Benaiah was a Hero. He was loyal both to David and his son Solomon. He was about the only David's mighty men we saw in King Solomon's cabinet. All the killings he did was never selfish. He acted in line with the King's instructions.

Not sure what version of the Bible this is taken from, but when David's forces fought Absolom's men, David did not declare judgment on Absolom and actually forbade his men to kill Absolom. Absolom was not captured .He got stuck in a tree as his massive head of hair got caught in the branches of an oak tree and he came off his mule and was left hanging in the air by his hair. Then Joab (commander of David's army), against David's command, speared the defenseless Absolom to death.

It's all relativ. I was called black in my childhood because I was the only dark haired child from all my siblings and relatives. Compared to no Europeans my hair is brown. All is relative.

To have this kind of bravery and be remembered in the Bible are the god-fearing mighty men and women of the old and new testament. Moses parting of the red sea and the 10 plagues on Egypt. King David was a teen when he took down Goliath, his mighty men are also mentioned by names in the Old Testament. Sampson who was infused with holy spirit when he took down the entire coliseum of wicked people making fun of him when he was blind and captured by the enemy. The 3 young Hebrews who were put into the fiery furnace by wicked king Nebuchadnezzar the 2nd, of Babylon demanding to be worshipped by his towering golden image. And Elijah when he in old age outran Ahab's chariot and challenged the 450 false prophets of Baal. Just a few mentioned as great men and women of the Bible. Only God can give this kind of courage and power in the face of hostile opposition and being outnumbered by the enemy. This gives a powerful witness and testimony of one's faith when infused with holy spirit to give God the glory.
You are using a poor translation when describing the Egyptian who Benaiah killed. The Egyptian was a man of great height. He was measured at 5 cubits tall, which when using the royal cubit (20.6 inches) would have meant that the Egyptian was about 8 feet and 7 inches tall

But when Absalom fled from Joab and the thicket caught him where he was helpless to continue fleeing, (which was the LORD'S answer to David's prayer for the safe return of his son), Joab, having lost men in the battle with Absalom, killed him there (II Sam.18:14,15).

Interesting video, but at 5:40ish area you said Benaiah the son of Jehoiada supported David carrying out the king's judgment on Absalom, but that's not what happened. Joab killed Absalom when his hair was caught in a tree and he was suspended in the air. Joab did this against David's orders which were to not hurt his son. 2 Sam 18:9-14 14 Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak.
