A pillow-soft pie 🥧 layered with sweet cinnamon sugar. With a crispy crust, dimpled with cinnamon sugar apples, butter and crunchy cane sugar. This sweet piece of bread is sure to win you over!
🥧Ingredients🥧
➤Dough:
Milk - 450 ml
Yeast - 1 tsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Flour - 500 gr.
Salt - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
➤Filling:
Apples - 2 pcs.
Sugar - 3-4 tbsp
Cinnamon - 1 tbsp
Ghee butter - 3-4 tbsp
Cane sugar optional.
➤The dough does not need to be kneaded by hand.
This can be done with a large spoon.
➤The dough should be sticky and lumpy. Cover the dough and leave for 20 or 30 minutes.
➤After this time, use a spatula or your hands to fold the dough on all four sides from the edge to the center.
Cover the dough again and leave for 30 minutes.
➤Then repeat the same with the dough again, folding it from the edge to the center. And repeat this two or three times.
➤Next, cover a baking sheet with parchment and grease with olive oil or any other oil. Transfer the dough onto it.
➤Then stretch the dough, sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon, fold the dough in layers as in the video.
➤Cover the dough again and leave for another 30 minutes.
➤In the video, I transferred the dough to a smaller baking sheet!
➤Next, cook the apples.
My apples are sweet and sour, red with thin skin🍎
➤Chop the apples, sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon, mix, place on top of the dough, pour over melted butter, press into shape with your fingers. Sprinkle with cane sugar if desired.
➤Bake in a preheated oven at 230 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
