‘Hey, Tarkus is actually doing pretty well, he might-‘ *Tarkus casually walks off the beam to fall to his death* ... ‘Ight, I’ll say I didn’t see anything -_-
To be fair you can use force to repel massive iron balls like the molotov things the Giants at Sen throw at you, so it might pack a considerable disturbance in Iron Golem's balance
Kirk: Better watch your step, my armour will make you bleed! Iron Golem: I’m an autonomous armour powered by a Dragon’s bones you moron. Kirk: … Kirk: Wha- *Stompity Stomps*
Can we all appreciate how TANKY Beatrice was!? If she hadn’t backed herself into a corner, she could have won that pretty easily. Not even Leroy took hits that well!
I like to imagine these vids are just the games of the people at Firelink Shrine that they play to ease their boredom, knowing they’re effectively immortal. The others laugh and cheer while the challenger does their thing and they’re all enjoying themselves like it’s a sport.
@@KinneKitsune Yeah, I'm surprised Laurentius wasn't here. His showing against the mushroom surely didn't imply he could be overly powerful against bosses.
Love how confident and aggressive kirk was. Rushing in knowing full-heartedly that he would succeed after watching leroy bring down the golem, only to get immediately stomped without landing a hit
TBH, I was rooting for him, high-key! The Murakumo is well-suited for this fight. Not the best, not THAT bad, either. It's not like , it's a pure dex weapon. Why can't Shiva be more than a token Asian man living in a medieval fantasy world? Damnit!
*Leeeeerooyyy!!!!* Basically, the smartest hero in this video. Unlike the others, he saw the golem from the very beginning of the round, and rushed forward to achieve his epic victory!
Most of the npcs: Hang back and let the golem come to them Paladin: *immediately charges* Alright lets do this LEEEEROOOOOY JEN- *hit by the opening shockwave* that aside...am I the only one who praised the sun when Solaire's fight started?
Leeerooooy! He just the smartest then others. Actually, Leeroy, Kirk, Lautrek and Solare started moving from the very begining because they are summonable/invadeble phantoms, while others are just a merchants.
Her aggro range is normally larger, so she should have been landing hits when he was at least in the middle of the central platform. Something was off with her here, but at least she showed that she can live up to her lore success against the Iron Golem (and she even acquired the Lordvessel).
Poor Beatrice, not a single one of your brain cells showed up today. However, you STILL would have WON if not for a Homing Soul Arrow cluster shooting backward. Also, where was her aggro range? It's way bigger for the Butterfly and Kings. Anyway, I loved that bonus challenge. We now know that Tarkus lost to an army of hard counter Buckler parry fishers instead of gravity (no way lore Tarkus walks off on purpose). Thanks Bonfire!
No, I think he did walk off on purpose, he’s beaten every bosses and enemies in Lordran and beyond, so he sought a greater challenge, he thirsted for the ultimate battle against the greatest enemy of Lordran : he wanted to see if he could beat *Gravity* Turns out he couldn’t.
@@faddedreality6885 Actually there is, there is one gravity fears above all else, above the pursuer, above the hackers, above all winged beasts who can still die if they are dropped from some tens of meters for some reason, above even the mighty rotten greatwood who won’t die if dropped from the exact same height... for some reason. His name is... DS2’s falconers. Seriously I can’t imagine another explanation for why they are tilted either backward or on the side than because they are taunting gravity :|
You ever wonder how Nito became the first of the dead? How Seethe became scaleless? Who broke Artorias arm and taught his ugly dog to weild a sword? Well the same man is said to be Havels older brother who once gifted him his Dragon Tooth as a birthday present after he took it from Kalameet, actually he didn't even have to take it, Kalameet tore it out and gave it to him willingly after pleading for it's pathetic life in return. This man created Blightown out of his own vomit Manus and the 4 kings hide deep in the Abyss out of pure fear Fools say he is dead, wise men realize that his armor was making things too bland and easy for him so he decided to take it off to spice things up.... You ever wonder why the real Gwynevere is not in Anor Londo anymore?..... Tarkus doesn't ;) She makes him breakfast every morning and hand him a nice cold estus
Petrus: "Alright, i humiliated myself during the Mushroom battle, so now i must redeem myself this time!" *still gets rekt the hardest out of anyone* Nico: "Wow, and here i was afraid i would be the worst this time."
The best part about Jenkins' fight is that he just charged in right at the beginning without any regards, and he took the hit from the first swing. Just like the real Leeroy Jenkins did and would. A true legend he is.
I love Leeroy's strategy of "Come here you little shit" Followed by Kirk seeing that, trying to do the same, and getting quite literally stepped on. And then Siegmeyer seeing both and deciding to NOT rush in after all. Beautiful sequence.

i like how Kirk didn't even get a hit in while Beatrice came 3rd in terms of damage to the Iron Golem definitely summoning Beatrice in my future playthoughs
Bro, she's pretty cool and has a bigger aggro range than shown here, but the poor woman is a huge liability against the Four Kings. Only bring her to the NG version of that fight, unless you have a "lol 2 Kings" build or something. There's a reason why Beatrice either failed to beat the Kings or died of her injuries shortly after winning in her own world.
