Miyazaki thought a giant woman would be a comforting figure (which gives me Steven Universe vibes). Conversely Miyazaki also didn't initially like how "endowed" she was, but he didn't have the heart to tell the concept artist because of how enthusiastic he was with what he drew, so he kept it in the game. I think was a good call.
Rennala has a strange, doll like Quality to her, be it her shiny skin, her waxy lips or her dead eyed stare, I don´t know Gwynevere´s eversmiling visage is just plain unsettling up close Nashandras model does not hold quite as much grace as her painting, which is a shame but understandable since you only see her from afar and poor Madam Yharnam... is the spitting image of a Victorian Era elderly Lady of high society, especially with that collar and the tightly bound hair - the earrings are a nice touch
I was confused at first by your inclusion of Gwynevere, since she's the Princess of Sunlight. However, DS3 heavily implies that she was also the Queen of Lothric.
Well, actually my favorite queen is Chrysalis, but if i need to choose from dis list... Gwynevere. I allways have a good time in her company after fights with crazy knights, giants and dat 2 fиckers-Ornstein and Smoug
