Hi! Sorry I've been on and off (for a while now!) I've been working on myself for this past time, with the help of a therapist, and I've been healing a lot. Hopefully, I can go back to a regular schedule soon! Meanwhile, isn't Ann Wilson one of the best VOCALISTS (yes, with caps on) of Rock music? No need to respond.. that was rhetorical. I've been obsessed with this hit for months and I've been watching lots of performances so I thought this would be a good idea Enjoy!

To me, Ann Wilson, she is the one that musically created that into this song, and she just sounds as phenomenal as anyone else. Also, no one should've beat Ann Wilson when it comes to these screams like this.

I find it funny that a lot of the singers in this compilation are Filipino. This really is one of those international songs that not only becomes popular but also sticks with the entire community. Heck, my mom pesters me to sing it with her in karaoke knowing full well it's too high for both of us-

It’s so sad for me seeing vids of Celine singing towards the end of the Taking Chances tour in late 2008/ early 2009. She was so emotionally, physically and vocally exhausted that she was zooming through songs with no passion and looked relieved and happy when the show would end. Not her best attempt at the note by a long shot, but the run was nice afterwards

So, this is not really a hard choice for me, Ann Wilson. She's been performing that song for over 35 years after all. I do love Floor Jansen and Carrie Underwood but I've been listening to Heart since I was in utero so I'll always go with the original. My Mom loved Heart so when that album came out she'd play it all the time and we would rock out to it. Such a great song.

Everyone did great and they all had their own tune and their own way but Ann Wilson is the only one who can do it justice, that song only sounds good when Ann sings it, nobody can hit that note with the power she has behind it!!! All singers have that one song that no one else can sing!!!

But of course, the best part is not the high notes, but the harmonised part of the two voices together on the chorus in the original. That's what makes the song for me.

Can't really pick a favourite, but I do know i am NOT a fan of the ones that sound too Clean. They've got to be a little messy, or it just doesn't sound right. (But... not as messy as Brittany Smith, Kate Shindle, Morissette Amon). Also, I feel like scooping up like, a FULL TONE is kind of cheating. Do what you gotta do to get there but also... im side-eyeing. But in all seriousness, these are all very talented vocalists who should be very proud.

I used to read these reactions and get mad I don't get mad anymore because my brain goes right to the fact that it's attribute to them it's a tribute to these singers........ So to me it'll never be a contest....... I leave the arguing and bickering to other people I just appreciate a good Tribute.......... At some point in time these reactions always get ugly that's why to me they are all a fitting tribute done in each singer's own unique style and that's how I'm gonna look at them from now on I don't care who was the best.....

Why is someone who isn’t singing it in the original key included? (Kate shindle) No offense to her or her talent but if the purpose is ranking the ability to sing the high note someone who lowers the key shouldn’t be included ETA: at least 3 people featured here lowered it. Ann Wilson is the unbeatable original. Rachel Hawnt is second for me though. A lot of these others sound either too poppy or don't have their souls in it.
